Our 2024 VW GTI S has been paid in full as of 6/18/2024 but VW credit has not successfully alerted the ****************** *** to remove the electronic lien. I have called VW Credit several times and was told that the request was submitted and/or resubmitted. I called the Florida *** on 8/5/2024 and was told that they had not received a payoff from VW credit. There is still a lien on the car. I have also checked the title numerous times on the *** website, which always shows that there is an electronic lien on the car.

VW Credit has reported to the credit bureaus incorrect information and have not changed it.They reported a balance outstanding of $3,590 of which has been paid. This has affected my credit score significantly and has prevented me from securing credit for other business ventures until this has been corrected.

I have a car for which I procured a loan from VW Credit. I am trying to sell the car and for the same requested a dealer payoff quote by call their customer care number.1. The options on the main menu ask you that if you want a retail/balloon payoff quote press a number and then give them the account details. That did not work for me and wasted 24 hours. They should be clear in providing their automated options.2. I called their service representatives and asked them for the same, they said it can only be faxed to the dealership. I gave them the fax number but even after 48 hours the dealership did not receive the payoff quote. I had to call them up 5 times and wait approximately 15 minutes each time to talk to a representative and still I was not able to get them to send the payoff quote to the dealership.I made sure that the dealership's fax number was correct and the machine was operational. A dealer's offer on buying a car is usually good for only 7 days. Due to the time component this has put me under a lot stress if I will be able to sell the car in time or not.

Under the terms of my lease agreement, I purchased my vehicle outright from VW. VW Credit accepted payment for the remaining balance in March 2024. Upon receipt and acceptance of paperwork and payment, VW had an obligation to provide me with the title to the vehicle within a reasonable amount of time, which they have failed to do. 3+ months later, I am still without a title to the vehicle I purchased, which means it cannot be registered and driven. I have called VW Credit multiple times over the past 3 months and have been unable to get clear and satisfactory answers to my questions regarding when I will receive my title.

On 6/1/2024, my wife and I leased a 2024 ******************** Atlas from King ********************* I deposited $7119.97 for the lease. King ******************** has deposited the check. The paperwork that we signed is attached. A couple days after we had leased the car, the dealership contacted me saying that they had miscalculated taxes on the paperwork that we had signed. I did not think much of it, however, they tried to raise my monthly payment on the new paperwork to an amount that I had not previously agreed to. I called King ** to discuss. They agreed to keep my monthly payment the same as what we had agreed to, and to reduce the **** on the car to account for the "taxes" that they misstated. To that end, they said they would send us new paperwork to sign via overnight mail. However, that paperwork never arrived. I asked the business for a tracking number, which they could not provide. Ever since, they have ignored all my calls. Concurrently, near the end of June, I realized that I could not set up an online payment account to pay my lease. I called VW Credit (the finance company for the lease), and they said that King ** had never established my account or provided my information, and that I would need to work through this with the dealership. After this, my level of concern increased significantly because King ******************** will not return my calls. Moreover, my payment is due on Sunday 6/30/24, and it is now the last business day of the month, and I am concerned I will be late on my lease payment because I do not have an account set up, which will in turn impact my credit report. Why is King ********************: 1) lying to its customers 2) avoiding calls from customers 3) deceiving customers with bait+switch tactics after deals are made. All I would like to do is know when and how I can make my car payment to VW Credit as per our agreement. I have a vehicle with no knowledge as to how to pay, and no one to respond to me. I do not want my credit report impacted by these shenanigans. Shameful!

*************************** has been a long term lessor of VW cars/suvs she had VW leases for 9 consecutive years. When returnung her VW Tiguan lease with only 31k miles used of 45k miles allotted. We tried to schedule a date to inspect prior to turning in, but nothing was available due to covid. After turning we got a notice for a fee of $778.00 which was the $350 turn in fee and additional charge for 2 new tires. I disputed this because the tires still had an allotted amount of tread left. In early May, I spoke with a representative that agreed to lower the bill by 30% ($544.00), But, upon receiving the May invoice dated 5/21/2021 it was still $778.00. I called today 6/14 to make a payment but the representative would only accept the full amount and that it was reported to collections. Needless to say this has been a terrible experience that no long term customer should have to be put through.Recently after multiple attempts to get a written notice waiving the illegitimate tire tread charges, VW reported it on Patricias credit report as an unpaid collections. No lease payments were missed or late in over 9 years and this all But guarantees we will never spend a $ on a VW again unless this is rectified and removed from credit report. We will pay the standard turn fee but the tread wear charge. This has been going on for over 3 years.

