Complaint taken over phone by H363137**3238313831H representative (BA)Consumer**;s spouse ******* was called by business on July 19, 2021 and was told that their car H31**303835363538**38H was expiring soon. She paid over the phone $199.48 by debit card. Two days later, they realized their car H31**303835363538**38H was with another company. They called Endurance H**36363332313030H and cancelled the account that had been set up and asked about a refund. They were told to submit something writing, which was done in July 2021. The refund has not been issued yet, so consumer called Endurance today (10/1/2021) and spoke with Jador, who told them the refund amount would be $53.00. They were told this was a pro-rated amount and nothing could be done. Jador refused n to provide his ID number or let them speak with a supervisor. They couple are elderly and on a fixed income. They feel the company misrepresented the initial call, since the couple did not have a policy with them.Business response

A Manager from Endurance reached out to ************ to provide an explanation of the refund amount. The Manager confirmed that the consumer would be eligible for a pro-rata refund after the 30th day of the contract term. However, in the interest of customer **********************, ********************** has agreed to return the consumers down payment. Endurance is sorry for the frustration this has caused the consumer and is committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
