I purchased a solar pool blanket from Midwest Canvas in March of 2023. It was used for about 2 months last season. I stored the cover on a reel in a shaded area over the mild Southern California winter. When I used it this spring, I found the pool cover had disintegrated. Most of the bubbles burst and fell off into the pool - the pool water tastes like plastic - and the cover itself is disintegrating and falling apart. I called warranty department and require a 12"x12" sample to be shipped to their factory in ******* along with a $125 check. They would evaluate my sample and ship a new product if they determine my claim was valid. I do not want a new blanket - I do not want another poor quality cover - I want a refund or a partial one. **************** was unhelpful. I asked if I could return to the pool supply store it was purchased. They said no, it must be returned to the manufacturer. This company is a fraud and its products are horrible quality. Do not buy from them.Initial Complaint

I purchased a winter cover from Midwest Canvas Corporation for $64.99 plus tax on 9/18/2021. I do have the receipt as well as the original warranty paper that came with it which is an 8 year warranty. I called to inquire about a refund because the cover is of such poor quality. The weave on the cover has pulled apart which allows water to leak up through, the seams have separated and the fabric has deteriorated. When I called, I was informed that they require $20 from me to honor this warranty for shipping out a replacement cover of the same type. The warranty states nothing of this. It lists a pro rated schedule depending on the age of the cover implying the cost would be reimbursed. I do not want a replacement cover of the same poor quality, only the refund as indicated on the warranty for the retail suggested price. The representative refused to do so, only insisted I pay them $20.Initial Complaint

I bought a solar cover from The Pool Factory. I used the cover for 4 months last year and the cover has ripped and the bubbles have broken. It is basically disinegrating. I called The Pool Factory and they told me it is a manufacturing issue and to call them. The gentleman at Midwest Canvas told me it had a 2-year warranty, then he changed it to a 1 year. I told him it was 3 years and I had it in writing. Then he proceeded to tell me they do not cover the pool cover falling apart! Well, what DO they cover??? They were no help and would not replace it or even give me a prorated amount!