I am rejecting this response because:  the issue was not resolved.  They are refusing to correct the charge as the return fee should only be $350.00.  They never gave an opportunity to do a pre-turn inspection which is required prior to lease turn in, they blamed it on staffing due to covid.  They upon turn in put on an unauthorized charge for 2 tires.  Bring the turn in amount to $778.00.  We disputed this as the vehicle tread wear was fine and the vehicle only had ****** miles on it out of an allotted *********.  We emailed the ********************* the ceo at the time and was told that we would get a bill for a lesser amount.  Never got the bill and amount due was not reflected anywhere.  We never had a late payment in over 9 years with VW.  They just reported this over 3.5 year dispute to collections for an illegal billing practice that should have been resolved years ago.  They need to rectify this asap or legal action will be taking.  Thank you.

      Sincerely,

This is regarding the Turn-in Settlement invoice from Audi Financial Services originally dated in April 30, 2024. There are two charges from them toward two tires replacement, which is total at $400. It says front two tires are wore and need to be replaced. I don't think this should be charged. Standard all season tires are normally good for 5-7 years or 50,000-70,000 mileage. My Lease term is 3 years only. The total mileage is around ****** when I returned the car (per lease agreement, the allowable milage is ****** total). In 3 years lease period, the car has been serviced by the Audi Dealer in *******, **. That means the car is maintained as scheduled. Also, there is manufacture warranty from the wire provider. That means Audi can claim the warranty because the two tiles are within the period and milage while I was charged. I have called Audi financial department several times. They're willing to waive one tile charge. But I believe the two tires charges @$400 should be removed from the bill. I asked them to report this case to upper level manger and call me back. Up to now, there is no call and respond from them except they sending me another bill with same amount as original. There is no any fee waived or adjusted as they mentioned and offered by phone.

While checking my monthly bill statement, I noticed my bill was $50 more than it normally is. I called Audi financial and spoke to one of the representatives who informed me it was a parking violation which was the difference in charges. I went onto my account and found there was no parking infractions however, there was a toll charge. I called back to Audi financial and spoke to someone else who told me the toll charge was the reason for the $51.03. The toll charge however, was only for $2.40. I paid the toll charge to Massachusetts toll company. When I called back for a third time to Audi financial I was then told by another representative the $51.03 difference was due to a tax issue. The representative told me the accounting division noted a sales tax charge. When I asked the representative about this, she was unable to tell me anything about the charge or the amount of money it was based on or why the charge was on my account. No sale ever took place. I informed the representative I extended my lease after the 36 months was over for another six months for a total of 42 months. When I spoke to Audi on the phone when I was increasing my lease term, I was told by the representative my payments would not increase one ***** per month. The representative informed me absolutely nothing would change other than the length of the lease, which was now 42 months instead of 36. The representative I was speaking with on the phone the third time about the sales tax charge was never able to give me any information or any amount of money the tax was being put on or what the tax was for. There is no reason I should be paying any more money per month for my payment because I have a verbal confirmation on the phone from Audi financial and an email from Audi financial both stating my payments should not have changed whatsoever once I extended my Lease. Audi financial refuses to help me any further on the matter therefore, I am reaching out to the Better Business Bureau for help.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that I was mislead by the Audi dealership when I bought the car and by the Audi representative when I extended the lease. At no point was I informed there was a sales tax credit on my Audi from my trade in and it lasted 36 months. The representative I dealt with to extend my lease never explained this to me and told me I would have no price increase. Having been mislead and lied to, I have no choice but to pay the sales tax on my car for the remainder of the time I wish to lease this vehicle. I will never lease another Audi and I will be the educator for anyone I know who wishes to lease one in the future since Audi cant do their job properly.

      Sincerely,
