I was at a store near the west side of Chicago and on my way out the stores parking lot bullets were flying in the direction of my car , so my car was hit by another vehicle and then the gunfire and I managed to escape with my life just a couple bullet holes in my vehicle (11-03-23) I made a report and towed my car to **** n Western to (wheels of Chicago) where I purchased the vehicle Told them what happened and asked them to fix my car through my warranty (11-04-23) and told them it also needs an oil change and a detailed cleaning plus the windows and bullet holes fixed from the shooting. I paid the $1,000 deductible for my service visit and they kept my car for 3 weeks (11-04-23 until 11-27-23) and fixed it when I got my car back they barely cleaned the glass out and didnt give me an oil change or didnt fix my driver wheel (passenger front tire) so, as Im driving to work the next morning my car shuts off on the interstate while semi trucks were right behind me nearly missing me .I called an tow truck and got it towed back to (Wheels of Chicago) cause I didnt understand why my car cut off , they told me I needed an engine after I only had my car less the *************************************************************************************************** the window that says the vehicle is past the mileage of the oil change. So now they want me to pay out of pocket $4,303.32 for a used engine (for my 2014 Jeep Compass) . The manger (Al ) told me the service department never knew the vehicle needed ****** change so my warranty does not cover any engine repairs because they claimed I didnt inform them of the oil change while the car was in theyre possession. But I told them multiple times before I got my car back about the oil change even when I picked my car up I asked them again but no one there seems to remember. This is such an inconvenience because I have to miss days of work and doctor visits with my 3 year old son and they still wants me to pay a car note
