Dear, as I stated in my latter, which I attached to this complaint, at 11.23.2022 I received service, which by insurance was approved by code *****. For some reason, Elk Grove Imaging Associates SC bill my insurance with code *****. After while I received bill from ELK Grove Imaging to pay. First, I called them and I received cold shoulder answers. So, I sent them letter with all forms of approval and referral, and asked them to start the reconsideration appeal process with my insurance and send me new bill that will include correct code. I never heard from them. Instead I received another bill in which they threated me to send the matter to collection agency. So, I paid my bill, which I shouldn't be charged in first place. I also did survey, which Elk Grove Imaging send to me via online with negative review. Two day later I received phone call from ******************* (sorry if I did wrong spelling). She left me a message to call back which I did twice. She never call me back. Please help!Business response

I have reviewed the documents that were sent regarding the status of this matter. Elk Grove Imaging Associates is an Out Of Network Provider at ************************** for many insurance companies. The radiology group is a new entity that began operating on September 1, 2022. ********* is in the process of credentialing with various insurance companies, but the companies are slow to respond, if they respond at all. Yet, we have no choice but to provide medical services, even if we are out of network. It is not our intention to remain out of network, but until we are fully credentialed with the various carriers including BCBS **, ******************* Humana, Aetna, Cigna and others, this will be a regular event as we deliver care on a daily basis.
We are fully credentialed with ********* ******** ********* The Ascension CIN/ACO and Imagine Health. We are waiting for additional options as the carriers respond to our requests.
Our billing is handled through **************. Their number is ************. They can assist with billing issues in cases like this. I have forwarded all the information issued in this complaint to ***** for further review and discussion.
My apologies for the aggravation. ************* companies are in business to make money for themselves, not pay the claims of their customers.

I am rejecting this response because this business is seeking to blame everyone except themselves for their failure to be a reputable company. They have not made any effort to reopen my case with the insurance provider in good faith, despite knowing full well that they made a mistake by incorrectly coding the procedure. It is truly disappointing that they prioritize money and their business over the fundamental rights of customers to be treated fairly.
