      We hired Bath Planet to redo our bathroom and we were delivered tge wrong tub, the contract was different from what we originally agreed to, the first tub was damaged so the work was not completed on the original date. We are not happy.

      As a customer, I urge anyone looking to work with Bath Planet to find another contractor or company to work with. They use very shady/predatory sales and business tactics, have low skilled, low craftsmanship subcontractors and product itself is cheap and of low quality.Sales process:* Price of project fluctuated rapidly as salesman better understood our budget. Started with a 30K+ quote and "he was able to find discounts" to lower cost down to 13K for us. Later was unable to itemize cost of individual items and work.* Lied to use about financing options. ******** asked if they financing was at 0% for 5 years as he stated, later come to find out that the 0% is only good for 2 years from the date you open the account, balloons to high interest after 24 months.* Sold custom glass solution to meet our needs, later to find out "custom glass" is anything not warehoused by *** Product given was a $500 ****** door but added 14K+ do our original quote.Installation Process: (some across multiple days where we had to take off work)* Install 1 - Driver left installer at our home until 1230am, installer did not speak english and unable to communicate with him. Power tools were being used in our driveway up until 11pm to cut walls and piping. Did not install correct unit.* Install 2/Fix - Replaced walls correctly but shower head not secured to wall.* Install 3 - Replace wall, shower head still not secured to wall and now wall is curved. Glass door does not reach ************** leaks onto floor. I reached out to advise we do not want any more of their contractors to work be in our home and ** offered us a measly $500 and then followed up with a $1200 credit (> 10% of project)At this point we will be paying ** over 11K$ for essentially a removal of our bath tub as the shower itself needs to be redone. If we don't repay by July of next year that cost will jump to over 24K due to the interest rate.Please do not work with Bath Planet.

      I hardly consider our communication "reaching an agreement."

      Bath Planet offered a small refund of $1200, after months of back and forth with their servicing department. 

      I still find this amount to be unacceptable but better than nothing. This amount would not even cover for days of lost income. They were unable to itemize the cost of work completed. Since the shower is nearly unusable without leaking water into the bathroom, I consider any work outside of removing of my bathtub undone and would like to be refunded for the incompletion of the job.

      This needs to be re-opened immediately and continued discussions on a refund from the company. I did not sign anything in regards to changing my contract to accept a reimbursement to my account.

      We were looking to get our tub replaced and Bath Planet came in to give us a quote. The salesperson was able to get us to change from doing only a tub replacement to replacing it with a shower only, walls, plumbing and doors. First off all their documentation say they get an A+ rating with the BBB and after this experience I noticed it's a B+. What was showed to us in the brochure for the doors was not what was received. I asked him to raise the shower head because both my kids are tall and I specifically said to him when he was measuring are you sure I'm not going to get any shower spray, he said no. They raised the shower head but now the doors look extremely short and my sons heads are over the doors. The salesperson also said we would receive a nice luxurious shower head with a handle. Their shower head was an $80 hand held shower head (that can be found at Home Depot)there is nothing luxurious about it. I should have figured something wouldn't go right when the first appointment they set was cancelled the morning of after I took a day off to install because of the cold. After complaining they did come install on a Saturday and the guys who installed did a great job. However, the ************** communication is lacking. I first emailed on the contact page about my complaint and never heard back. I called twice and was told the sales manager would get in touch with me that was over 3 days ago. They said when they texted me about their rating and I didn't rate them favorably they would reach out. I'm still waiting.

Initially the sales person ***************************** gave me estimate of $ ********, then $22000.00,then $15332 .00, l thought l got a deal but when the work was done on the shower part of the bathroom, it took them only few hours to finish braking the old tub and replacing with new fiber glass and plastic material.       This job was sold 9/8/23 and was installed 10/5/23. The job was installed per contract and the customer has no concerns regarding the workmanship of the installation. The customer signed a contract for the total sales amount of $15,332.00. This amount was agreed upon at the time of sale. The customer also signed the completed installation survey after the job was installed.

      As talked about the cheating method of this company, l and maybe lot of other people are facing such frauds.
      When the salesman ***** from Bath Planet came to give me an estimate. 
      After seeing the bathroom  we sat down and he gave me an estimate of $ ********, then he came down to $ ********, then again down to 
      $ ********. I thought I got a nice deal from 
      $ ******** to $ ******** , l signed the agreement. After they installed it , l saw the material they used ( Fiberglass) , it is total fraud. 
      The same thing in ********** is less than
       $ 3000.00.
      This is the way this company cheats people. 
      I have been cheated by more than $ ********
      by this (Bath Planet) company. 
      I want at least $ ******** back from them, and they don't pay  please  Black list them.

