    Our ice maker stopped working on our Kenmore Elite refrigerator, so I ordered the new part and scheduled an appointment with the technician for installation. He arrived and checked out our unit and removed the old and installed the new. We did not make any ice that night with the new unit so he returned the next day to remove the unit. He could not find any reason why it was not working but he did suggest that the electronics were in the door and that would be a very expensive repair. He also suggested having another person look at the unit/door. I asked if we would be billed and was told for one trip only since they had not been successful. Now I find that the initial tech charged $284 before doing anything and I have been receiving bills for 3 installment payments for an additional $78 each, There is no mailing address send with billing but a threat of bad credit if not paid within 45 days from a collection agency. I have attempted to contact an electronic call center that appears to have no humans working. I talked with someone in ***** who agreed that this has been paid and they will not send further billing. I would prefer something in writing. I feel that we over paid from the first travel visit of $75 to restocking and *** services not authorized by me when I dropped the Ice maker off for return at ***>

    The Sears Home Warranty Protection agreement is a complete scam! Since Sears went bankrupt and shut its stores in the **** (*********, **), their service has become downright unprofessional and appalling. My family has been loyal Sears customers for over 50 years, but I will NEVER recommend them again.Heres why:WASHER NIGHTMARE Years ago, my washer was declared unrepairable. It took weeks of back-and-forth for a replacement that broke in three months. After constant breakdowns, delays, and no-shows from technicians, the washer sat for months filled with mildew and stinking waterdisgusting and dangerous, especially with kids aged 2-7 in my ******* September 2024, the washer finally blew up, broke itself internally, and was again declared unrepairable. Sears promised a replacement in 5 days but dragged it out for OVER A MONTH. We lived with that mildew-filled washer until October 2024 when they grudgingly replaced it after endless calls and hours wasted fighting their incompetent team.DRYER DISASTER My dryer breaks multiple times a year. This year, one issue took TWO MONTHS to fix because the tech didnt replace a fuse he had with him! Another breakdown required four missed appointments and over 40 wasted hours. Two days after it was "fixed," it broke again.HORRIBLE SERVICE **************** is useless. Supervisors and managers never call back as promised, tier 1 agents are powerless, and the routing and replacement teams are a joke. Their technicians are careless and inefficient.Sears has become a disgrace. They dont care about their customers, leaving families like mine to deal with unsanitary, unsafe, and unlivable conditions. The once-reputable company is now a full-blown *********** NOT BUY THE SEARS HOME WARRANTY AGREEMENT. Its all lies, delays, and neglect. Sears has gone from being a trusted name to an absolute disaster. Their service is a broken promise, and their warranty is a ripoff.

    I called Sears to send a technician out to look at my ** Cooktop. It works great, but is "beeping" off and on throughout the day. I sent info in for a pre-diagnosis and the model number of my Stovetop. When the Tech arrived, it was apparent that no pre-diagnosis had been done. He had no idea what he was there for. After explaining the problem, he looked up information on his phone and told me there isn't anything to trouble shoot a beeping problem. He then texted another tech to see if he/she knew of any "fix" in which they did not. He never opened up the unit to see if anything looked wrong with the wirings and such. He then told me he had no idea how to fix it but could just start replacing things, in which he then told me were not even available anymore. So no estimate was given, just told I would have to buy a new stovetop. Then he charged me $104. I just don't understand how they feel I can be charged when he had no idea what the problem even was. This is not a professional...... Will never trust in Sears Home Repair again. ***** customer service also, no one you can talk to on the phone in regards to the issue.

    Like everyone else.. Ordered parts stuck in processing and never actually shipped product... looking up the name it says it's affiliated with sears but I question otherwise with the non existent service & business tactics.. scamming people is clear by the reviews.. and all over the internet.

    Had an appointment scheduled on line. Received a text that day to reschedule. This happened 4 different times. Had trouble contacted a live person - kept referring g me to automated system. When I finally reached a person I was informed they have no record of a work order even though I had confirmations of all scheduled appointments. Since the window for each appointment was 8 to 5 that adds up to 4 wasted ******* BETTER!

