      I placed and order online with LTD Commodities on 12/01/21 at 1:04pm CST. Pricing appeared to be great, but found you can't alter/change/cancel anything. I called immediately after placing the order (1:07pm CST) to try and add an item I had forgotten to put in my cart before checking out and redeem a free shipping coupon I had inadvertently forgotten to enter, and they informed me I had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before the system would allow my order to show up on their end. Further stating that I would have to call back at that time. I immediately called back after hanging up and they were able to retrieve my order; however, since it had advanced to the "processing" phase from the "pending" phase, the system would not allow any changes and I could not cancel the order. They wanted me to place a new item order online for the item I forgot, including paying the shipping for this item. Once all items were received , I was told to call back after receiving my order and they would credit the shipping. I did not place the additional order, and will attempt to get my shipping costs refunded once I receive the order I did place, but feel like this was simply a ploy to get me off the phone and do not feel I will ever see my shipping costs refunded. This was the first time ordering from this company and will NOT be ordering again. This company appears extremely unethical and should be investigated.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      It is my belief that your company has set up a plan to 100% absolutely mislead and trick your customers.  I would have liked my shipping charges refunded, but was not holding my breath based on the way I felt I was being lied to on the phone.  My original phone call was placed within MINUTES of placing my order, for which I was told that I would have to call back within 30 min to 1 hour before your customer service would be able to see my order on their end.  I felt this was a LIE, since I hung up and immediately called back and spoke to someone within 5 additional minutes that was able to see my order (this was no more than 10 minutes).  I felt that it was the intent of the customer service rep to delay my issue until the order changed from "pending" to "processing", the point at which your company claims they can't make any changes.  I further believe your company is training employees to do this.  When they were able to see my order they told me, as you stated, it could not be changed, but that I could call back once I received my items and have shipping refunded to me for the order.  Additionally, if I would just place an additional order for the items I had forgotten to put in my cart before placing the order, paying the shipping on the new order, they would BOTH be refunded to me after receiving the product.  YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ASSURED ME I WOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE THE SHIPPING REFUNDED AFTER RECEIVING THE ***** AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE NOTING THE ACCOUNT AS SUCH.  Based on the response provided above, a refund is not and never was an option....which, again, makes me believe you are training your employees to mislead and lie to the customers...saying anything to get them off the phone.  I put in this complaint with the BBB because I hoped to receive a refund on the shipping, but also wanted to warn other people about your unethical and immoral business practices, which intentionally mislead and are deceitful.  I'm not surprised by your unwillingness to refund shipping, even though I qualified for the "free shipping" coupon code plastered all over your website, emails I receive daily, and catalogs I receive.  At this point I don't even want the shipping refunded, and have chalked this up to a ****** learned.  I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU ALL AGAIN.

      Thursday, 11/25/21 11:50 pm ******* time Re: previous complaint versus same LTD Commodities and unfair practice(s), I was told via their response to the BBB and accepted by me was "magazine states $750 credit limit, ***** (me) has a $500 limit." Fine. So 2 orders, one for $189, second for $102 total $291, leaving $209 in credit...looks simple enough, BUT HERE WE GO AGAIN. Just tried placing phone order (because their website says no credit available !!) for a rug and batteries, with a promo code of "25GIFTS"...25% off and free shipping..my order was only $78...FAR FROM MY AVAILABLE CREDIT OF $209...YET girl on phone says "cannot process for you." I hung up and pass the ball to you, please.

      November 17th had 3 transaction go pending to *** for the same about *****, I called them 4 times said they can't find transactions. My call today 11/22 my call was dropped with no return call. Called back was told supervisor would call, no phone call. PayPal has this pending 3 times for *****. Discover has it pending 3 times for *****. My card to about over the limit, I need those funds as family is flying in for Thanksgiving! No one will resolve this, I have been on the phone for hours. No one will take responsibility!

