    1 star is too many. My bill for Nov/Dec 2024 was double what it normally is and it was unseasonably warm that entire time. I was also gone for two whole weeks during that time not using heat (set at *****) and not using cooking gas. I emailed them on their website almost 3 weeks ago and no one bothered to respond. The website says the response time is 1-2 business days. I called them and they would not lower my bill - not even a supervisor.

    After posting a $965 payment through their website it said to call them. They then told me to cancel the *** payment I just submitted to use a credit card to "get reconnected faster." I told her repeatedly I was not going to cancel the payment, and she kept pushing me to use a card over and over again. Why would your website allow an "ineligible" payment? Stop trying to sell me on something when I am FORCED to use your company.

    They came to our home without any prior notice, trespassed into our property since there was no one there, and replaced our meter, leaving us with no gas. And then they gave us no priority in coming back to turn back on, despite admitting that they made a mistake and it shouldn't have happened. They said, if they don't come by 9pm, then call back tomorrow. Unacceptable. We were offered to file a formal complaint, which we did, but never got the promised call back. They know what they're doing and are telling their technicians, just do it, and then just say "sorry." As a commercial customer as well, I am constantly outraged by the steep delivery charges that we have to pay even when the use is 0. So all summer, we have to pay over $200 per month while using 0 gas. If you stop service, which they still offer you to do, you first have to pay all of the delivery fees for all the months you had it off in order to turn it back on. What's the point of the Stop Service?

    1-star is too generous. I moved apartments in January, and a tech came to verify meters. My usage for Jan/Feb/Mar was less than $30, but had over $60+ in other fees. BS!After a couple months, I was told something was wrong with the meters so they sent another tech in June. Then *again* in August. Won't even tell you for what, just sending them out blindly with 4 hour window. I've had to miss work, and they don't even always show up. Completely unprofessional. I had even cancelled one appointment because I couldn't miss work again, and the tech showed up in a ****! I saw red when my July bill came in August. I had 2 different accounts credited to my name with 2 different meters; the one I've been paying since I moved in, then some other with a whopping $800+ due. Immediately called to find their customer ********************** is -***/**, nobody knows anything, nor can they tell you anything. I specifically mentioned my account number with my meter number, and asked the *** to close the OTHER account. Well wouldn't you know, they conveniently closed MY account, and tried to stick me with the $800+ bill. Again customer ********************** is no help. They set up an appointment with an investigator earlier this month, who of course was a no-show. I called again, have another set up for later this month. I have tried to get gas service from another gas company, but all claim ************ is the only service provider for *******. How can they have a monopoly on gas delivery?! This is complete and utter bs. I have a paper trail of bills and appointments, none of which explain where this random $800 bill is coming from or why they're trying to pin it on me. Nobody can explain it. This is by far the worst natural gas company I've ever encountered.

    Have always paid on time my bills never late, & the gas got disconnected since Tuesday, August 13, 2024. So far they have sent about 5 or 6 technicians with the excuse the tech do not have the equipment, that is not their job, or the company does pay them over time to complete the job. So far today is Thursday, August 22, 2034, no resolution, with several calls, to several departments. Sincerely, Senior citizen couple without Gas.

    They're a scam. I have been a victim of them allowing checks to be sent out that are fraudulent. Instead of the company working with me using the number they instead would not take seriously that they are committing fraud through another company that stole their name. I will go to the *** with us but I'm letting you know people's gas company don't care. It's more of a hindrance than anything for them

    I would give them a zero if I could. Here is my issue. My bill is due about the 12th of each month. It is hard to pay that bill on time since I pay on the second paycheck which is around the 20th. I set myself up on budget billing so in the winter time I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to keep my service going. The issue is that once I am a day late in paying my bill they take me off budget billing then they make me pay everything to get caught up. This happened several times over the past 8 years. I am unable to change my billing due date because it has to go according to the meter run. Last month they told me that I had to pay $1837 by the 28th to keep my service going. On the 28th I made the $150 payment that they told me to pay. They still came out to cut my service. So after I gathered up $1837 to get my service reconnected they came out 3 days later and reconnected my service. Took about 10 minutes or less. My bill comes out a week later and it is for $245. Common really. I am like what is going on they have a $30 late fee. a $77 balance forward fee and a $101 reconnect fee. Imagine $100 to reconnect my service that took less then 10 minutes. That is at a rate of over $600 an hour. I can get a good lawyer for cheaper then that. Anyways I call them up and see if they can waive any of these late fees or the reconnect fees and they are unable to do anything to help me. Evil company. They really do not care about the customers because they monoplize the market in *******. I cannot switch to a new provider. All they can do is provide me to a program that might be able to help me IF I qualify for it. I cannot catch a break with these blood sucking b*******

    Peoples Gas threatened to disconnect my gas service accusing me of tampering with the meter at ************************************************************************************. I had set up appointments for them to come out on two occasions, but they never showed. then I was told there were no new meters available due to supply chain shortages. They finally came out & seen that there was only meter there, because the tenant on the first floor of this two flat wasn't using gas. he had an electric stove and the landlord (me-*********************************) had switched the hot water heater to electric. I received this huge bill for $2,250.63 cents on account ##############When I call to discuss this I am transferred to an "escalation" manager who is not a manager when I ask for a manager no manager calls me back. My callback is ### ###-####. Please, help.

    The worst customer ********************** I have ever experienced.In the year 2023 it is unbelievable to me that they have enough technicians out to shut off gas but not enough to come back out and turn it back on. They are the only option for gas in ******* and that is why they can get away with what they do.

    Spoke to a customer representative (*****) about setting up my gas 10 days prior- a technician came to the building 3 days after my call and did a inspection on the whole building while property owner was there and then I got a message about my appointment 2 days before my gas was supposed to be turned on only to find out that its only a meter reading because the technician failed to update and peoples gas failed to update me on any progress on my account that was already scheduled. I even asked peoples gas representative Toeja- e126511 that if ***** lied and she told me yes and I mentioned it to ********-e150193 as well that he lied and how poor communication there is but because its a monopoly company they do the bare minimum. No one in this company can give a straight answer. We need other options than this company or seriously start investing in solar energy.
