I bought a camper from the *********, ** location. When reviewing the extended warranty and choose to get it and pay for it upfront cash while financing the rest. A few weeks later after reading reviews I canceled. Then was told I wouldnt get the money back they were going to instead put it on the loan. I paid for the warranty upfront on top of my $15,000.00 down payment. Very disgusted with their fraudulent misrepresentation of the contract.Review from Jefferey G

On August 13,2020 my wife and I purchased a new 2023 Holiday Rambler from Camping World located at ***************************** . During the purchase process we were offered and purchased an extended 6 year warrantee for $5,995.00. Within a year of the purchase, there were minor issues with the *** We had the repairs completed at another Camping World located *******, ** . That location was closer to where we lived and only a 1hr travel vs 2hrs to *********************. All items were repaired and should have been factory warrantee items. My wife and I recently traded in that RV for a 2023 Georgetown 34M at Camping World located at ********, **. We inquired about the warrantee we purchased from ********************* and were told from the finance manager, the policy we purchased in ********************* would be prorated. He said it would be best to wait a few weeks before filing for the refund, because by that time our loan from M&T Bank would be paid off and the company would send the check straight to us. At the time of the trade in, we purchased an additional policy for the new Georgetown. After a month of the trade in, I contacted the Uxbridge dealership and was told the finance manager does not work there anymore. I spoke to the new manager and after multiple calls and emails, they told me the refund had to be processed by the original dealership in *********************. Several calls and emails later, the paperwork was finally filed. I received and email with a form to sign stating the Customer Contract Info stating we would receive $2,265.57 after a $50.00 cancellation fee.I called and emailed the West ******** Dealership a few days ago and received a phone call from Camping Worlds **************** today stating there would be no refund because the amount of money due was used for previous warrantee work. That is an outright lie. There is no way anything repaired on that camper was past the original manufacture warrantee.Review from Jessica C

Terrible business. I called to sell my RV and they wanted me to tow it in for inspection. I didnt want to tow it and asked if they can do an inspection on my premise. They said they can but its frowned upon and scheduled it 5 days out, so I agreed to bring it in since I wanted to sell it faster. After bringing it in, one of their employees popped my truck tire while parking my RV in the inspection zone. I asked them if I will be compensated for it and they said yes it will be offset in the offer. After the inspection, they denied buying my RV saying the frame is bent. They wouldnt take it, yet Ive gotten 3 other offers on my *** If their standard for RV condition is so high, they shouldnt get the customer to lug their Rv to their shop, especially when their parking lot is FULL OF NAILS. Second, their employee parked my RV and was responsible for popping the tire on their premise. Refused to take responsibility after refusing the *** When I tried to reason with them, they were full of lies. One manager tried to lie that they dont offer mobile inspections when I literally had one scheduled. I wasted almost 4 hours on this trip and out over $150.Review from Jimmy W

We traded Campers our used Forest River heritage ********************* in on a new forest river grey wolf . After we had our camper delivered to them and waiting to finish the deal they changed the offer for our trade in from $16500 to $6000 and claimed they found things wrong with the camper that they werent told about which was a lie we even showed them pictures ! Note $10500 different offer . Our opinion it was because we are an older retired couple and they tried to take advantage of us . We paid $500 down and $275 to get it moved and still will have to hire someone to take it back waiting on down payment they refused to reimburse our expense for moving camper .Review from Lauren T

Camping World of ********** is solely only worried about sales of the campers, when warranty/service is needed it's a total different atmosphere. Had our camper out and on the 2nd trip the awning light stopped working, the screen in the door continuously kept coming out of the track, the door is unlevel and will not close (camper is level both times) the awning bolts are backing out after being towed and there is a soft spot in the floor. Contacted camping world and had made an appointment for the camper to be reviewed with the a service member and when we was in the middle of my claim she had left us to go do a walk through with regarding a new sale. it's now been three weeks and 7 calls/attempts to reach the service ***** regarding the outcome if the factory warranty is going to cover the mentioned items. The most recent message was left on 7/17/24 and I left a message for a call back on 7/18/2024 and neither my wife nor myself can get a returned call. To my opinion this is totally unacceptable regarding the defects discovered and not getting return calls regarding.Review from Bayard M

