Prairie farms has the worst quality products available.milk tastes burnt and cream looks like cottage cheese. The sad thing is they have a facility within 15 miles and the quality is still awful. I refuse to buy their garbage.

I buy prairie farms when I run out of milk and not going to the grocery store anytime soon, I normally buy the store brand milk. Every single time I buy it, it is at least a week before expire and it tastes sour! I ran out of milk yesterday, stopped by the family dollar because kroger is 40 minutes from my house, and got a half gallon of vitamin D whole milk expires next week. This time I had it in my coffee and my 4 yo had it in his cereal and we both got sick!!!! Stomach ache and nausea, idk what they're doing in their factory or what they're feeding their cows, but I will never buy any of their products again. This really should be investigated.

Prairie Farms milk has a chemical taste. Bought it twice from 2 stores with plenty of time before expiration date and had same bad taste. Family Dollar gave me another gallon...same bad taste...no refund....said "throw it out" !

I buy milk (2%) from my local grocery store here in town. They changed brands a while back. I first noticed because the container was a different shape, then I tasted it, I almost spit it out! It was more than a week from its "best by" date and it tasted soured! I spoke to the manager of the local grocery store and she said they get complaints every week and they have been working to change brands once again.

What in the heck is in this milk??? I just drank a glass of it from a carton that has been refrigerated and unopened, and it is two days before the "Best By" date. And I darn near vomited. It was obviously spoiled, when I dumped out what was left, there were chunks in it, and the most hideous taste, almost like sour milk mixed with vinegar or some chemical. Somebody needs to look into this company.

This milk is very questionable. The sell by date is alot longer then the sell by dates of milk years ago. It makes one think what kind of chemicals did they put in this to extend the sell by date and is this chemical safe to consume.

The Ultra Pasteurized 2% doesn't taste like regular pasteurized milk at all.. even though it has a much longer shelf life.. if you don't consume it quickly after opening it begins to get clumps.. very disturbing and disgusting when you drink a clump.. yuck..
