Sutton Ford in ******** informed me that there was nothing wrong with my transmission after I informed them that this is why I am bringing in my vehicle. I paid for a diagnosis, and Sutton Ford led me to believe it was ok to drive, and it wasn't. Made matters worse and refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. After returning my vehicle to them and asking for a recheck, they later informed me, "Oh yeah, we see now there is an issue with your transmission. I contacted the dealer principal, ***** Sutton, but there was no resolution.

I literally financed a 2019 **** Edge with 88k miles on 09/26/2024 from SUTTON FORD in ******** IL. I didnt even have the car 5 hours and the transmission started having serious shifting issues and almost caused me to get in a crack with my son in the car. Took it back to SUTTON FORD and they are telling me the transmission is bad and needs to be replaced. I think this is a problem considering how long Ive had them vehicle (not even a day) and it is a safety concern that needs to be addressed. Now they wont answer my calls or call back. I will be contacting my attorney and leaving a review on the BBB.

I will never buy another car from Sutton Ford. I purchased a remote start on my new car at that time of purchase (2019 **** Fusion) and it was not put on at time of delivery. We I discovered it months later. I was given after market remote start. Meaning now that there is now 2 fobs for my car to carry around. I went back in recently for oil change and auto ******. I decided that I would speak to the manager about ***************** fobs broken handle and must be carried around in a plastic bag so it does not get lost again. I ask the manager about Sutton replacing the remotes because I should not have to be stressed about losing the remote that I paid for. The manage was not able to pull up my car via the computer so I had to walk back to quick lane and get the service person to print up my paperwork. My car was in the shop for service. I was told by Manager **** to give him my phone so he can add remote start that way, that was all he could do for me. He was happy to let me know that he was the one in control and I was welcome to leave. I return two weeks later with my original paperwork in hand and the salesman felt I should buy an new car to fix my remote issues. He was very eager to assist with the new car deal. I insist on seeing the next level in management but I was not able to follow-up with the owner/manager to address my concerns due she is out working on buying another dealership and not available to speak with. I have discovered while reviewing the paper work that I was charge for premium care for my car which was already covered in the sticker price ($3188). my trade in was deducted $100 and I gave them my title to my trade at the time of trade in. Cost of S-alarm ($1689) I have purchase 6 new cars from Sutton Ford in the last 20 years. All this information has been reported to the **************** and I have filed a compliant with them. I went to a place where I thought my loyalty was valued. That was a big mistaken.

If you want to get ripped off and sold a used car with issues, then this is your place! They LOVE to talk down to nurses, especially the manager *************************. Apparently, our profession is like a used car and we are just FULL of PROBLEMS! Its been 4 tries and this place still cant get their stuff together enough to realize what they are doing is illegal and ADMITTING ON CAMERA they misrepresented a sale of a vehicle will hold up in court. I highly suggest you rectify this issue with our truck or you will lose more than just business

Run and keep running away unprofessional leadership i and combined family have purchased 12 vehicles in the past . Manager ******(?) rude incompetent and would not provide number or email to higher authority. Ran my credit 11xs and my daughter 23 times so that it would look bad to other services. Contacting BBB and States Attorney as a disabled veteran I am appalled by shady shameful business practices of what used to be a very reputable black owned company. Disgusting!

I went there in good faith after I saw the sale price for the vehicle on line my report was going through ****************** but I later found out that they have run my credit report with eight different lenders on top of that I did't give them the permission to do so the bill sale that was sent to bank with my signature was fraudulent sign was different from the bill sale that I received at the dealership thing that was added to the vehicle like paint protection auto butter LoJack windshield protection engine and transmission prices that was added to my loan the check engine light came on the same day while test driven the vehicle took it back but when I picked up the vehicle was doing the same thing the dealership said that the mechanic could not find anything wrong with the vehicle so I took the vehicle to Aamco who check the vehicle out and found the engine mount have to be replaced top and bottom the two front lower control arms and the front and back sway bar links had to be replaced the rear brake pads had to be replaced the code that was found was the emissions system the *** valve and the air filter had to be replaced the radiator cap replace the flex pipe mentioned to the dealership they said they were not covered by the warranty they were also asking about the two bill sale and the fraudulent one that was sent to bank their reply was the person who did those don't work there people at the dealership was telling me lies after lies they even treating me to call the police if I don't leave well the vehicle was repaired by me about thirty five hundred dollars plus they two thousand dollars down payment plus all the payment that was made since July 2022 I found out that the dealership is taking advantage of poor seniors and disability I would not recommend that dealership to no one and hope that the consumer financial protection bureau opens up a fully investigation into that dealership misconduct thank you
