    These guys were amazing. I got a letter in January that my building insurance would be cancelled if I did not get a new roof in the next 2 months. **** and his guys did an excellent job and replaced both roofs and did some other work over 2 warm days in January. They were extremely professional and did great work!

    Second city is a disappointment.Not satisfied with work. I got work or remodeling done to my kitchen. Noticed that my new cabinets are coming aloose and I took pictures and sent to Second City. Also noticed that the awning over the kitchen sink is also not right. Representatives from Second City came out and seen exactly what the problem was where the awning was incorrect and the cabinets were coming aloose. Well any way today we got a call from Second City that it wasnt their fault. Today is January 9, 2025 . They came up with my house was settling. I didnt have the problem before they did the remodeling but I have it now. Of course the warranty is up and of course it always happens when the warranty is expired. I also got to finish paying for the shoddy work. I am a Senior Citizen and I have all my wits going for me. I will never ever use Second City again and I encourage everyone to stay on their toes when it comes to using any contractor who has slick talking salesmen. Never ever again will I use this Company again. They are such a Disappointment. After talking to them I ask to speak to the owner. No results which I actually did not expect to talk to him.

    Second City Roofing and Exteriors is sorry to hear about Ms. ******* displeasure from the work performed in her kitchen. This work was completed in April 2023 and paid in full at that time, when we completed the work nothing was mentioned of any follow up to be done. This project came with a one year labor warranty. We were notified by Ms. ****** mid-December 2024 saying she had concerns regarding loose kitchen cabinets and a valance above her kitchen sink. Upon our inspection there were no loose cabinets but a seam opening on two walls where the wall and ceiling meet, which we have caulked and now show no openings on the two walls. Customer does reside on a busy intersection where multiple 18 ******* trucks drive by. The home is approximately 60 years old and is a single story ranch and settling of home can be expected. Original contract stated there will be no valance installed. When work was about to be completed she then asked if we can install a valance because she thought it would be better to have one. Considering that she has been a multiple time customer of ours we then went ahead and purchased the material to provide her with a valance and we installed it free of charge for both labor and material. Now, approximately 18 months later she does not find it suitable and the project is out of warranty. However, Second City Roofing & Exteriors would still like to come to a satisfactory conclusion for both parties.

    Second City Construction did a complete tear-off and replacement of the roofs of my home and garage. Upon our meeting, ******************* provided copies of all state and city required licenses and insurance, as well as other industry-related credentials. He explained what would be done, presented samples of product, and prepared a detailed estimate. He was very professional - no high- pressure tactics.I also want to mention *****************************, who supervised the project. His roofing crew was prompt, worked diligently, and they did a beautiful job, as well as a meticulous clean-up afterward. I couldn't be more satisfied!

    This company didnt do what they promised me. For 4 hours of work charged me ****** dollars. This is a total ripoff. I asked for pictures to see the finish work. I need to be help with this problem.I am a senior citizen. No one came back out to inspect work done. Not this company again. And I will recoup some money in return of this problem.