      I have placed some 12 orders with LTD Commodities; they have a **********, **********, ** and ********** addresses. I recently received a catalog with a "$750 CREDIT FOR YOU (ME)." I placed an online order for $180.00, far short of supposed credit line. I then attempted on 11/11/21 to place a $75 order (now $255 total) again well short of my credit line they provided; order would not go through, saying, "We cannot process."I called, can't understand the Packistani's answering and hung up...help, please.

      I received four items from **** three of which I did order the fourth one I did not order. The items were received 10/25/2021 and I called 10/27/21 to let them know I did not order the reindeer #*********** and I needed a return label to send it back, I spoke to Mics she was very kind and assured me she would sent the return label.10/29/21 I tried to use another of the items I received, rechargeable glue gun # ***-2116131 and it did not work, so again I called *** I spoke to ***** I informed her that the glue gun did not work so I needed return labels for both the glue gun and the reindeer. ***** apologized that I did not receive the first return label and she would send both. 11/3/21 didn't receive either labels, I spoke with ****** who promised to send the labels I also cancelled the rest of the items I had on back order. 11/5/21 I spoke with Mics again this time I told her in addition to emailing, to send regular mail. As of this date I have not received any return labels .Order #**********.

      This is ongoing and not resolved as of 11/3/21 -I placed an order with *** on 10/27/2021 that amounted to $1412.12 and I went through AFFIRM to pay for it. I thought all was well with that order but I received an email from AFFIRM saying I needed to pay $37.39 more to *** and just to pay them directly. I called *** to first try to understand why they were needing more (literally no one could give me the reason) and then I was given a run around of different amounts I still owed on the order ?!? No one knew what they were doing! I finally was transferred to someone at the main campus who was a bit better and understood everything I was saying and so I gave her my debit card information to pay for the $37.39 just to get done but I ended up getting charged $******* plus the $37.39 that was to come out of my account. Well I was told they didn't know what happened but the ******* charge should be gone by Tuesday but its still there plus when looking at my account this morning I have 3 more charges of $10.69, $27.81 and $258.19!!!!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR SYSTEM? This was NEVER authorized through my debit card and should have all been with affirm. I can't even find out how to take out my debit card from your system! You have very underhanded ways and now I am having to figure this out on my own. By the way, at AFFIRM it shows my loan is active with *** so at present I am being charged for the same items TWICE. By the way, just now my call was conveniently dropped when I was waiting to talk with a supervisor.

      Yesterday, 11/01/2021, I purchased a lighted Nativity Scene picture online with LTD Commodities for a total of $21.62 and $22.00 was deducted from my account by them. I have called them at ************** three times today. Twice, I was hung up on as soon as I explained about more money being taken out of my account than what the charge was. The third time I asked for a manager and was told that the manager would have to call me back. My confirmation# ************* Order# **********.

      My wife made a purchase on this website for some christmas gifts, and best I can tell is that we were autoenrolled into some program. No matter what the rep who has been commenting on here says, there was nothing explicit explaining this program. Why would anyone expect an online membership to some cheap merchandise retailer? Anyway, we did not scrub our cc **** as well as we should have, and 10 months later we questioned what this charge was to find out it is some useless membership program. We have started fraud reporting to our cc and seek full restitution from this unscrupulous vendor. Anyone else reading this complaint, stay away.

      On 8/11/21 I emailed **************** at ********************** (also doing business as Lakeside Collections) concerning the inability to stop receiving emails from them, as the "Unsubscribe" link on both of their websites is invalid; it does not link to any preferences site, it only brings up their main website again. On 9/15/21 I again emailed **************** as no action had been taken. I was assured this problem was being elevated to their **************** Team for resolution. As of today, 10/25/21, I am still receiving their unwanted emails. The "unsubscribe" link on their websites is still inactive and apparently **************** has not taken any action on this issue. Please contact this company (and their affiliates) to remove my email address from their files. Thank you.

       Contingent upon the successful deletion of my accounts from their records, I will accept the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  As indicated in their reply, this process could take up to 14 days; as of today 11/02/21, I am still receiving unwanted emails from them.  After this 14 day waiting period, provided all unwanted emails from them have ceased, I will find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
