*************************** has been a long term lessor of VW cars/suvs she had VW leases for 9 consecutive years. When returnung her VW Tiguan lease with only 31k miles used of 45k miles allotted. We tried to schedule a date to inspect prior to turning in, but nothing was available due to covid. After turning we got a notice for a fee of $778.00 which was the $350 turn in fee and additional charge for 2 new tires. I disputed this because the tires still had an allotted amount of tread left. In early May, I spoke with a representative that agreed to lower the bill by 30% ($544.00), But, upon receiving the May invoice dated 5/21/2021 it was still $778.00. I called today 6/14 to make a payment but the representative would only accept the full amount and that it was reported to collections. Needless to say this has been a terrible experience that no long term customer should have to be put through.Recently after multiple attempts to get a written notice waiving the illegitimate tire tread charges, VW reported it on Patricias credit report as an unpaid collections. No lease payments were missed or late in over 9 years and this all But guarantees we will never spend a $ on a VW again unless this is rectified and removed from credit report. We will pay the standard turn fee but the tread wear charge. This has been going on for over 3 years.

I am rejecting this response because:  the issue was not resolved.  They are refusing to correct the charge as the return fee should only be $350.00.  They never gave an opportunity to do a pre-turn inspection which is required prior to lease turn in, they blamed it on staffing due to covid.  They upon turn in put on an unauthorized charge for 2 tires.  Bring the turn in amount to $778.00.  We disputed this as the vehicle tread wear was fine and the vehicle only had ****** miles on it out of an allotted *********.  We emailed the ********************* the ceo at the time and was told that we would get a bill for a lesser amount.  Never got the bill and amount due was not reflected anywhere.  We never had a late payment in over 9 years with VW.  They just reported this over 3.5 year dispute to collections for an illegal billing practice that should have been resolved years ago.  They need to rectify this asap or legal action will be taking.  Thank you.

      Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:  the amount owed is incorrect and should only be $350.  Not $778.  VW is making no effort to correct this issue.

While checking my monthly bill statement, I noticed my bill was $50 more than it normally is. I called Audi financial and spoke to one of the representatives who informed me it was a parking violation which was the difference in charges. I went onto my account and found there was no parking infractions however, there was a toll charge. I called back to Audi financial and spoke to someone else who told me the toll charge was the reason for the $51.03. The toll charge however, was only for $2.40. I paid the toll charge to Massachusetts toll company. When I called back for a third time to Audi financial I was then told by another representative the $51.03 difference was due to a tax issue. The representative told me the accounting division noted a sales tax charge. When I asked the representative about this, she was unable to tell me anything about the charge or the amount of money it was based on or why the charge was on my account. No sale ever took place. I informed the representative I extended my lease after the 36 months was over for another six months for a total of 42 months. When I spoke to Audi on the phone when I was increasing my lease term, I was told by the representative my payments would not increase one ***** per month. The representative informed me absolutely nothing would change other than the length of the lease, which was now 42 months instead of 36. The representative I was speaking with on the phone the third time about the sales tax charge was never able to give me any information or any amount of money the tax was being put on or what the tax was for. There is no reason I should be paying any more money per month for my payment because I have a verbal confirmation on the phone from Audi financial and an email from Audi financial both stating my payments should not have changed whatsoever once I extended my Lease. Audi financial refuses to help me any further on the matter therefore, I am reaching out to the Better Business Bureau for help.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that I was mislead by the Audi dealership when I bought the car and by the Audi representative when I extended the lease. At no point was I informed there was a sales tax credit on my Audi from my trade in and it lasted 36 months. The representative I dealt with to extend my lease never explained this to me and told me I would have no price increase. Having been mislead and lied to, I have no choice but to pay the sales tax on my car for the remainder of the time I wish to lease this vehicle. I will never lease another Audi and I will be the educator for anyone I know who wishes to lease one in the future since Audi cant do their job properly.

      Sincerely,

I am trying to trade my leased 2020 Jetta from VW North for a 2024 Tesla Model 3. Although my lease contract with VW Credit clearly states that my residual value at the end of my lease is $9,909.00, VW North told Tesla that my payoff is $17,485.90. When I went to VW North to ask why they were telling ***** that my payoff was $8,000.00 plus more than what the lease contract listed, they denied telling ***** that information. All I ask is that VW North honor the residual value listed on the contract so I can trade my Jetta in for another car that is not a VW because I dont ever want to do business with that dealership. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by seating down with them and may e trading in my car with them for another lease, they tried to tell me that my lease payment would be $219 on a lease. It is common knowledge that on a lease payment, it is the payment plus tax on the payment. The payment given to me was $219 but with tax it would be $335. When I asked why it would be $335 when $219 plus 6% tax was only $232.14, they tried to tell me that it was because tags, registration and dealer fees, that is a blatant lie! Because on a lease it is only the payment plus tax on that payment. All these people did was lie to me over and over again and try to make it seem like I didnt know what I was talking about. They are not allowing to finance my residual with my own bank or pay cash for it, which apparently is legal in the state of *******, which goes against all fair practices to allow consumers to get the best deal they can. This practice allows dealerships to charge whatever interest rate they desire regardless of your credit score. How is that a fair practice. I for example have a 850 credit score yet Vw North tries to tell me that 8 percent was the best rate they could get me, when my bank offered me 6.75 percent .All I ask is they honor what my lease contract shows, which is a residual value of $9,909 and not $17k plus.

Audi Financial Services mistakenly tagged my name as being associated with **** when I attempted to trade in my lease with two different dealerships. I'd like to clarify that I have never listed any personal Audi vehicle on the Turo website for rental purposes. It seems as though they were reluctant to offer me another lease because I wanted to break my current lease early due to having met the mileage limit.I submitted two cases to Audi of America, hoping they could assist in removing this incorrect tag, but they informed me that they were unable to help because Audi Financial Services operates as a separate entity. While the beginning of my lease experience was smooth and enjoyable, trying to exit this lease has been an absolute nightmare, leaving me no choice but to terminate the lease altogether. In light of this situation, I strongly advise avoiding Audi Financial Services. This experience has been a tough ****** learned and the tag need to be removed ASAP!

I turned in my leased vehicle over 12 weeks ago. I was told that my account would be closed and I would receive a final invoice for the disposition fee within 2-12 weeks. I called Audi/VW Credit and now they told me that they don't know how much longer it will take and there is no estimate or anything they can do to help. They said they had to wait to sell my car at auction, but I asked them several times if I could turn my vehicle in prior to lease expiration and I was told it was fine and they did not disclose any additional time frames. I have not owned this vehicle for over 3 months, I do not want it on my credit any longer and I want my account closed and paid. My VIN is ***************** and my account number with Audi is **********. This should be removed off my credit report because this event happened in the middle of a qualified disaster in 2020. Vw Credit *** have my account listed as a ********************** delinquency stating that i was 29 days late on my last payment which my car was stolen and it was stated to them. Money was low I was dealing with being laid off from my job like many others due to covid. Prior to my car being stolen and Covid Ive always been responsible with my credit with 100% on time payments. This credit delinquency affected my credit tremendously and it isnt a reflection of what type of borrower I am. Creditors that I had a good relationships with dropped me and its almost impossible to get credit line ***reases.

On February 24, 2024, I returned my leased 2021 Audi Q5 to the Calabasas dealership, the same location where I originally purchased the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, I was informed by the dealership staff that my excess mileage and disposition fee would be waived. However, I ended up receiving a bill for $1,271.36, indicating charges for these fees. I am requesting that the $888.93 that I paid to cover these charges be refunded as that is what I was promised by the dealership and it should be honored.
