My business reluctantly had our 20th year celebration at Glenwood Roller Rink on October 20h, 2023. We had 1 raffle for all of our guests attending the celebration and also other raffles for our customers only. The manager of Glenwood Roller Rink, Ms. * got in the 1 raffle for all guests attending and her number was called but she didn't hear her number called. Someone told Ms. * shortly after we began another raffle that she missed her number and it was too late because we we had moved on to another raffle. Ms. * retaliated for not receiving the raffle prize by stopping our celebration right in the middle of the other raffles and made all of our guests leave before the celebration was over. She said our time was up and we had to leave now. We had rented the rink from 4pm to 8pm but Ms. * put us out before 8pm. We talked to her manager but nothing was done. How are businesses able to do any mean thing they like to and get away with it?

This skating rink ***** completely! I took my 10 year old son there to learn to skate. My son is very shy and had never roller-skated before. As his mom, I know best how he learns. We would show up on Sat morning and pay $20. I would have him walk around the common area of the rink to get use to his skates. An employee approaches us and tells us that my son has to go where the kids are. Well, the kids are all around the rink. Then she says he cannot go on the skating rink where the adults are skating. Im like, he is scared to skate! Hes not going on there either. Even though other kids are clearly skating on the rink she said my child could not be on. I took him on the kiddie rink where other kids were practicing. This same lady comes out of no where saying we cannot be on that rink because its a dance floor. I said fine. Even though other kids have clearly been skating on it. After that she continues to Harass us for no reason. I demand my money back, not because no instructors are in yet but because this women is picking on my 10 year old child and scaring him. All kids dont learn alike. My son was just beginning yo warm up to skating and this woman clearly has issues with kids. This skating rink should re-evaluate who they hire to manage the rink. She had my kid terrified & thinking he did something wrong for just trying to learn to skate! I demanded a refund which she tried to not give me at first! This is the worst skating rink to go to. Its outdated, raggedy, the staff is rude and not friendly at all. Even though its a skating rink advertising skating ******s for kids and adults at the same time, they are not kid friendly. I left there embarrassed and my kid was scared and disappointed. His Saturday skate ****** was ruin by a insensitive adult who thought more of her ego and position than a scared little boy trying to find courage to learn to rollerskate for the first time. ***************** Roller Rink should be ashamed of itself!! Remodel, get new staff!