      Met with sales rep on January 11, 2023.He promised me a soaker tub, dual shower head, and more. He put in the original contract that it was standard tub. When I rejected the first offer of over 14k he spent another hour convincing me that we can get the price down with everything I needed. He **** up a second contract, I still didn't get a copy of. I emailed asking for it. All I got was a price change agreement and for me to pay with credit card.I am a recently medically disabled vet. All I want is to soak in my tub after PT or my exercise.I rejected the standard tub and was immediately told that their legal team will *** me. ************** was incredibly rude when trying to be a bully, telling me that i paid nothing, but I will. Then got humbled when I told him it was paid in full. And said he's going to meet with his manager and call me back after I sent him proof that I asked for the revised agreement *****, the sales rep scammed me by not putting anything in the original contract and never updated anything promised to seal the deal. When he kept stepping out to call a for approval he was not being truthful and did whatever he could to get a contract sign They took my old tub out and left. I had to beg them to put my water back on. I only have the one bathroom. With no other family in the area hotel it is, more expense **** wants me to pay more for the soaker tub that I originally paid for but had no cost. Until him I felt like I was not even a person He'll call 1/24 at 10 for my decision (praying)I was made to fell less than. The representative was rude n triggering I'm depressed because all I wanted was to soak. But now I was scammed out my money. Left with no way to shower, with a husband out of the country fuming Everyone telling me to call an att/media because they took advantage of a military veteran, a female and an African American All I want is to soak. They can give me my money back. My mental state can't take harassment and the degrading rapor

      I am rejecting this response because: ****** and I spoke about the treatment of the men in the office and if there can be some kind of expedited service they could offer, or a temporary arraignment for myself and my daughter to shower on the 30th of January, when I signed the contract which they claimed I had to sign before they could order the correct tub and shower head. I waited patiently and she has not called back.

      I am so disappointed with how they have handled my account and how they have treated me with little to no regards. I am from *******, and as a 3rd world country I have never had to shower in the manner I am forced to after spending this much money for an upgrade. An upgrade and not because it was not working. 

      Bath Planet of Chicagoland has not been the company I thought they would have been when I met with the representative.

      I am rejecting this response because: ************ is the worst I've even done business with in my entire history of doing business. They are despicable! 20 days they took my tub for. Yes it was installed today the 12th of Feb, *************************** and my family? And it was left with needing a ceiling shower. 

      ************************* called on Tuesday and was so shocked that I had no tub or means for my family and I to shower. She claimed she had no idea my tub was taken and is following up based on the BBB report. She offered compensation of a hotel stay for 3 nights after they had originally offered 5 if they could install it on Saturday. As the tub couldn't be used until Sunday. I informed them that it's the Sabbath day and I don't work out have anyone work in my house on the Sabbath. She said she's going to y'all to her boss and get back in touch. She came back with the limited days which I thought was rude. I emailed her declining and asking because of my religion I'm being shafted. She denied and said it wasn't what she said. However, I wasn't alone when she spike to me and they heard. I did not go to the hotel, and was told the company would get there money back for a no show.

      They purposely dragged out the process. Sending incorrect invoices etc. No rush, no care. I already thought it was because of my skin color, but now religion? Not acceptable.

      On November 28th 2023, One day bath or bath planet by leaf, ( they seem to change the name for every person I speak with). has not at all delivered what they promised. The young sales man named ******* was fired shortly after that meeting. The first installation crew had no idea what they were doing. They used the back side of bead board & not purple water resistant board, patched in many small pieces of my old drywall, like a jigsaw puzzle. They are not certified plumbers, again jigsaw quality. The 2nd day was worse than the first. They had no idea how to install herringbone pattern. I called ***** in Chicago Land & was astounded at his rude, bully, lying & aggressive tone. I sent him photos & told him these guys are not certified plumbers, his response they don't need to be in Mi. I told him he out right lied because I asked a certified plumber- he backed off then. After he reviewed the pictures he offered me ****** off of the ******. I said the whole job is unacceptable & he can remove ***************** cancel. He then offered to speak with his boss for more $ off. That was a no. They sent a 2nd crew the last week in December. That crew was mortified how bad the patchwork was done & completely ripped out everything including plumbing & tub because they put a big ***** in it. The ceiling and drywall was also damaged. So now I've waited to January 12th for a new tub. Unfortunately the one guy got hurt & needed to leave. So through all of this I have been communicating unsuccessfully with the ************************* at **************. I've asked for the complaint department at least 3 times as well as an office lady ***** both have refused to help with that matter. It's just ridiculous trying to get any honesty or understanding from this company. Buyers beware do not go with this company.

      On 11/08/23 we met with Rep. ********************* to have parents bathroom converted to a shower from a tub/shower combo for ease of access. They stated it would take one day to do this conversion. The agreed price was *********. We put a deposit of ******** down. They sent out a couple of young men to demo the tub/shower to make room for the walk in shower to be installed, they demoed it, leaving the debris outside my front door, they were suppose to clean it up, never did. I finally cleaned it up. Then because they found a few mouse turds in a 100 year old house, they bullied us into signing a new contact because they said that due to mouse turds they would not warranty the shower install and if we wanted them to finish the install( mind you they already demoed the tub/shower that was there), we had to resign the contact. This was the first day, then the contractor came the next day and worked all day installing the walk in shower. He left and stated he would be back the next day.. He called the next day stating if anyone called about the remainder of payment to tell them we had giving him a check for it. We herd nothing more from this company. Until today 1/2/23 Wanting the remainder of payment. When told the job was not finished and that we were not paying until it was completed, the women stated she would put a lean on the house. This company has not only broken there 1 day install promise but has bullied us through the whole process. Their **************** manager from *********, ** is a rude person who's use of extreme foul language at customers. Her lack of wanting resolution for this issue is ridiculous! Help with this issue would be appreciated.

