Sears warranty service. Birch of Contact The ice maker was leaking last August; contacted Sears Homes Services. Created a work order. Parts were ordered and finally on hand after 3 months. Sears has scheduled numerous appointments to my home..after receiving many confirmations emails and texts, promising a technician would call or text when on the way..they have canceled every appointment and rescheduled for other appointment during the day of the appointment without any explanation. This has happened November, December 24, January and February 2025. I would appreciate assistance with resolving this issue. Refrigerator is under warranty and I have called for assistance many times or used the chats has not accomplished any positive actions on their part.

I had a issue with the buttons on my dishwasher not functioning they were not able to find the part to fix the dishwasher so they gave me the option to get a new one from them or receive a check and purchase a new one. They explained if I purchased one on my own that it would not be covered on my warranty, so I opted for the new one rather than the check, bad move by me. When they came to install the new one they claimed I had a non existent leak under my sink which there was none. I touched the mat that was under my sink and there was no water at all on my hands and the so called watermarks they said was on the back of my sink were not watermarks at all. So they said they could not install it and to make matters worse they claimed that they also were not responsible for hauling away the old one. What company doesn't haul away the old machine when they agreed to replace the non working item. Then the representative on the phone stated if I want it removed I would have to pay them out of pocket, due to a restocking fee of 35%, unacceptable. When it was run under Sears I never had an issue but now this company is nothing short of a disaster just milking insurers out of their money for as long as they can. The technicians are horrible and the companies they use are even worse, i honestly believe they try to find any excuse to not service their customers anymore.

Several problems:We were referred to them by ** as an authorized service provider to repair our dryer. They came to our home and charged us the diagnostic fee. Since we declined service, we paid the fee. We asked for a full technical report with a quote for parts and labor for the needed repair. We got nothing, not even a receipt for payment. We asked how much it would be for the repair, and they said "about a few hundred dollars". We could not commit to the repair without having at least a written quote/estimate, understanding that the final payment may be a bit different. We only got the receipt of payment for the diagnostic fee, including a quote for the part replacement (not including labor) after calling them last week since we are still having the same issue. We asked for the full diagnostic report from the technician, and Sears Home Services said they cannot provide since the case was closed several months ago. To tell me that you do not keep written records from every appointment is mind-blowing.Upon calling ** again to get more info, they recommended other authorized service providers. Sears Home Services didn't even come up on the list. I wish this had been the case the first time so we could have avoided this hassle and the extra money spent.I still want the full diagnostic report with a quote/estimate for parts and labor for the suggested repair. And I want a refund for the diagnosis since they will not give us the information we requested.

The Sears technician promised me a diagnostic report to send to my appliance insurance group, when he could not fix my oven. The diagnostic cost $129.00 and I never received the diagnostic email. When I called the Sears Repair Services to request the diagnostic repirt they said it would take 3-4 business days. It has been 10 and still no repirt has been emailed. Now, when I call I cant get througbb he their phone menu. I get an AI voice that says she cant help me with diagnostic reports.

We recently contacted Sears Air Duct Cleaning to get an estimate for cleaning the air ducts in our home. The technician who came did an inspection of our HVAC and vents. The quoted price to provide this service was $1,569. The advertisement we received stated a price for the number of vents we have as being $460. Not only was this a bait and switch issue, but the technician took our system humidifier apart to inspect, and did not return the filter into the unit. He said the filter was not necessary and only caused a mold build-up. Later that afternoon our utility room and the basement floor flooded due to the condensation not flowing through the filter as intended, and into the condensation pump. It took us several hours, nine towels, and four fans to dry the floor. It was a mess! The plank flooring still has water seeping up when you walk on it. The humidifier fan housing was also broken by the technician in his attempt to take it apart. I had to use tape to hold the fan housing in place in the humidifier in order for it to work.Sears was contacted immediately when we discovered the problem. They have been no help whatsoever, even after four phone calls and numerous messages. This is a bad business with unacceptable customer service.

Absolutely a scamINCOMPETENT REPAIR TECHS. So they sent a ********** that completely misdiagnosed the issue with my refrigerator. They almost got me to pay $1800 for a new refrigerator instead of the $200 part. I even told the ********** his diagnosis didnt seem to make sense. Rather than take that information and reassess, he doubled down, there was a Freon leak. Absolutely no Freon leak. The second ********** came and fix the issue for $200 and the refrigerator is working fine. Now they are expecting me to pay for a diagnosis fee that was completely wrong. And they sent my account to collections.