Helpfulness and kindness is how things went at camping world until we made a purchase! I could go on for days but I won't. I will just try to give a summary. We purchased a camper 4 months ago and on our first trip one of our campers wheels passed us on the highway!! Yes it completely sheared off the hub leaving no way to attach a spare tire. This happen because lugnuts were not titened properly. This camper left there lot as an accident waiting to happen. Finally, dealing with the service department and getting our camper back has been problematic and frustrating. Very little information is communicated to us. Going sometimes days with no communication or update. Our camper arrived at the service department on 6/31/2024 today is 07/12/2024.With no information about us receiving our camper back. I would think twice about becoming a customer with ********************!Review from Stephanie B

I normally dont make mistakes like this but I was in a rush to get out of my friends home and my son was over the moon with the idea of having our own home, needless to say I have never been so unhappy with such a bad service deal and purchase. First I was pushed into making the deal and being overwhelmed I should have never, I take part of the blame but they should have heard my concerns. They also said they held the listing for two weeks when I told them a week before to take us off of it. And the last thing pick up day after being shown how the ** works I was to go talk to the finacial guy. Who looking back never went over the numbers with me all he did was upsell me on a warranty package. I was told earlier that there was about $3,000 on backend stuff that needed to happen but when I looked closer to the numbers (not shown to me and explained) there was another $3,000 added. I understand that part of this was my fault but needless to say I am so unhappy ?? with what should be a joyful purchase. Now we are selling to end all this negativity and go travel in our car doing DoorDash around the states to save money for what we should have been sold this time. Im more than disappointed in myself and Camping World but I will get over it, in Gods eyes I was not the one who did wrong to another. Hopefully it made me stronger, still happy they have a F here. Ill be sure to let everyone know on my ******* channel while filming our travels.Review from Jason H

Camping World is Absolutely a lie from the time they, hi, hope youre having a good day! First off was told our camper had a bigger AC than it did! 500$ repair! The salesman stated our warranty covered 3 years of having our roof sealed, they wanted to charge me 800$ to do that! Cancelled my warranty, said it would be 4-6 weeks, it was 8 months! I only gave 2 stars because some staff was friendly! Id drop the thing off if I wasnt worried for my credit! Go somewhere else thats honest! After all the hidden fees I wasnt told about, I owe 20k for a 10k camper. And yes I take responsibility being a first time buyer, I was excited. There should be a law, I can just turn it back in!Review from Shannon L

We purchased a gorgeous Freelance Coachman last Sept. 2023 (So excited) We noticed a service light on the dash board when we went to pick it up. So of course Camping world said they would take care of it. Coming from ****** ****. Camping World sent us to drive the ** to ******************* on **************** Where our brand new ** sate for the next 6 months UNTOUCHED. When I try to talk to anybody at ******************* I get the run around. Low & behold they FINALLY tell me. We don't do that kind of work. I know right. So why would Camping World send me there? Finally, I speak to the manager who has me drive the ** back to ******************, where they guarantee it will be fixed. So they send me to drop it off at ***** Trucking. They called within 2 weeks to let me know it was done & no worries. So we drive again back to ****************** where ******************* is to pickup **. Mind you I get there when they just close but they left the key. I hopped in. Smiling all over cuz I can't believe we finally got the ** & it's fixed. Over joyed a little to soon. I didn't even get out of the parking lot of the trucking company and the **** light came on. I contacted Camping World again & ****** the manager had me bring the ** back to him at Camping World. Where they will not refund our $$ they won't even respond back to **. That is a problem that should have been fixed before we even picked up. Now I am making these payments plus insurance with NO **. I NEED HELP.
