Reverb Support used false claims about a power supply by the buyer as means to return a unit. They then doubled down by misinterpreting information from the manufacture of the unit's website and insisting I sent the incorrect power supply. They sent a picture of a cable that wouldn't even fit the unit!!! Unbelievably unprofessional of Reverb Support. They couldn't even do their own due diligence to research and get the facts straight. I literally called the manufacture and was told (of course) that they sent me the correct power supply and explained it clearly, Reverb is indeed confused, and also never reached out to them! On top of that I've been a Preferred Seller for over 10 years, never had an issue. The level of respect I was given was terrible and their case was completely unfair.Reverb.com, LLC

1 starA terrible platform alienating both buyers and sellers with terrible customer support. All they have is a barely functional chatbot, foolish marketplace integrity specialists, resolution experts who are being duped by shady buyers and sellers alike. Moreover, the company hands out bans to sellers and buyers with multiple 5 star feedbacks who keep their platform alive.Its almost unimaginable that in this day and age, a company selling tens of millions of dollars of musical instruments and equipment every month cant afford some basic call centres so you can address your grievances with a human or escalate issues to a supervisor.The platform survives because of a still loyal base of users from the days of ownership of ********************** and Kalt, but **** is running this platform to the ground. Hightime a new startup shows up in the global musical instruments e-commerce and shows how the ineffective leadership how things are done.Review fromMark L

1 starI've been burned by dishonest sellers twice now. I'm done with Reverb. They actually deleted the bad review I left for a dishonest seller a few years ago. There is a short span of time you have between purchasing an item and reporting a problem with the item. If you miss that window, you're screwed. **************** is slow and lame. They protect the sellers and don't give a flip about the buyers. On my most recent purchase, I researched the seller, saw they had a brick/mortar shop in **, sold a lot of items, and in general had good reviews. They claimed the item was "used" and in "excellent" condition. It had NEVER been used because the instrument was unplayable. No musician would buy it. It still had all the stickers and tags on it. It was actually an instrument that should never have left the factory. None of these problems were noted in the description. It was a high-end instrument, so I assumed the best about the transaction and let my guard down. If you're buying from Reverb, you can assume you there may be a dishonest seller on the other end. Make sure you can return the item for free AND get a full refund. It not, don't buy it. With Reverb's "guarantee" (Ha!) that means you only have a few days to get a complaint in. And there's no guarantee they'll help you. That's pretty sketchy in my book.Review fromAndrew F

1 starIf I could claim 0 stars I would. This company is very shady and actually stole my bass guitar. I shipped my bass with there reverb label which covers the item of any damage. The bass was damaged ******* shipping. They said it was covered for ******. Then they told the buyer to ship it to their warehouse. I asked them for the bass back and was told no, that they are keeping it because I didnt let them take the return money out of my account. Which would have caused an overdraft cause it was 2 weeks later. If they would have sent it back to me I would have claimed the repair in full and still had the bass. So there is no reason for them to keep my insurance money and the bass. I have discussed this with them repeatedly and they wont send it back. I will never use this company again. You cant say you have insurance then keep the item too, thats theft and insurance fraud. They always side with the buyer too. ****** allowed one of its sellers to sell a broken product through a loop hole for over $600. Thats crazy. This is the second time this has happened. The first time last Christmas I never received the amp I ordered either. I spent over a thousands dollars on this website and got a completely unusable guitar and never got the amp at all. This is insane that they are allowed to steal money from people. Used this sight twice and both times I wished id never did. I have been a seller on Reverb.com for years. I recently switched bank accounts and on Dec 2nd a sale of mine went to the closed account. I adjusted the site, alerted Reverb, and **************** and **************** assured me that Reverb would have the money back the next day as it would bounce immediately back to them. I chatted with their offshore people, one of which said it would be resolved by the end of the week (last week) and that someone from accounting would reach out to me within 24 hours. This never took place. When I reached out to their support team again, they blocked me from using the support app. I finally received an email from someone who acted as if they knew nothing of the ticket. This company has completely gone down hill since Covid, and their support staff are terrible. They owe me just under 300 dollars and I do not if, or when I will receive it.Reverb.com, LLC

Absolutely a nightmare dealing with this company and their structure. They say one thing and do another. They say after selling your first item your money the next time will begin being processed as soon as it is sent from the sending service. I send something on a Wednesday before 12, I watch it get scanned, and even the buy communicates to me that the tracking is in progress and they still dont process my payment by the weekend.Directly violating what they say they will do. The time before that I sent something on a Thursday and they said they processed it on FrIday night the next day before a holiday; So I had to wait to be paid Till the following Tuesday. No other place does a seller get paid that long after the merch leaves. You maybe able to sell something in their site but dont expect them to honor what they say. They change the wording around or apply their own meaning that is not clearly written, but is posted as if it is. Two thumbs way down!Reverb.com, LLC

1 starIt is absolutely impossible to contact a real person at Reverb. I'm only trying to cancel a refund request and can't even get that accomplished. The phone number only says thank you and hangs up and the chat keeps kicking me off because I can't answer from the official list of reasons I need to chat about.
