      Please delete the previous claim. That was the wrong claim for a review only This is the correct claim. I would like to move forward with this one Please and thank you. Last year 2023, (Thanksgiving day) approximately 2:50am I was hit by another car. Since then, Its been 5 months and I have not received my vehicle. I pay full coverage insurance and was not issued a rental vehicle. American heartland insurance told me that my vehicle was towed to Fineline Collision at ***** So. ******, *************, ** *****. Ive called them and there other locations and they stated my vehicle has never been there, and they have no history of my truck ever being towed to their shop. I spoke to one of my adjuster ******, but only one time. Yet both of them (****** and *****) have not reached out to me regarding my vehicle, the location, my next steps, or when I can pay my deductible. This company has failed me as a customer. I pay car ********************** and a car note faithfully. But yet know one from this company will tell me where my vehicle is. When can I pick my vehicle up????I left voice mails and Emails regarding my frustration but yet AGAIN no one will returns my phone calls or emails. It should not take this long for my vehicle to be returned to me. I dont understand..

      My car was damaged by one of their customers their client was found liable and they where suppose to fix my car but they said their client had 90 days to sign some paperwork and after that they would tell me how much money they would designate for my car so 90 days passed and I called they says their customer had another 7 days they called him and he and he legally hand an extension then I called after the 7 days and they told me he had another 7 days finally the 3rd week after the 90 days they basically told me they closed the case and that they would not pay anything this is why Im filing this complaint

      In late December of 2023, I was involved in an accident with a person who is insured by American Heartland Insurance Company. This person was found to be at fault on the scene. We both filed claims with this company, and I submitted all of the necessary paperwork to fulfill my end. The other person did not. I was told that after 90 days, the company would move forward without their paperwork. Now they have denied my claim because their insured did not comply. Throughout this entire process, the people who work at this company have been nothing but rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on multiple times when calling to get updates on my claim. They made it very obvious that they had no real intention of being helpful. There are MANY negative reviews on this company that support this statement. At least one of them stated that this company claims to send paperwork through the mail, but do not actually do so. I had this same experience. I had to get them to email the forms to me.My car, while thankfully drivable, has a good amount of damage (some of it I had to pay for myself to get fixed so itd be safe). I would like some help getting this issue resolved.

      Hello, my name is ***********************. I was in a motor vehicle accident on January 23,2024 at 8am I filed a claim with my insurance (American Heartland Insurance) that same day. I submitted all required documentation that was needed. My car was considered to be a total loss on February 7,2024. I have contacted the insurance daily with little to no response. The insurance company has been very disrespectful and purposely ending the calls when questions are being asked in regards to any updates about my claim I submitted. As of right now it is difficult for me to work and go to school without any reliable transportation. The insurance has failed to honor their commitment to pay out for my damage vehicle and I would want this issue to be resolved. My direct phone number is **********.       One of there insured ran a red light and hit my car. The police camera caught it on camera. Showing it was their insurer fault and the falsely changed the incident date and said they not paying because the did t hear back from there client and they gave me a claim number and everything already.

      On Febuary 11th I was in a minor one car accident. I was driving to work and a cement boulder fell off a construction truck. I hit it and caused damage to my oil pan. The following day I filed a police report, Ordered a tow truck and called my insurance. I wanted to go to my local repair shop but was told I had to go to insurance approved repair shop, The next day, they towed my car to a repair shop over an hour away. I waited four or five days and hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to American Heartland to get an update. They told me they had mailed out the claim document and couldn't do anything till I sent that back. After several more days I still had not received them and asked them to email me the documents. They emailed them and told me I could fax them back, so I did. They told me to wait 24 hours to make sure they got them. After 24 hours the information hadn't been input into the system They asked me to resend them, so I did. It has been three weeks and I have called every day. They still haven't confirmed they have gotten anything. They said as far as they can see, they haven't They are extremely rude and have hung up the phone on me several times. I have reached out to the office manager, my agent and they refuse to call me back. I called my insurance broker Insure On The Spot and they told me it could take 4-6 months to get it fixed so I decided to just pay myself because I live alone and need a car. I called the repair shop and they told me they were so backed up it will be at least another week before they can even take a look at my car. It has been 15 days and I am no closer to resolving this matter, then the first day.

      12/30/2023 Was hit by American Heartland Policy Holder, 1/02/2024 Filed Claim with American Heartland. 01/08/2024 was sent a inspection form to take to body shop,01/10/2024 received conflicting letters, 1/11/2024 Met with adjuster at Body shop ,01/16/2024called American Heartland for update was informed they were still waiting on cooperation from their insured, 01/24/2024 called American Heartland was informed that they tried to reach their insured, 01/19/2024 with no success i was informed that there insured had 90 days to respond and i asked if he did not respond what would happen I was told that their adjuster would make a decision. 01/30/2024 called American heartland asked for claims department sent them a notice of intent to **** 02/08/2024 called was informed no cooperation from they're insured. 02/13/2024 called American Heartland was told they was still waiting on there insured ****************. 02/19/2024 called American Heartland and I asked them to be specific about what was going on and they informed me that they had denied the claim. The accident happened at ********************************************************* IN ALDI'S parking lot. my car was parked **************** hit my car with enough force to completely move my car out of its parking space and collide with another car. **************** stated that he was trying to avoid a car pulling out a parking space i saw no car pulling out of a parking space nor did other shoppers. I contacted American Heartland on the 2nd because of the holidays. the first week things seemed to be ok after that they seemed to very deceptive and I felt like they was stalling for 90 days in hopes that i would just go away. **************** policy was in effect and American Heartland Insurance company should pay for my damages

      My car was hit by an insured motorist of American heartland insurance. The motorist never filed a claim or reported the accident to this insurance company. It have been calling this company every week about damages to my car. I was rear ended and they dont want to take or admit fault. This is so wrong. Someone needs to look into this company who protects non reporting accident motorist. Any other insurance company would have dropped the motorist die not reporting accident. Can anyone help me? Please ????

      I was in an accident on October 20th in which the at-fault driver has American Heartland Insurance. As of December 26th, this issue has still not been resolved. Their policyholder is listed as the at-fault driver on police reports as she ran a stop sign (speeding) and hit me ( I did not have a stop sign). American Heartland is claiming their insured is only 70% at fault and has determined they are not responsible for the full amount required to fix or total my car, hospital bills (as I am pregnant and went to the Emergency Room as a result), and the (now) 2 + month storage fee at the autobody shop. Not only do they give their clients 90 days to file all necessary paperwork to even begin the process of assessing the accident (which just continues to drag out this process), but the adjuster assigned to the case, *****************************, has been completely non-responsive. I called her approximately 8 times (waiting 48 hours or more in between each call) and never received a call back once. Furthermore, the information listed in the decision letter she sent lists MY NAME as the person to contact at their autobody shop for more information. Any person who has heard that I am struggling to get ANY answers from someone at American Heartland Insurance has immediately shared their equal disdain for this company (including lawyers at the hospital, the autobody shop, and my insurance who have all been trying to get in contact with ********* or anyone at AHI). If this issue is not resolved, I will be obtaining a lawyer to get this addressed and taken care of- preferably before the birth of my child.
