I booked Mini Moves on short notice and they were able to fit me in. The move price was reasonable as there was no minimum amount of time needed ie some movers charge a minimum of three hours. I was charged for an hour of their travel time and then amount of time required to move a glass table top from the exterior of my building to my condo. The two young men showed up on time, were efficient, courteous and helpful. Thank you.

Convenient, professional, efficient and on time. I had just 4 items to move from the ******* to the ***************** and didn't want to fly one way, rent a moving ***, **** work, pay for motel etc. I believe the cost was worth it. My only issue was their trying to slip in the extra cost for insurance when I said I didn't want it. They had highlighted that line to be signed when picking up the items, but I had warned my family member to sign for option two.MiniMoves, Inc.

Moving is filled with such uncertainty. I was very apprehensive as we were moving a large shipment of fragile material (ceramic art and phonograph records) but 100% of our items arrived intact. The subcontractors on both ends were professional, efficient and friendly. You do have to understand that there will be a delay window for delivery, in our case ten days, but this was disclosed from the outset. So we have no complaints and highly recommend them.MiniMoves, Inc.

As you know, moving is stressful. I was originally told on the date of my scheduled move to reserve the elevator from 9-1. I did so. I received a call two days before telling me that they would be there by 11am. I let them know that I only had the elevator until 1pm, as requested by mini movers and that another tenant had it booked for later. I was told they could get it done within 2 hours. I updated the number of boxes I had packed and was then called by the representative the day of, who told me due to the update of items, 2 hours was not doable and had to have the elevator reserved until 3om. When I reminded them that they originally told me it was scheduled from 9-1, the representative blamed me because of the amount of items I had. Her solution was to want me to reschedule for 4 days later as if my move across country can easily be rescheduled. Thankfully, my landlord was able to work something out regarding the elevators. By the way, the movers were done in 2.5 hours, so my stuff was hardly the issue. Scheduling on their end was the issue. Beware, they charge by the number of items not the amount of time it takes. I would have not bothered with this review, but just today a claim was denied by their insurance company on a chair whose arm was broken by the movers packing it and was kept from me. They claimed broken prior to move, which it absolutely was not. This is why I bought the full insurance coverage.MiniMoves, Inc.

MiniMoves did a great job for me. **** J was excellent at getting my schedule sorted out with full service where they would wrap and blanket your furniture. Nothing was broken or damaged. They were very fast, and careful. Thank you to the movers, ***** ****** and ****. They are an absolute excellent team. Our original moving company went bust, fortunately ************************* who worked for that company stepped in to help now working for mini moves. Researched ways to move an antique 3 seat porch glider from VA to ** and after talking with a number of moving companies decided on MiniMoves. It was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. The glider would be difficult to transport assembled because its heavy metal construction rocks when moved or carried any distance. Therefore, prior to MiniMoves arrival I dissembled it into its 3 component pieces, the glider seat, the glider base, and the seat support straps. The movers did an exceptional job of wrapping and protecting the individual components in heavy movers blankets and then securing them together and wrapping them as one unit for transport. Pickup and delivery was accomplished on dates specified in the contract by extremely competent and professional individuals. I was very pleased with the process and the results.
