      My house was flooded in May of 2024. My insurance is lowballing me. The cost of repairs are much higher than the adjuster projected. Furthermore, my personal property was damaged and there has been no attempt to compensate me for that loss. Also, my adjuster has not called me for weeks.

      My adjuster has not given me my money for loss of personal goods. It's been 3 months. Also, his estimates are much lower than actual costs. See attached.

      On 8/10/2024 Allstate was notified that a tree had fallen on our house causing significant damage to our roof, **************** No one contacted us until 8/16 (6 days later) at which time we were told an adjuster would come out & assess the damage on 8/19 so we could get started on repairs. On 8/18 Allstate contacted our contractor to say they werent coming on the 19th but instead would come in the 24th (14 days after incident). No one from Allstate ever contacted us with that information. The ceiling in the bedroom is deteriorating & water is starting to come into the room due to the rainy conditions although we do have a tarp on the roof. Our agents office has tried on numerous occasions to get someone to help us but have been unsuccessful. How do you treat people this way. Is Allstate waiting for someone to get hurt or have our home continue to endure further damage. How do you run a business in this way??? Allstate needs to get someone out here before the 24th so that repairs can be done.

      Business is leaving rubbish at my residence and using my personal information for unauthorized purposes. Would like the business to take responsibility for disposal of their trash as this should not be my responsibility.Agent is impossible to get ahold of and the office manager is very rude.

      I still am left with unwanted refuse that was abandoned at my residence by this business. Would like this company to take responsibility for disposing of their own waste. This is unsolicited and the burden of disposal should not lie with the unconsenting party.

      The month of July my home got struck by lightning and damaged my cable router and a ********* broadband adapter box and my home A/C system and filed a claim and they sent a HVAC technician out and I also hired a HVAC technician. Their technician said it was wear and tear on the unit and my technician wrote their was damage to 4 components was damaged by a severe energy surge. Allstate denied my claim. Like last year I had a water leak in my bathroom. The first leak I have ever had in my bathroom. Needed a section of floor replaced and they sent a guy out and he said I had a previous water leak which I have never had and they denied my claim on that one too ????

      On August 8 I called Allstate to inform them of a payment that was pending to come out of one of my accounts but I was unable to go inside the branch to put those funds inside the account. My son accidentally used my TD account instead of my **** of America account. I explained this to ****** and I asked him could he refund the payment and I just pay with my debit card instead. He assured me several times that my policy wouldnt be canceled because of this. He also told me that Im eligible for a 15 day extension when my next premium was on the 17th of August. He told my payment of $390. Now today Im being informed that my policy was canceled and back dated to be canceled on the 6th of August. I would like the call pulled down and my policy reinstated like he advised me that this policy wouldnt be canceled and in fact it is. I spent over 15 minutes on the phone with him even paid just for the policy to be canceled out. So now Im left to with no coverage because of Allstates representative. I left to clean up this mess. And did what I was told to do at the time. I would like that call pulled on August 8 at 1:43 pm. ****** also needs additional training. He left me in a huge jam. Anything could of happened here.

      I have paid insurance premiums to Allstate for 20+ years. I have only had 1 claim and that was for storm roof damage. They paid a small amount and I paid the rest. I received a call asking what they could do for me in April. I said yes, reduce my rates. They said all we can do is reduce your deductible. I said after 20+ years thats all you got. I said cancel my insurance I will go somewhere else, and I did. Then several months later I receive an email and letter stating I owe them $145 or so from a credit collection agency. I sent them a letter stating I had cancelled my insurance in April and went with another local company. I was not behind on payments and usually paid extra each month. If anything they owed me.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      I was told by Allstate *** that I had not cancelled my insurance when the original phone call was made. I have a witness that I told them to cancel. A lady that works in my office hear the entire conversation. I know that's only hearsay, but I still stand firm on I said cancel.  Question :  I had vehicle / home / and rental property insurance,  and the only 1  they say is not cancelled is the rental. How could that be possible? Thanks, for your time and consideration.

      I filed a homeowner's insurance claim through Allstate for a dwelling and personal contents loss that occurred on 5/16/2024. A portion of my structures claim has been paid thus far and I am working with another adjuster on the personal contents portion. I have questions as to whether coverage applies to my extended limits coverage, and I have reached out to my assigned dwelling adjuster (***********************) several times through different platforms over the last 3 months requesting review of documents to determine whether my situation qualifies for certain coverages. I have not been able to make contact with her since the claim has been filed. After over a month, she left a vague reply to my message on the app and after another month, called and left a voice message when I missed her call. I have since sent another email message and voice message with no response. I have had other claims representatives assigned to other portions of my claim tell me they will relay the message to call me to answer my questions and discuss my submissions, but no one has called. Last week I was told that my claim had been assigned to a different dwelling adjuster and they would be reaching out in the next couple of days. I have not heard anything since.

      In May ************************************************************************** ***********, **. I live in the very center of the neighborhood, and, after that hailstorm, every house in the neighborhood other than mine has gotten a new roof due to hail damage.After the storm, contractors canvased the neighborhood. A contractor went on my **** and documented damage. The agent said the damage looked gradual. The contractor took more detailed images, and Allstate sent another contractor to take images as well. The new contractor agreed that the damage was rather obvious. The agent still said no, and she was rather rude. "I said no and you have no other option. We are done."I filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance, but they only verify that the process was correct. Now, I have to sit and wait for my roof to leak. This sercie has been horrible. I already dropped the Allstate car insurance.
