We hired DGB to re-roof ******* space and remedy a leak we had in our flat roof. Their proposal, that we accepted, listed a solution that was not followed/implemented when they arrived to perform the work. We trusted their word that this was a better solution. DGB charged us the same $ amount for the project even though the solution was far less labor intensive and cheaper materials were used. They used nails to secure the insulation, against their own advice in the proposal, and are now popping through roofing and causing leaks. They state because i had another roofer repair the 3 or 4 spots while looking at the roof, our 5 year warranty is null and void. We will continue to have this problem, as there are 30+? nails that have yet to pop through our roof. We are asking DGB to refund our monies so we may hire a different company to correct their work. It is now officially outside of their warranty....which they declined to honor when i reached out within the warranty period. PS. The roof leaked immediately after their installation, and we had them back to repair and replace drywall on ceiling. I have numerous emails from 2018 when this occurred.

I am rejecting this response because:The business is failing to acknowledge the 'Bait and Switch' that resulted in our roof leaking. I took their advice at the time of service. The nails they used popped up through the roof they installed and allowed water into our ceiling. Had DGB executed their ORIGINAL proposal, the solution i accepted with my signature, this may have been resolved. You state the *** was just a cap over the quoted material.....short of tearing off your roof, i have no way to validate. Bottom line.....Your roof leaked within the 5 year workmanship warranty. The measures taken to stop the active leak is by no means a final solution, or compromises anything you did(or failed to do) These are small pieces of roofing material to stop the leaks. I have attached pictures of our repairs. again....just enough to stop the water from entering our home.

DGB Construction has not now, or ever been a "bait and switch" company and have a thriving business based on referrals from our customers. We do a large amount of repeat business when our past clients have moved to a new place. We have shown our proof of the timeline with the backup documentation. Our communications began again after your roofing friend did additional work almost 5 years later. What happened to your roof over the 5 years following the initial work was not related to our work. This is where we are leaving it. We will not be called out to repair work done by another roofer because you did not immediately call us.
