    As the original creditor 15 U.S.C. 1602 in any contract the law protects consumers like myself from being abused and discriminated against when dealing with these large companies who only seem to pay themselves when contracts are involved. Leaving one party satisfied and the other party with nothing. I cannot be denied credit for any reason when I am the one who extended credit in the first place. 12 U.S.C. 83- ******* or financial institutions can lend $$$ or issue you credit. 15 U.S.C. 1691- If you are denied credit it is an adverse action. It is unlawful for any creditor/holder to discriminate against any applicant for ANY reason. Gerald Nissan of Matteson Failed in their duty to make sure credit is being extended and handled properly without fraud! I applied online for a 2020 Nissan Rouge(White) Used and not only did they voilate my consumer rights, they also used force to do so did not fully disclose how they were handling the entire consumer transaction with me. Denial is illegal.

    I went into Gerald Nissan in Matteson, ******** for an oil change on 4-17-24 for a 9:15am appointment. The car was inspected at this time to note damage. Upon receipt of receiving my car back from getting the oil changed and car wash that is a complimentary service when getting work done. I get in and notice a crack running straight down the middle of my windshield. I go back in to speak to ***** who checked me in for the service. He told me the car was washed by hand. I told him my car didnt enter this way you guys inspect the cars before the driver goes inside and notate damage. I told him at that time maybe the squeegee he used on the window did it I dont know what did but clearly theres a crack. He went in and I believe spoke to the guy who washed it. He came back out and stood there continuing to say he said he hand washed it. I dont know and left it at that. He never stated it didnt happen or that I already had a cracked windshield because there was no line running down the middle of my window. I told him I would be filing a complaint. I went in to speak to the supervisor, but ***** who I was told by the front desk young lady was in charge wasnt available. Since then I have left a couple of messages with no response. Today I called ***** again and the voicemail is full.

    After speaking with our service staff, the customer asked for a complimentary car wash after her oil change was completed. The staff recommended no wash since there was already a crack visible. The customer commented that it shouldn't be an issue because she has had the car washed in the past with the crack in place. The service staff told the customer they would ***** her wish for a car wash but would not use the car wash machine, they would hand wash it instead to avoid any additional issues /damage to the damage already visible.

    Customer agreed.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    that is not what happened at all. What I stated was what happened I didnt ask for a hand car wash nor did ***** state anything about a crack and I wanted a hand wash. I always get a complimentary wash. There was no crack running down the middle of my windshield. The company needs to refund me for my oil change which is equal to half of my new windshield. Gerald Nissan needs to accept their responsibility and not lie. It was bad enough I had a 9::15 appointment and didnt get out until 11:22 over 2 hours and now being called a liar for a simple oil change now this is unacceptable. All damage  when you enter there was no crack down the middle of my window. I dont appreciate being lied on why would I go back into the dealership if I knew I already had a crack I was coming there when it was Hawkinson and never had an issue now the wait is ridiculous and youre calling people liars. Wow

    To whom it may concern,

    Please see the attached inspection sheet along with photos that show a crack in the windshield and excessive body damage to the front of the vehicle. The pictures are always taken when customers first arrive.

    If you have a difficult time making out the crack in the windshield, the actual inspection sheet notes the damage to the windshield that was signed off by the customer.

    You can clearly see there is no crack going down the middle of my windshield. Thanks for the proof. Im appalled that a big company as such would stoop so low to say I would lie and then send me the proof Wow. 
    Its the principal I have no reason to lie about this I can afford to fix whatever I choose to fix. However, this was on you guys. ***** even came out and said let me go ask what happened when I showed him the crack. He didnt say oh it was there he said let me talk to the guy and see what happened. Then came back and said he hand washed it. I never asked for a hand car wash which is the second lie. So you zoom in and see that there is no crack cause the proof is there.

    I purchased a brand new 2023 Rogue in Sept 2023. I took the car into the service department because a whistling noise occurs whenever the heat is turned on. They had to order a part to fix it, something to do with the ***** I left my car because they told me it would take a day to fix, which is not a problem. The problem is not having any loaner vehicles or any courtesy rides given to customers who have to leave a car that isn't even 6 months old. So I have to pay $40 to get to and from the dealership. Then I received a phone call saying it would be available the next day, so now I will have to take an Uber or Lyft downtown. Since the 10-minute ride to the dealership costs $20 each way, I'm sure the 50-minute ride downtown to work will be a lot more. I'd like to be compensated for the inconvenience of having to pay for a vehicle to get around when I pay a car note for a brand-new vehicle.

    We would have gladly put **************** in a rental if we knew that she needed one. All she had to do was ask! Please let her know that all she has to do is ask if any rentals are available in the future, if so she can get one.
