      Worst Money Transfer Company Ever! Their customer service is like a broken record. Same excuse over and over again. Today, 12/6/2023, we sent money directly to a bank account in ***************. Pangea said the transaction was complete. 10 seconds later it said to call them to complete the transaction. 10 seconds after that they said it was cancelled, before we even had time to call them. Pangea customer service rep was rude and said there is nothing she can do for us. It was cancelled because of the other bank in ***************. The customer service rep said it would take 3 to 5 days before they would release our money back to our US Bank account. We don't make small loans to Money Transfer companies. They blamed the hold on US Bank, but when we checked it was on hold due to Pangea. Total liars. Everything is computerized, so there is no reason there should be a hold on our money if they cannot complete a transaction. We don't have a ton of money to loan out to faulty Money Transfer companies and their antiquated policies. US Bank won't put the money back to our bank account until ********************** releases it. Do yourself a favor and use a different service.

      This business is an absolute scam! I was lured by their high exchange rate but turns out it was only for the first $500. I tried to send $1,000 to ***************. I sent the money on November 30 and was informed that the money is ready for remittance. The receiver went to the bank listed on Pangea's site where money can be picked up and 5 days later, I was informed that the money was not remitted. Now I have to wait another 5 business days to receive a refund.

      Tried using their service for an emergency and kept getting transactions canceled by their "random" selection process. Called after each transaction and spoke to the same manager *****. I provided all the information requested from me and they kept saying to try a different name or try a different amount but when there is only certain people I can send to, I am not sure how that is helpful. I had to keep calling (about 5 times) since their phones were "disconnecting" or because they did not have a resolution to my issue. The manager was no help at all since he basically provides the same information as a representative. After requesting to speak to his superior or requesting to speak to someone that requested the information, he wouldn't provided me a name or number and basically said he was the highest I could get. Again, this was an emergency and there was no support from them at all. Not a good company to work with.

      I transferred money to the ** for cash pickup at BDO. The transfer code provided was not recognized and BDO could not locate the remittance. Several days, emails, calls, and pickup attempts later, Pangea still could not provide an explanation or a commitment WRT a definite resolution. A Pangea supervisor promised to send a local partner to assist, but that call never happened. We later found out that we should have been given a valid referral code by Pangea, not the bad transfer code that the bank did not recognize. BDO made an exemption and allowed the cash pickup after a thorough review of our banking relationship with them, otherwise they would not have released the money. Take my advise and use another remittance service that will respect your time and convenience. That was far too much trouble for us so rest assured I will never use them again or recommend to anyone.
