Although I only got 3 of the 4 books I payed for will never buy from them again the main book I wanted I didnt receive instead a math book which I see happens often

      Nothing about returning my money, or where are the rest of my books.

      At this point in time, I do not any more books from them.

      I did receive a credit on 3-7 in the amount of $*****.

      I want the balance of ****** minus the ***** for a total of $146.06. Nothing else will be acceptable.

      I'm tired of being jerked around.

      I did a quote to sell back my college book, printed my label and they received it on 2/22/23 and processed it on 2/24/23. Every since then the status says pending inspection. Nobody will contact me. Either send me my money or my book back. I will not use them again.

      I ordered a couple of books from this website on 1/27/2023. One of the books was refunded back to my credit card on 1/28/2023 when they realized that the book was not in stock. I patiently waited for the second book which I was told twice that it would be shipped out in ***** hours. Since I never received confirmation that the book was shipped, I requested a refund for it also. When I received an email stating that my refund was processing, it was the price of the first book already refunded for $4.41 instead of $10.95 plus tax = $11.83 the price of the second book. I paid a total of $16.24 for 2 books that I did not receive, however my refunds were only $4.41 x 2 = $8.82. Therefore the company owes me a balance of $7.42. The order ID is VMMRAQIDL. The title of the books are E-Myth Revisited and Working With the Law. The prices listed without tax, respectively, are $4.08 and $10.95.

      On 1/23/23 I shipped off 2 books in great condition to sellbackyourbook.com. The company received my order on 01/27/23 and it was signed for by RLopez. My order number is ******* tracking number for this order was ************ and this package was shipped through ****** I was supposed to receive $39.62 for my two books. I was told by Sellbackyourbook.com that when payment is issued, I will receive a email. Well I never got any emails saying payment issued. I chatted with the company through website chat and they told me my payment was issued on 2/1/23 and I never received it. I been checking back and forth with the company, and they keep telling me it was sent however, there is no proof that it was. Like I said I never even got the email saying payment sent. I then researched online and saw a ton of people on ******** also saying they sent books and never ever got paid. I followed back up with the company and told them why a lot of us not receiving our checks and then they told me, the had a issue with the department that issue the checks and how some checks were being returned to them. Keep in mind they never told me this not one time all those days I was constantly asking them about my payment. I asked them if my check was returned and the person, I was chatting with didnt even know. They told me they would send a message to the accounting department, and someone would contact me. Well no one ever did contact me.Overall, I feel like I was robbed! It's like they kept my books and had no intention of actually paying me my money. I never even got a email saying, "payment was sent" to begin with. I do not believe they even sent my payment but rather stole my books and lied about sending a payment. I feel heartbroken and sick to my stomach. I told them my family was struggling and needed the money to buy food and they decided to take full advantage of me. I guess this is what God meant when then Bible said in the last days mankind would turn wicked and deceitful.

      Purchased a college text book for my son. Seller shipped book to the wrong address even though our mailing address is correctly listed on our purchase invoice. We paid $10.99 for expedited shipping in addition to $27.94 spent for the cost of the book. I have called, emailed and left an inquiry on Secondsale.com website. No one is responding. I want a complete refund ($38.93) as I have not received the book.

      SecondSale advertises itself as a "BBB Accredited Business" but charges credit cards before showing the full purchase price (particularly sales tax). That's an irregular, unnecessary and possibly illegal practice. No one goes into a physical store and expects to have their credit card processed before they know the full amount that they're going to pay. Other online businesses meet this same expectation. When I see "BBB Accredited," I expected to be dealing with a business that follows the law and standard business practices, including price transparency in ordering. I now understand that it is, unfortunately, not a reliable indicator of whether or not a business conducts itself in a legal, proper and reputable manner.

      On October 30, 2022, I placed an order with SecondSale.com for two books. The following information is from the confirmation email regarding the order:Order GACABBOSF - Shipped Your order with the reference GACABBOSF has been shipped.We have shipped your books in multiple packages - here are the links to track your packages:9241990217524466132926 ********************** Thank you for shopping with Second Sale! The first tracking # for this order, if you look it up, indicates that this book in the order was delivered. The second tracking #, if you look it up, you will see that this order has not even been received by ***** I have contacted SecondSale.com several times, via email, message app on their website, and finally voice mail, asking about where the order is, when it might actually ship or if they cannot fill the order, could I please have a refund. I have received no response at all from anyone at SecondSale.com. At this point, I have no reason to believe that they intend to contact me or even fill the order, and certainly do not expect they will refund the cost of the undelivered book (book ref# *********) which is $10.05.I am reporting them because they are unresponsive and have not fulfilled their responsibility as an online book vendor. Also, upon failing to deliver all the items in the order I placed, they should be willing to provide a refund, yet they are unwilling to even communicate. Other buyers need to know about this and SecondSale.com should be held accountable.In way of resolution, I either want the book that I ordered, or I want a full refund. At this point, a refund is most preferable.

      However, if you would please convey to the business--strictly for future reference and to avoid situations such as this: If they had communicated with me at all about this order in the first place, then we could have alleviated the involvement of BBB entirely--but I am grateful for the assistance and you have my thanks. 

      I have verified tracking updates for this order and it is finally in motion as of today, 11/9/22. But going forward I will not do business with SecondSale.com again. I'd rather give my business to sellers who communicate with their customers rather than ignoring them.

      Theyre scammers!!!! Dont sell to them!!!!! They lied and said that my isbn on my book didnt match whats on the receipt but it did. I know that it did without a doubt because I checked so many times to make sure. I swear on the bible that it matched!!!!!! And they wouldnt even ship my book back!!!! The people with positive reviews are probably lying or this sorry fake business probably steals from some people so they can make sure they get enough profits. Dont waste your time with these thieves and liars!!!!!!!! Youve been warned!!!!!!!!!!!! You can see the pictures below show the order receipt from this business and the other two pictures show that I bought the book from amazon on April 19th 2021 and the isbn matches the order receipt!!!
