****************. I've requested them to stop sending me mortgage offers and take me off their mailing list for over two years and they always say they do and then another one the next week. They also don't show it is Mutual of Ohama, it comes as VA Loan Program and in the tiny fine print shows their real name. False advertising.

Dont use them, they tell you that you got the refinance loan and drag it out for months. Kept needing more paperwork and hard to get a hold of. When called about loan they said sorry your husband is a seasonal worker so we cant do it! He a veteran plus does construction. Waited for months and now saying no after saying yes you definitely got it! Dont deal with them!

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, Inc. received your complaint and has completed its investigation. *** guidelines require a two-year work history if a borrower is relying on seasonal income. Unfortunately, your husband was not able to provide the required 2-year history and Mutual had to adverse the file. We hope you understand that Mutual must comply with program requirements in order to ensure its loans are compliant and salable on the secondary market. We are sorry to learn of your frustration with the loan process and hope this response resolves your complaint to your satisfaction.

This company is the absolute worst!!!! If I could rate them a -0, I would. My refinance with them has been very stressful. I submitted my application on October 4, 2024 and today is November 19, 2024 and I'm still waiting for my loan to be funded and my creditors to be paid off. Initially I was told that everything would be done through the portal only to upload all the documents I was asked to upload and have them reach out to me through email and ask for the same documents that they fail to view on the portal. Every time I thought I was close to closing, they would come up with something else to delay my closing. Even after closing, they waited until the three business days in which I had to change my mind, had passed, to have the title company reach out to me and say there was one form that wasn't signed during closing that I needed to e-sign. So, that was another delay. I still have yet to receive my cash out and have my creditors paid off, so after almost two months of dealing with these people and submitting payoff letters, I had to pay all three creditors so that my credit would not be affected. Also now that they have gained my business, they ignore me when I reach out to them with questions. All I can do now is put it in God's hands and pray that he will change their evil hearts so that they will treat their customers like they matter even after they gain their business.

Mutual received your complaint and completed its investigation.  Mutual received all the required paperwork to submit your file to processing on October 9, 2024.  On October 23, 2024, your file was conditionally approved and the loan officer submitted a list of the items that were required to grant final loan approval.  The 3-day right of rescission mentioned in your complaint is a requirement for refinance loan transactions.  The lender must notify the borrower of their right to cancel the transaction and allow 3 business days for the borrower to exercise their right.  It does appear that title had to request for a form to be signed after closing, but the matter was quickly rectified.  Upon learning of your complaint on November 18, 2024, Mutual's branch manager called you to address your concerns and stated that someone would be in touch with you to ensure the loan funded and tracking information was provided.  Your loan subsequently funded and funds were disbursed.  Mutual did not uncover any evidence that anyone ignored any requests from you.  Mutual is sorry to learn of your frustration with the loan process and hopes this response resolves your complaint to your satisfaction.

My father was looking into possibly getting a reverse mortgage on his home. He reached out to Mutual of Omaha Mortgage and "***** from Mutual of Omaha" replied from the phone number (949) ********. "Hi, it's ***** from Mutual of Omaha. I see that the package arrived at your house. lol. Is this your front porch? lol. And you think paying off a $**,*** mortgage isn't enough??!!" along with a picture of the proof of delivery of the packet on my fathers porch. My father did not respond. 13 days later my father received an additional text, "Hi ***** it's ***** from Mutual of Omaha we updated your file and now we can pay off your mortgage and offer $*k instead of *." My father then handed me the phone to reply what he was needing to which I (my father) replied what he was looking to borrow money wise along with, "I appreciate you taking the time to message again, but I also want to make sure this will be worth my time, as well". ***** replied, " 'My home appraises for over $***k... the equity in the home is over $**k.' your statement, we don't grant you 100% of the equity in home because you're staying in the home! You want $**,***? Sell your home and have to move find a new place uproot your family. Boxes, moving stuff, at (age)? Nightmare. The idea is to STAY IN THE HOME. This is NOT a cash grab, this is about securing a long term financial position to set yourself up for enough funds to pass the test of time. You have no or very little savings. Is that safe? Isn't this better than you current path? Go ahead, keep paying on that mortgage you'll have for * more years lol. Any 'extra funds' are just gravy bud." THEN REPLIED AGAIN WITH, " 'I want my mortgage paid AND $**,***!' It's like the impossible list for Santa ****** It's like you want your cake AND eat it too". I responded to ***** at my father's approval,Bullying, making fun of and degrading IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, nor should it EVER BE TOLERATED.

