I ordered a bat from the Slugger.com. The bat was in stock when I ordered it, got confirmation of the order and, most importantly, stopped looking for the bat in other locations. I called to check on the delivery date of the bat (after 48 hours) and was told, "there are no Atlas bats in stock and we will be cancelling your order". I corrected him and told him there are two sizes online right now. He looked and I was correct. Point being, it was in stock that day, the order was confirmed and my son and I stopped looking for the item. Our time was wasted and we do not have a bat for the upcoming competition season. There has to be a way to make this right.Business Response

I purchased a bat 2022 Demarini Voodoo Bat in Nov of 2021, that bat had known flaws with the cap that broke off. I submitted a claim to have it replaced in Aug of 2022. a voucher was sent purchase a different bat, a Louisville Slugger META 2022 that was sent and received in Sept. The bat had an issue where the cap became loose and unstable, I called customer service for ********************** who stated it needed to be sent in for review. After waiting two weeks, I called today to find out that the policy is only a one time warranty claim for the initial bat, not the new one. These are two totally different bats with structural issues. The policy is flawed and at this point I a have spent more time without a bat and at this point fighting for a useable bat for my son as his season starts. This bat is not even a year old-- I simply want a bat he can use-- not be told that it doesn't qualify due to the original bat purchase date. I purchased a Louisville slugger meta on 12/13/22 as a christmas present for my daughter. Over the course of about one month of just tee work it developed a rattle like so many others. I filed a claim online on the slugger site only to get denied because they could not find any record of the bat. I submitted a copy of my receipt from the dealer( which is local and trustworthy) provided photos of the bat and serial number. Bat came to me directly new in the wrapper. So now I have a bat that I don't know if it is safe and out ******, this isn't an isolated issue apparently, it is very apparent that this is a manufacturer defect because of the sheer volume of complaints. I just wanted to replace it with the same bat but guess they are tired of people complaining.Business Response

Unfortunately, we had to deny the warranty claim based no the following information. The invoice from the business the bat was purchased at provided by the consumer listed no contact information (address, phone number, email address) for Travel 2U Sports. A general ****** search as well as a ************** in the *******, ** area and neighboring cities found no business by that name. Furthermore, the consumer mentioned that the dealer is local and trustworthy. After searching the *******, **. Chamber of Commerce, Travel 2U Sports was not listed. Without the ability to verify either the business or invoice, we had not choice but to deny the warranty.

Purchase louisville slugger meta bat for my daughter for softball for $450.00 from dick's sporting goods, used bat for approximately two weeks had a thud sound when you shake the bat coming from barrel. Don't understand why bats cannot be returned to the place of purchase? They should be able to have someone trained to tell if it's worth sending back to louisville slugger and replace the bat immediately. Being a $450 bat she only has one bat and now does not have anything to use for who knows how many weeks, till it gets shipped back to Louisville they inspect it, then they send out a Voucher to Order another bat online, for them to ship it to get a bat and have no warranty on the new one. I purchased a custom LXT fast-itch bat order number SLGUSEN0016889. After six month of owning the bat, it broke and I sent it back to Slugger for a replacement. The replacement was approved and we received it around late November 2022. The new bat was not used until about 30 days ago. After 2 weeks of use there was a large rattling nose in the bat. Per our one year warranty policy, we issue a one time replacement. In this case, the original bat was purchased 11/2021 with the one time replacement being sent 10/2022. We're too far outside the original one year warranty period to consider replacing again. However, the consumer team supervisor will email the customer and include a discount code for the inconvenience.

I purchased for my daughter a 2022 model Meta softball bat, it broke. I was issued a credit for a new bat. I used this credit for another Meta to replace the original. Yesterday the replacement broke. I am rejecting this response because: to whom it may concern. The code they sent is invalid and was used in may. I had purchased a second Meta bat which I provided receipt for. I had to mail the first bay in and that is where the code is from. I purchased a second one hoping the issue wouldnt reoccur but it did. Louisville should have receipt of me using that code to purchase a LXT model bay which I still have. I am attempting to replace the 2nd Meta bat I purchased.

My son purchased a bat in January which broke within 6 weeks of purchase. Warranty was guaranteed for one full year. Bat was shipped back and received. Upon inspection it was confirmed that the bat was defective and replacement worthy. However, LS could not replace the bat since they underproduced the model. Note, this is a current year ********************************** prior model. Since they cannot replace I asked for a refund, which they will not honor. They cannot replace the same bat, will not refund money, so now have to accept a credit towards a bat that I do not want or have to wait until AFTER baseball season to receive a bat of the same model. I found a that my son was OK with and asked them to send that but they told me I needed to pay the difference. Please note, they dont have a highly rated bat at the price I paid, this bat is not as good as the one we purchased and this was a compromise. Since this bat was ********************************************************************************************** I asked to speak to a supervisor and they wouldnt transfer me but the wonderful customer service ***** ***** did follow through with a manager who would only offer 350 credit with no 2nd day air shipping. Seeing as how my sons first game is on Mon 4/3 I reluctantly agreed so that he could have a bat delivered on Fri 3/31 if I bought the bat that Wednesday and paid an additional $20 for second day air. Today is Saturday 4/1 and the bay hasnt arrived.wont get here until Monday 4/3 according to tracking info I feel entitled to a refund of the $20 for second day air and also want a refund for the additional $50 I was forced to pay for a lesser quality of bat since they COULD NOT replace the desired bat and would not provide a refunded amount.Business Response

On 9/26/2023, I purchased a Louisville Slugger Meta softball bat from Dicks Sporting goods for $449 + tax. This bat comes with a one year manufacturer warranty. Because it was off season, this bat was used for maybe fifteen at bats. In January, we noticed a loud rattle making this bat useless. I filled out the warranty claim on line and sent the bat back to Louisville Slugger. After two weeks, they notified me that the bat was bad and they would send out a new bat. This whole process took over three weeks. I recieved the replacement bat on February 9th but my daughter didnt use it until the beginning of March. She used it for two batting sessions and then noticed it had a rattle, again making this replacement bat useless. Louisville Slugger is telling me that they may not replace the bat. I paid $450 for a bat that was hardly used. I don't want another replacement bat, I would like my money refunded because Louisville Slugger was aware that there is a defect in this bat yet they continue to sell it. My daughters first game is in one week and she has no bat! Louisville Slugger should be held accountable for this.Business Response

Per the warranty team, we can only offer a refund if the bat was purchased directly from our website and is still new-in-wrapper, within 30 days of purchase. I purchased a new Louisville Slugger Atlas 33 in -3 bat for my high school age son from ****'s Sporting Goods.The bat broke within 2 weeks of use. Normally I would take the bat back to Dick's and have them replace the equipment but they have changed their return policy recently and I was told I needed to contact Louisville Slugger directly.Followed Louisville Slugger's warranty claim process and get an approval after sending multiple photos of the damaged bat.Shipped the bat back, it was reviewed by Louisville and approved to be replaced.Louisville didn't have the same bat to replace so I was asked to pick a different bat which I did.Now the bat is held up, so I'm told by a 10 day delay in their warehouse in *********. It's been well over 10 days since I've started my warranty claim When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told that one didn't exist...this kind of makes sense because of the lack of professionalism in their customer service department.I just told the latest customer service rep that I was going to call back after repeatedly asking for a supervisor and he said "good luck"To say this is the last bat that I will purchase from Louisville Slugger would be an understatement.I will be telling strangers not to purchase anything from Louisville Slugger.Horrible experience...horrible customer service and I might as well flushed the $300 I paid for the bat down the toilet.
