My fiance and I took interests in a "Pomsky". The associate who helped initially was very helpful! I agreed to put a $100 deposit on the puppy and would either pay the full amount when I picked her up or I would put a larger amount down just to solidify the puppy would be coming home with us. I brought my other dog in to meet her, and they got along well, but I noticed their dog foaming at the mouth and throwing up. I inquired and was told it was a common condition for puppies who "eat too fast". I got home and my current dog began foaming at the mouth and throwing up. I got a call the next day from the manager, *******, asking when I'd be in to pick up my puppy. After explaining my dog being sick, I told her I needed to take him to MY vet and have him checked out because he didn't start throwing up until he met their puppy. She told me the puppy probably ate her chicken too fast, that she had never heard of that before then, & it didn't even sound right. Almost implying I was lying. Well...I called the store today to inform them that my fiance would be in to put more money down to hold the puppy as discussed previously and the manager, ***************************, decided to cut me off and tell me how they'd go ahead and get the puppy cleaned up and that I would need to come in with the full amount and stressed in CASH! I just figured it was *********************** deal with it in person. My fiance called to confirm the amount he needed to bring in, & she proceeded to say how it's unfortunate and not her fault that him and his fiancee (me) aren't on the same page, but if we don't show up TODAY to pay for the puppy in FULL we lose our deposit AND she'd sell the dog to someone else. So then my fiance began asking if we come in and pay in full and we find out the dog is sick...she cut him off and began saying we lose our deposit. He asked for her first and last name. She said, "Sure. First name '*******', last name 'none of your concern'." *************************** has a nasty disposition!

This so called complaint is fictional and of course omits many facts.
1, On November 28th Chanel **** wanted to purchase a beautiful, perfect little Pomsky puppy. For some reason couldn't pay for her that day. As a cursity, we aloud ************ to put down a small deposit to hold and bind her purchase. Under our agreement, that deposit to bind a transaction is non refundable, and she would pickup and pay remaining balance on or before December 3rd. ************ has a receipt confirmation of this. Why she didn't share this with you, I'm sure you can come to your own conclusion.
2, On Wednesday December 1st, we reached out to ************ and again, she confirmed she'd be in on Thursday evening the 2nd, or Friday afternoon the 3rd, to pay her balance. ************ came in on the evening of the 2nd, and was here for almost an hour playing with her puppy. And again confirmed she'd be in tomorrow after work.
3, Friday, December 3rd, ************ called us in the morning again stating she'd be here around 5pm to pickup her puppy and pay the balance due. This way we can have her groomed and ready to go.
4, Around 2pm, **************** boyfriend called and brought to our attention that he was no longer interested in **************** purchase. It became obvious something happened between ************ and her boyfriend. What, we'll probably never know, but ************ made us believe that she/him/them didn't have money to complete her purchase.
5, As ************ was informed on November 28th. Once a deposit is put down to hold a puppy it is NONREFUNDABLE. So we confirm with them, that they're sure BEFORE putting deposit down. Reason being, it prevents anyone else from purchasing. We do not, and have never aloud a customer to treat a puppy purchase like a layaway.
For these reasons, ************ is not entitled, and WILL NOT receive a refund.
Over our 39 years in business, we've never had a bad **** from the BBB, and it's very important to us, keeping it that way.
      Thanks.

I am rejecting this response because:
Unfortunately, due to the misspellings it was quite hard to comprehend the point of ***************************** response. What I did gather is that shes not paid enough to comment on other peoples relationships and also far from enough to mention anyone elses income and affordability. Lets be clear, I dont have enough money to pay for a sickly dog. I dont think anyone has $4000 to just throw away on a puppy that might die shortly after purchase. Neptunes Pet Store has several reviews on ************* and BBB proving my suspicion to be true. How about instead of filing a complaint on BBB and ruining your already tainted reputation I hand-write a letter to **** *************** about how your store is scamming customers into buying sickly dogs and how youve falsified documents for those same puppys shot records along with providing the videos of the pomsky, you almost tricked me into purchasing, throwing up, foaming at the mouth and practically passing out afterwards? Lets not forget the rotisserie chicken from Jewels you guys think is a good idea to feed puppies! The funny part about this, is you know your company is trash considering that Ive read quite a few reviews from YOU on your own store! I guess you got tired of receiving 1 star reviews so you had to leave some of your own 5 star reviews in order to offset the REAL reviews from REAL customers! You sell sick dogs and lie saying theyre from breeders. You allow your customers to play with your puppies in your bathroom. All your puppies smell like urine because you dont take care of them. Their hair is matted and they eat salami, rotisserie chicken, and their own f**** Your prices are inflated to include services you and your counterpart KNOW youre not going to honor. You take deposits and not give them back because you know when people leave and do their research on your pet storetheyre never coming back! Oh, and pleasedont worry about the $100 refund. Ill get it. But for now, seeing as though this is your reputation and not mine on the line, you need that $100 more than I do. Neptunes record has been spotless MAYBE back in the 90s. As of the 20th century, people have cellphones and can read and articulate themselves, unlike you. So Im not the only person who knows the type of business youre running! But thanks for getting back to me! Ill make sure I include your comment when I forward all the documentary evidence to the Attorney Generals office!
      Sincerely,

      Chanel ****

************ still taking nonsense. And as you read, didn't address any of the facts. Please consider this case closed from my end, and I still stand by my original statement.
      Thanks again,

I am rejecting this response because:

*************************** has not corrected the issue. Her concern about things that have nothing to do with her job, two kids and fiance is baffling to me. Selling sick dogs is her priority I see. Hopefully, she doesnt sell dogs to anyone near ******* St, because its bad enough youre selling them in ****** and you dont even stand by your animals. It would be even worst selling them to people you might actually have to see again and be confronted by. Its pretty sickening actually. Its fine, the case can be closed. Im satisfied with the knowledge Ive gained.

      Sincerely,

      Chanel ****
