    On the 15th of oct 2024 around 11am I Semmy Soyege stop by Am auto express on 2800 *. ******* to lease a from ************************ I try out about two different cars out none of them was in a good running condition, the owner told me to check out 2014 **** **** C **** red in color. I test drive the car but not in good running condition, I list all the problem out. The horn is not working, the break not holding properly , oil change, headlight not coming on. He ask me to Zelle him $200 before his mechanic start working on the car and ***** $200 right away. I waited for about 3 to 4hrs for the car. I try the car again the headlight is not come on, he said it's going come on when it get dark. on my way home I realized the horn is not working and the headlight. On 16th of oct 2024 went back to his shop, headlight was fix horn was not. He said he has place order for horn's part. I left his shop to ****'s office to add the car to ****** app to drive, on getting to ****** office their computer was done ask me to come the next day. I went back to am auto told him about app was down, he told me that my list we start the next day which 17th oct 2024. The next day I start driving on lakeshore drive the car start slowing down on me I exit on ********* to fill the car out, the car start running again pick up passenger going to ******************** on ********* and **** the car stop on me. I apologized to my passenger she make an arrangement for another **** ride. I call Mr ******** three time he's not picking up his phone and texts him and try to call him again he pick up and he told me to turn the ignition off for 30mins the car is gong to start to bring the car to his shop. upon getting there waited again for 30mins explain my situation to him, he want to fix car again i said no. I said you lease the car for for me $200 and $30 worth of gas in the car. I don't want the car again just give me $150 out of $230 and he said no. I drop his car key and I left his shop.

    Hello,
            This is the clarification regarding the above mentioned case. We have a car rental company and mostly rent cars for the long term to ********* drivers. We have a repair shop adjacent to the rental office to maintain and repair cars in a timely manner. Whenever we rent a car to a driver, we make them agree to the rules and one of the rules is that the driver is supposed to give a week in advance notice before they drop the car. Please see attachment for rules sent to Mr. ****** through text messages. 
                **************** liked to drop the car without advance notice. He was using different reasons so that he doesn't have to pay. This is true that his car has some issues but we were ready to fix problems right away as we have a repair shop. 
                We provide the best customer service and alway try to go out of the way to help our customers. Our ****** reviews are proof of that.

    I am rejecting this response because: Reference to my complaint submitted 10/24/24. I listed all the problems with the car 2914 **** C-Mark, some problems are fixed while I'm waiting after paying him the lease $200 and some are not fix like the horn and the break that's holding properly. Mr. ******** ********** he's talking about rules and I'm about talking the problems with the car. The car stop on me twice in two days, the second day l call him up. The second day the car stopped on me, l call him up he didn't respond for almost 45 minutes. I was stress out, when he respond he told me what to do with the car. That means  he know the car is not in a good running condition before he lease it out to me. Mr. ******** ********** don't have any other car to give me when l get to his shop. He want me to wait again to fix the car without the horn, because he told me that  he order the horn and it will be deliver that weekend three more days to drive in the city of ******* without horn it's not safe Mr. ******** **********. You are put my life, passengers life, other people's life in danger. Mostly it's not about the money alone. I'll like BBB to help me collect my money $230 plus gas money. I have a full tank of gas in his car. Thanks.

    I have never told him to wait three days to fix the car. I only told him to take a loaner car to go home and come back next day to pick up his car back. But he was prepared to drop the car only. Therefore, I told him to that he agreed to the rule that I need a week in advance notice to drop the car. I have no problem refunding the money if I have no solution for him. Please advice. Thanks.

    I am rejecting this response because: Mr ******** ********** is talking about the rules and regulations of his business. He want me to be driving around  the the city with know horn in the car and the car  keep stopping on me twice in two days. He told me he has place an other to fix the horn on Monday of that week and the part we be arriving over the weekend. He didn't not evening have any good car available to exchange from or to that means l have to wait again. Reference to my first complain to bbb dated 10/24/24 l listed all the problems. Mr ******** ********** is just trying to have his cake and eat at the same time. I'm not going to let him get away with this at this time. If l have to report him to State or what ever l need to do get my money back ready. I'm hoping we can resolve it soon him paying me my money back. Thanks
