This happened during Covid-19. I am an educator and lost my job. I had difficulty making car payments, but still made them as much as I could. The incident took place 2 weeks after I made a $200 payment. The company repossessed my car! I had no knowledge either written or verbal they were going to do this. I scrambled and borrowed money from a friend the next day to ************* the money to them to take care of this. I had to retrieve the car from the impound lot which ended up stealing an item from inside the car. I have had 3 other car loans with this company, all paid on time with no problems, and for them to do this during a pandemic and to a loyal customer is unforgivable! I was mortified and devastated they did this to me! They claimed they sent a letter about this to me, which is false as I finally received that letter 2 months later! As soon as more money came in, I traded the car in for another one, and sold it! I will never do business with VW credit ever again. They are fraudulent and unprofessional in every manner and in every way. Their behavior is inexcusable. If this is how they treat a loyal customer for years and years, Id hate to see how they treat non- customers. To add insult to injury, they reported this repo on my credit and will not remove it, even though the account has been paid and closed and I no longer own that vehicle! My bank statements prove I made multiple payments to them during that time, which I can provide if need be, and the recorded phone calls stating my hardship and distress to them as well.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: VW Credit has NOT spoken to me multiple times about this issue. They repossessed my vehicle during Covid 19 when protections were put into place. They were receiving payments from me ( in fact 2 weeks before the repossession even). I had no communication from them either written or verbal from them of this repossession action. In fact, I received a letter from them 2 months later telling me of their actions to repossess. I have a witness to when this letter arrived. They reported me to the credit bureau, even though I no longer own this vehicle, so technically the information is inaccurate now, and they refuse to remove the report on the credit bureau. I was able to get a newer car with about the same payments as this vehicle, and have had NO problems with this new company who approved me and financed me. VW Credit has displayed unprofessional business practices as they took advantage of a global pandemic situation and to someone in the education field who was hit the hardest. To do this, especially to a loyal customer who had 2 loans with them in the past and paid those off with no problems with them in the past! Id hate to see how they treat a brand new customer, if they treat their old loyal customers like this. You needed to know what they have done here, so all can see how they operate their business under the fair and ethical business practices.

I am rejecting this response because:
They have not exhausted all efforts in this matter. I took care of the issue with them almost immediately during that time. The repossession remains on my credit for 7 years, and they refuse to remove the remark. Further, they did this behavior during a global pandemic and completely took advantage of the situation, despite the fact I was paying them what I could at the time. This is evidence of their fair and ethical business practices shown very clear here.

Hello and thank you so much for reading my message, I wanted to please reach out because Ive had consistent trouble trying to sell my Volkswagen to a few dealerships.The dealerships are generally interested and try to reach out to Volkswagen to receive dealer buyout quotes however VW has made it extremely difficult to deal with and receive the necessary quotes to complete this transaction.Carmax how long with ******* and Vroom have all attempted to receive a quote so they can purchase the vehicle however each Volkswagen representative claims that there are different policies in place to follow and then provided different quotes which seem extremely in accurate and conflict of information between one another.Quotes range from as low as $21k for the Buy Out which is what it was told over the phone when we request a quote to upwards of $26K which is insane as that was the **** we had paid, it had it have gone down at least $3K due to the year ownership and payments made.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
No attempt was made to help resolve my issue instead its typical response or Volkswagen to just point the finger at one another and not try to help out. How many divisions of Volkswagen are there? Typical lazy a** response, ***** couldnt even attempt to Reach someone for me to help rectify this issue instead they are just way too busy dealing with every other c*** like scamming people and destroying the planet. Take this f****** car off my hands before I drive it into your ******* dealership and you see me in the news

I had a VW Tiguan that was 26 months into a 36 month lease. I requested a payoff quote on 8/18/21 and sent a cashiers check recorded delivery to VW Credit. The check was received on 8/24/21. I called VW Credit on 8/31/21 to ask where was the title, they informed me it would take between ***** days to get the title sent.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, although I have now received 1 out of 3 of the documents promised, I am assured the others will be delivered shortly.While this has resolved my case, and this case can be closed, I don't think it would have been expedited if I hadn't raised this complaint, and offer this as a concern to other VW Credit customers who find themselves in the same situation.VW Credits performance was unacceptable and I will never be using them again.

On July 14, 2021 I mailed a cashiers check, a completed mileage statement, and a completed **** of sale to Audi Financial services *************************************************** to buy our 2018 Audi A3 when the lease ended. The post office verified that they received it on July 17, 2021. I waited a month or so to receive my title. I got nothing. I called them to verify that my check and papers were received. They said they were but that there was a sticky note over my signature and they could not read it. I asked them to take the sticky note off. They can't. its automated they said. They said they would mail me a new for, I never received it. They send a letter teling me to turn the car in or buy it.My bank has verified that they cashed my check. I paid off my lease (they received the money on July 30th, 2021). I included the last payment (August) along with the payoff quote. I have called three different times and talked with an agent. All three times I was told they had my payment and they would federal express the title to me. I was told by the agent to cancel my automatic payment for August but that when I spoke with them on August 16th (and the payment was being taken out on the 18th) that the stop payment would not go through since it takes 5 business days to process. Well it stopped and now they are saying my payment is past due and they will report me and ding my credit. THEY HAVE THE CHECK FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE *** (plus payment for August).Business response

Ok. The company in my opinion has no right to ask for your social security number. If you call their number it asks for it right away? **************** (Audi corporate). That makes them very fishy. My credit has been ruined by these people and Ive been searching vigorously for work and am finding out that them reporting me is a big part of the problem. These people are disgusting. They will ruin you in a heartbeat.Business response
