    My husband and I booked a train tour of *********** in 2019 for the summer of 2020. ******* was our point of contact for this trip and she was EXCELLENT! She answered question after question with much patience, always being very kind and efficient. Of course, COVID changed everything. Vacations By Rail allowed us to change our trip to the fall of 2021. However, the Delta variant was quickly spreading at that time, so we requested to change to the fall of 2022. Vacations By Rail was very accommodating! We were finally able to go on that much anticipated train tour and it was AWESOME! We are so grateful to Vacations By Rail for planning such a wonderful trip and for being so accommodating. Most of all, we appreciate *******. Her prompt replies, as well as her kindness and patience made planning the trip so much better. We would highly recommend ******* and Vacations By Rail for train travel.We are planning another trip for October **** and have been in contact with *******. Again, the service she has provided has been excellent. We have asked many questions and made some changes. ******* has been as kind, patient and efficient as ever, and we are looking forward to another wonderful trip - this time using their Independent tour.

    Vacations By Rail did a great job in setting up our train trip. Especially helpful was our contact person, ********************* was very friendly, always made you feel comfortable, and was very efficient and quick in always answering our questions. She never got upset or made us feel small when she had to reexplain things to us. We were fortunate to have experienced her professionalism.

    Vacations By Rail seems to be unable to receive emails - My friend and travel partner has made repeated attempts to contact Vacations By Rail. When I contacted VBR, the customer service rep asked me if I would be the point of contact. I responded that the best way to plan a trip and to avoid miscommunications, would be to include both of us when making travel arrangements. Then the service rep said that emails from my travel partner, are not being received by Vacations by Rail. On 1/12/24, VBR service rep said she had reported the problem twice to the IT department" which is in ******. She said in her email that "we will likely hear back from them on Monday." Ten days have passed. We've heard nothing from anyone until today 1/22/24. My travel partner received a call today and an email from a different service rep, saying that it would cost $350 to stay an extra night. My concern is - what happened with this worldwide company's inability to receive emails from my travel partner? I talked to her today and told her that I don't want to plan travel with this company due to the fact that no one has gotten back to us regarding the inability to receive emails. Limited communication just won't work for me when planning a trip and spending thousands of dollars."

    We were looking for a trip to our desired destination and found a trip organizer - ****************. I contacted and ************************** responded and explained pros and cons of the tour very professionally and diligently. Based on his information, ***** weighed all the options he gave to us and decided to take one of the trips. It was well informed to me and easy to make a decision and booked our trip through him. So far the whole process went very smoothly and ***************** has shown professionalism and expertise. He addressed all of my queries whenever I called him.     This is my first time to book with ****************. It came highly recommended by my client. I was so fortunate to have an understanding booking agent, ******* to answer all my queries. She was very professional and efficient and knowledgeable. As promised, after booking, the confirmation will be sent in an hour. True to her words, I did received it.
