Echo 58 volt batteries won't charge after minimal use. Both the 2 amp and 4 amp batteries I have won't charge anymore.I use them for the 58v lawn mower.Business response

I purchased a full line of Echo 58v products at ********** Lawn Mower, Blower, String Trimmer, Plus Tree Pole Chainsaw Trimmer and a Chainsaw. And now batteries are weak not holding charge and the ************ has discontinued making and servicing them I have four chargers with four 4ah batteries and one 2ah battery I don't think it's fair to discontinue a line of equipment after people spend hundreds even thousands of dollars and then can't get them serviced or repaired....Please help!! I like to keep my lawn and yard kept up !Business response

I own two 58 Volt battery operated products manufactured by ECHO Products. They are of excellent quality and I enjoy using them. I purchased the products because Echo has a good reputation in the industry for quality products. My problem is with the 58 Volt 4 amp hour battery it takes to operate the product. My battery needs to be replaced and it appears that ECHO has discontinued manufacturing the battery because it has created a new product with a 56 volt battery. My products are only two years old and are now useless. Echo should support their products and I am having trouble with having to throw away an expensive product that runs well because I can't buy a battery. What can the company do to fix the problem?Business response

I own 4 of the tools in the 58v cordless electric line from ****. I bought my first tool which was the blower in 2018. In the summer of 2019 I bought the trimmer, chainsaw, and mower as well as the side discharge accessory. All of the tools I bought were combo kits with the battery and charger. I spent well over $1000 on all of the tools. I was very pleased with my purchases until spring of 2023 when two of my batteries stopped working. By the end of summer 2023 I was down to one working battery out of four. The tools in the 58v line from **** were more expensive than the cordless electric tools from other brands. I was willing to spend the extra money since I've owned a gas blower and trimmer from them and was never disappointed by those. The tools themselves are still in great working order. I can't afford to spend over $200 each for new batteries. I'm so disappointed with my experience with the 58v line from ****. They should voluntarily resolve these issues.Business response

My 58V string trimmer is having issues with the trigger not engaging, and I was looking to replace. Unfortunately the entire 58V line of tools has been discontinued, which is very disappointing. I am heavily invested in this line, with a string trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower, two batteries, and two chargers.Unfortunately I will now need to invest in a new line of tools and batteries due to this lineup being discontinued, and once the batteries inevitably stop working and cannot be replaced, all of these tools will no longer be functional.Business response

I have an Echo 58v mower, edge trimmer, blower, and shrub trimmer. The 58v batteries have been discontinued to run these 4 tools and my batteries will no longer hold a charge. I would like Echo to replace my tools with a supported product line with new batteries.Business response

Very disappointed about them discontinuing the 58v battery!!! My 2AH just quit on my and now I cant get a replacement!! Not happy with this company currently. I have many echo tools as well. Way to leave me high and dry!Business response

I have the Echo mower, trimmer and blower. These are excellent products that now after nearly 9 years work like new. They are durable and reliable. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the 58v batteries. When I purchased the products I received 4 batteries which I used regularly during the spring/summer months. I am now down to one battery that works and the charge life on that final battery is diminishing. I have been so pleased with these tools that I would be happy to replace the batteries on my own but I cannot as these are no longer available. This entire scenario is very disappointing to me. I would hate to be forced to replace these perfectly operating tools. I have very little confidence in purchasing more Echo tools as a result of this experience. Thanks.Business response

I've been a loyal ECHO customer for years with gas equipment and was really excited when the 58v tools came out. I invested in the ECHO 58V Lawnmower and 2- 4Ah batteries and they started to die about two years in. I managed to get by, but now the batteries can barely mow the lawn. I can't get batteries anywhere in ******. I'm extremely disappointed.I don't remember when I bought the lawnmower, but now I wish I had bought from a company that would support their product for years. I bought from ECHO because I thought you would support this product for years, like you had with the gas equipment.Thank you.Business response

this company made a battery ***************************************************************************************************************************************************** all there equipment out a large investment this shold be a class action it is so bad the goverment should step in and home depo that was the rep should be resonable for damages.Business response