I had a horrible experience with Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. It started out ok our LO represented himself well and had promises of sunshine and rainbows. As time went on things started to feel wrong (for lack of a better word) At first communication was good, not great but good enough in these busy times. We were getting all of our documents submitted and all info requested in a timely manner. Then all of a sudden we were getting emails or phone calls stating they never received the info so we had to submit it all again. This happened 3 times. We were strung along for almost 7 weeks and had to push closing 3 times. Communication started getting less and less as time went on. I would call and leave a voicemail or send emails and not receive an answer in a timely manner or i just wouldn't get an answer at all. Once he sent our info into underwriting they kept asking for the same things over and over that had already been submitted more than once. This is when he told my agent that they sent the loan to upper management but he said don't worry it will be fine. And the most unprofessional thing he did was text (not call, not email, text) our agent and said "sorry its a no go" and that was it. no explanation no call text or email to me (the applicant) not a word. So we had our loan app transferred to another company and he told our agent he "couldn't" have our info sent to the new place. After that I was also informed the appraisal also would not be transferred until it was paid in full despite having paid it the beginning of August. He didn't tell us we had an extra cost that was not paid. We have the receipt for being paid in full. Another thing i had an issue with was he would tell me one thing over the phone and a completely different thing in an email about the same subject. I understand its a busy time and that things happen sometimes but this experience was very unprofessional and held us and the sellers up for almost 2 months for no good reason.

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, Inc. received your complaint and completed its investigation.  We are sorry to learn of your frustration with the loan process.  It appears that your type of employment had recently changed and Mutual was attempting to obtain documentation to support your employment.  There were several other issues that led to requests for additional information.  The requests were necessary to originate your loan in accordance with program requirements.  The extra cost associated with the appraisal was a legitimate charge by the appraiser of $100 due to your property being located in a low-density area.  The loan officer associated with you loan transaction is no longer employed with Mutual.

Well... Things certainly took a turn today. At first I thought *************************** represented himself well and was very supportive. Today, after signing the initial disclosures yesterday I've learned how sleezy of a sales person he really is. After working with him and saying I must have the appraisal completed by the 19th. (Sent him the agreement and worked with him via text message) He told me to use someone else because he's not with the "***** bullsh*t" and assured me he advised me the August 24th. Needless to say we won't be doing business with Mutual of Omaha Mortgage and will do business elsewhere.

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, Inc. believes that this review was submitted to the wrong party.  Mutual acted as the mortgage lender on this transaction, and the individual listed in the review is not employed by us.  He is associated with a third-party mortgage broker, Move Home Lending.  We are sorry to learn of your frustration with your mortgage broker.  It appears that this loan was never submitted to Mutual for underwriting.

Mr. *************************** with Mutual of Omahas Reverse Mortgage Department was heaven sent. I was feeling very anxious and uneasy because I lacked a clear understanding of how a reverse mortgage would work in my situation. Connecting with an agent who had been in the business for years representing a FIVE STAR company quickly dissolved my angst. **** patiently answered all my questions. He walked me through the entire process resulting in an outcome that I could not be happier with. My wife and I love our home and it is such a great feeling knowing that we can age in place.

The agent say things to get you to fill out application for a loan for much more money than what you need, then they do credit check and come up a fake excuse to deny you the loan! Then I fill like I just give up a lot of personal information and if they get hacked, ther go's my personal information, agen.
