I have encountered challenges with CraftJack's service. Despite specifying a preference for asphalt roofing leads, 17 metal roof leads, priced at $29.50 each, were automatically sold to me, accumulating a total charge of $501.50. The reported account balance fluctuates inconsistently between $200 and $300. Efforts to reconcile this discrepancy have proven difficult due to unresponsive customer support. Credit requests through the application were denied, and when I contacted an account manager, they declined assistance citing the outstanding balance. Attempts to request a supervisor's intervention were unsuccessful. Furthermore, the company rejected my plea to delete payment information, and unauthorized charges are persistently attempted on my bank account. The account manager indicated a lack of management authority and shared that the company, now being acquired by Angis list, lacks the ability to address or rectify such issues. My primary objective is to have the balance cleared and the account deleted, with no interest in financial reimbursement. The specific dates and lead names associated with the improper charges will be detailed below, along with my account reference.Account will be under:***************************** -Alamo Roofing -********************* Leads that turned out to be metal roofing. ******* Maps satellite and street view can help you verify that these leads were indeed metal roofing.)********************* - Mon. I have an account with ********************** for 3 weeks. The first week went very well they provided leads for my job discreption however the second week they began to send me incorrect leads, I paid back abou t500$ order to receive credit again. After reading their policy it never states about a credit limit it just promises that any INCORRECT LEADS WILL BE credited. However when I call craftjack every single person I speak to states they have no authority to credit my account but their is also no higher up then them. This is extremely frustrating I have gotten about 6 good leads everything else has been incorrect, I have paid about 500$ in Leads and have nothing in return. I just would like to be credited the incorrect leads as promised. So i can return to angis leads or somewhere else.Initial Complaint

I have used CraftJack as the primary lead source for my company for about a year and a half. For over a year it worked great and I received what was advertised. For the past couple months, their leads that are promised to be legitimate have not been. Most of the leads I call won't pick up the phone or respond to voicemails or text messages, and the majority of the ones that do answer did not request a call from a contractor recently. I'd estimate that I've spent about $5,000 with CraftJack since the last purchased lead worked out for me. Additionally, whenever I had an issue or question for CraftJack, I used to get a response from them in the same business day. The account managers have stopped responding altogether.Initial Complaint

I signed up with CraftJack about 5-6 weeks ago and turned on leads/activated my profile about 3 weeks ago. I was very specific about the service area as well as what type of leads we wanted to receive. The first day we became active, our $1200 budget had been exhausted. Surprisingly nearly all the leads were either wrong information or for a service we were not providing on our profile. We disputed the bad leads accordingly. As other complaints have mentioned, after a certain number of disputes, their system automatically blocks the ability to request a credit back. Seeing no other option I emailed my contact, **********, at CraftJack and did not hear back. I ended up calling the customer service number and spoke to a representative who also tried to credit me back the bad leads. She was unable to and told me the system was not allowing her to do so. **** Z finally emailed me back and asked if I still needed to chat with someone, as he saw that I had called in. I said I did. I did not hear back. I emailed twice since then awaiting an answer from ****. I never heard back from anybody. Neither him nor phone support, regarding this issue. My request is that they refund me. I do not want any credits back. I simply want my money back and to not have to deal with them again.Initial Complaint

Craftjack is a contractor referral agency used to contract services of independent contractors on such things as handyman services. These services are used to help independent contractors grow their business in their selected area without spending a lot of money on advertising and marketing. Craftjack is an automated service which means it does not have an actual live person taking the calls and then connecting the caller to the right contractors. Most of the time the referrals are good, but they have a bogus referral rate of around 30%. These bogus referrals are usually because of the wrong information inputted by the customer or the wrong contractor is referred for the wrong business. Usually, this is compensated by refund of the incorrect fees. This time, I contacted Craftjack as my "lead" was based in another state. So obviously this would be counted as a "bogus lead" meaning, the lead is unattainable or unwinnable. The person I spoke with at Craftjack acknowledged that the lead was incorrect, yet told me that they could not refund the fee charged, even though the lead was in another state. This to me is theft. Craftjack has our (independent contractors) credit cards on file and can charge fees at any time. We, as independent contractors, do not have a choice in the fees that are charged by Craftjack. Again, this is theft. Craftjack did not have my permission to charge my card for this unattainable lead and I notified them of this. Yet, my card was still charged. THIS IS THEFT!Business response

1. Consumers dont ever answer phones or emails 2. Given jobs where the consumer doesnt own the building or are calling for someone else 3. The majority of leads we receive are for projects that I dont do. Why should I pay for a lead that Isnt my profession 4. All the leads that are bogus to me goes into a bank of leads waiting for a refund 5. I can only imagine the majority of contractors cant get a credit because the ratio of these are higher than good leads so they cant credit. What kind of business is that? Most of the leads we are given are no good. 6. So the way this company works is to make money for Craftjack and not usBusiness response