    Ordered part to dishwasher, wrong part was sent , the tine row was a 45-degree angle on the part I received, on website picture they were straight. I ordered the part online that matched the picture of my part. The 2 parts that come up as matching my dishwasher online DO NOT match the part I needed. Called customer service and they claim because I did not order the part for my dishwasher (wrong part on the picture), I have to pay $9.95 in shipping. Customer Services was super rude, Danny and supervisor Mark hang up on us and did not want to acknowledge that they sent the wrong part and own their mistake, why should I pay for shipping when they sent the wrong part. If I did order the wrong part it was due to your website having incorrect picture of items online. I understand there can be mix up with parts, but the rudeness and lack of English comprehension is unacceptable. This was the third phone call we had made to your customer service to try and remedy this issue and now apparently there is a nasty note on our file. It is no wonder Kenmore/Sears is no longer....such a shame, they were top of the line.

    i have received 2 bills from Sears--I am covered with Choice Warranty, they called Sears NOT me and they said NOT to PAY this they took care of it back in August 2024. I am sending this form because any number I find to call are not getting me any where. HOPEFULLY this will do the trick because i am really getting exaperated about this. looking below on Customer Reviews this company really sucks!!!!***** ******** ****************************************** December 27, 2024

    The SEARS HOME SERVICES division of TRANSFORMCO serving **************, **:The scope of the original diagnosis changed from one part needed to two parts needed, thus affecting the total cost of initial repairs. The parts ordered arrived broken. The next scheduled repair date was cancelled then rescheduled for nearly two weeks later. I had to change that to three days sooner because we had already made plans to be away for the holidays. The follow-up service required the replacement of a third part that, if initially checked, may have been the root cause of the problem. Therefore I do not trust the original diagnosis for which I had already paid in full. Overall, going through Sears Home Maintenance was a mistake and was unsatisfactory. After todays service the original problem has not been resolved and our GE dryer does not work at all. I have instructed my bank to dispute the charge for the full amount. I have also called the local service technician/contractor to ask him to return with urgency to complete the job.

    This is the worst customer care ********************** I have ever encountered. We started the process of getting our freezer repaired on December 3, 2024. I waited all afternoon and shortly before 5:00 pm the technician called to cancel. No reason given. We rescheduled for the next week, December 10 and he showed up. However, in order to diagnose the problem, he used a video to see how to diagnose the problem (my husband and I had previously done the same using You Tube) and came to the same verdict: We needed a new control panel (can't remember the technical term.) The part was ordered and charged $837.13 We were rescheduled for December 18. The same technician as we had on the previous 2 occasions. We were scheduled to have the technician arrive between 1:30 & 3:00 pm. He did not arrive until 5:00 pm. When he arrived he did not have the necessary part that had supposedly been ordered. He thought the appointment was to evaluate the same problem, as that is what was on the service call. He then rescheduled our service, without consulting me for the soonest available appointment on December 31, 2024. He told me I would have to cancel it myself if I did not want to keep it. When I looked at my service email, it said the repair was complete. I called today 12/23/24 to get a total refund. They "agreed" and said I should get confirmation of this in an email (which i haven't yet received) and that my refund would post in 2-3 business days. We shall see! I don't know how this company remains in business. Also, this is the first time I've ever reported anyone or any company to the BBB. I wish I had previously read the other reviews prior to putting myself through this horrible experience. It's Christmas and my freezer is on the *****!!!!! Find another repair service!!!!!!!!!

    I would give 0 stars if possible. I called to schedule an appointment for a garage door repair. I was given a date and technician arrival window between 1 and 5pm. On the day of the appointment I received a phone call at 4:22pm, less than 40 minutes prior to the end of the scheduling window. The representative informed me that they did not have a technician available for the scheduled appointment and the next available date would be two weeks away. It is unacceptable and poor customer service to have a client waste their valuable time waiting for a repairman to arrive only to be told at the last minute they will not honor the appointment. The disposition of the representative and the supervisor I requested to speak to was apathetic as if they could care less about the inconvenience. This is not at all the type of service I expect given that Sears has been so reliable in the past.