      Rep came to our house on 10/11 and set up the contract. He omitted frameless from our shower door. 11/3 was the 1 day install. When they opened the pipe, there was standing water in it. ***** found that to be a problem and suggested a plumber because he could not continue his work otherwise, and packed it up for the day! We begged this man to wait for a plumber. ******** stated there was only about 2 oz of water in the pipe, which ***** would have known had he done his job and suctioned it out. They left my bathroom a mess and he damaged my drywall. My husband had to go to HD that day and buy a snake, shut off valves, and pay for plumbers unnecessarily. ********* just made excuses for them. Not sure how she oversees their work from another state. ***** and partner come back on 11/10. The old surround left about 2 ft of drywall at the top. I ordered their surround to go from base to ceiling. For $17,000 they only installed mold board up to the height of old surround. Then pattern on the surround panels did not line up! ******** blamed us for choosing a pattern that THEY OFFER AND CREATE! So to get this to go a little faster, we chose no pattern! That wasn't ready until 12/7! They gave us a lousy $150.00 inconvenience credit! Back to the shower door: I had been inquiring about the shower door the entire time, as I did not understand the description in the contract. Whenever I tried to confirm it is frameless, they would state yes it's a "custom door". Once measurements were taken (1 wk ago), it was no longer frameless. It was a door I NEVER would have ordered! ********* stated we should have known the difference between 3/8" and 1/4"-WHAT?! *** has threatened trespass, and dump the door we did not order on our property! It states that it takes 4-6 wks for production of door after measurements, but since we are disputing door style, the door we did not order will be ready in 2 wks! They are trying to force us to take product we did not order.

      November 22, 2023 My name is *************************** its with the company called **** Planet. I tried to cancel to get a walk in bath tub at my address at *********************************************************. i did not understand all that i was reading and did not read all the papers that i signed. an extra thousand dollars was added on to a card ***** Fargo. and when the companies employee that canceled the contract that only 72 hours i canceled the contract the. and the employee did not say that i had 72 hours to cancel the contract. I called the company back because i was not sure about the price of what i read. He told me that it was one price and the ***** Fargo card had another thousand dollars on it. One day after that i called the company that i wanted to cancel and they said they would cancel. Three days later someone from the Bath Planet called me and was telling me why i could not cancel and my uncle came over to the house. My uncle and the Bath planet employee was arguing on the phone about the price. When we were on the phone together the employee said he was going to take 10% from me and put a lean on my house so he could take the house away. the next day i called the company and asked can i talk with someone about the contract and i wanna see if i could get something else done. Or do i have to stay in the contract to pay 10% or 20%. i tried to call the company over the weekend and to none one called me back. What can i do and that i have health problems. with my back and both of my Knees. My daughter signed the contract and has a learning and mental disability. and if i can get help on working this out because i don't have any other place to go.       This customer tried to cancel outside of rescission policy documented in the contract. All materials were already located in our facility and ready for install. Local manager spoke to them to try and navigate a solution but customer got heated and hung up. Please advise customer to reach back out to the local sales manager to get their job back on schedule, the less desirable outcome is the restocking fee which is a percentage of the contract as noted in the contract the customer signed.

      Dear BBB My name is *************************** I've had an open case up until  December 13th 2023. 
      I had talked to the sales person  that came to my house before on December 14th 2023, about changing from a walk in bath tub to a shower downstairs in my basement. The sales person name that called his boss on the phone was ****** and he had his boss on speaker phone. Me and the boss talked about the certain prices on  the shower downstairs. So i talked to his boss about going to another bank instead of ***** *********** Because i did not want to make payments there. He said that would be fine, and then he said that i could have 24 months of no payments and no entrance. So i said okay thank you, after i filled out paper work for the  the other bank. This Bank is called *****. This payment had $18,796 dollars But the Credit limit is $15,000 But the pass code did not go through. The ****** Tried more than one time But we had no luck for it. so the worker took a picture of everything that was on the form, ****** said to call and leave a message for his boss from bath planet. but the bath planet never called me back. i tried calling them back and asking them can is speak to the bath planet supervisor. I left a message, but the super visor would not respond i recieved on the 14th of December, of two E-mails that a payment is due on january 17th ****, the second e-mail from bath planet explained to me that  there will be no money order or check to  be sent to the of ***** if so the payment will be destroyed tow up and will not prrocess that will be due in january ****. Bath planet workers has not put the shower in. I no longer want to bath planet to put in a shower or a tub. they are not reliable or trusted with making a deal with customers. and also has not put the $5,000 back into my account. And the paper work for the shower was only  or 14 pages long only.
