Ive had 3 packages sent to me which ended up in the hands of this United Delivery Service aka UDS, none of which were delivered within the estimated timeframe. I have had to contact the company multiple times and practically beg them to deliver my items. I rarely write reviews but this so called delivery service needs a serious overhaul. I am shocked theyre still operating with such poor services. My latest package theyve handled has been bounced back and forth from missorted to delivery delay to package received status for 8 days now: all at the same location thats about 40 min from my house. I understand there may be unexpected delays but this is 7/9 items from my order and the others were delivered by **** a week ago, both shipped the same day from the same location. The websites contact us tab is a waste of time because when you call the number you get an outdated recording from around the days of the Covid shut down that says theres no one there to help and to use their website but the website offers about the same amount of information. This place is a joke, they should be ashamed of the way they are doing business.United Delivery Service Response

After waiting for my package for almost FOUR weeks, representative claims my package:"...was missorted and not able to be located for route. This is deemed lost in transit."That's it? No responsibility whatsover. by UDS. I wonder how much time they actually spent trying to locate my package? They told me to file a claim with the company I ordered the merchandise from and used UDS to deliver it. The claim should be filed directly with them! I see in these reviews that is their 'PASS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOMEONE ELSE' tactic. The package contained Christmas presents that will never arrive. I see above they are not BBB Accredited which is no surprise given their terrible rating here and on Yelp. There were also awful ****** reviews but somehow those review have gone missing.Their website says "Profession, Reliable Delivery you can count on to deliver on time." That is a joke. As much time as I've already wasted on this, I am going to write letters to all the companies that UDS states "trusts them" with deliveries that I deal with and tell them NOT to use UDS and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Ordered something from ******** at the end of November.Got an alert that it was "delayed" and it sat in the same spot since Dec, 1st.Tracking was FINALLY updated yesterday 12.08.2023 afternoon at 350pm.It was updated to say "There was no safe place to leave the package."No one even attempted to deliver a package.UPS, Fed EX, ***** and Amazon ALL deliver without issue.The driver has to actually get out of the vehicle, walk up the sidewalk and come to the back door.We are ABOVE a restaurant and these are the delivery instructions on all out packages.My neighbor has even put a note out a few weeks back letting drivers know it is okay to leave all resident's packages on the stairs.I have called in to UDS, tried all prompts and all I get is generic hold music.I am encouraged to go online and create an account to reach out to their team.Seriously?I should not have to work this hard to get an answer.I just want to know where my $500 worth of items are.Due to this company alone, I will never shop with ******** again.United Delivery Service Response

3 days in a row I received a delivery tracking confirmation stating my package would be delivered the followin day. Each day it was not delivered. I recently received a text message stating that my package was delivered. With this was a picture of a camping trailer with a package on the steps.( I DON'T LIVE IN A CAMPING TRAILER)I contacted *** and received back a computer generated response. I tried to call the number on the website and it just disconnected me. I also tried a email I found but got it tossed back to me stating this email in not monitored and it gave me the phone number to call that I had already tried.. Recently *** delivered a package to my house (not mine) I walked it up the road to the correct house. I guess I should have learned from that experience not to order from a company that used *** for delivery.Anyway I wouldn't even give *** one star. I should have looked at the rating BBB of "F" before placing my order the second time.Review from Marie R

This company needs to be investigated. They stole my package I have proof they would not help and hung up. Hundreds of people have said the same thing. Package has been out for delivery for a week, read the reviews on ****** looks like Ill have to get a refund from the company I ordered from. Disappointing as the items were on sale and sold out now. My package was delivered to the wrong address. No apologies from the staff. No follow up on my package. Spent several hours, was hung up on multiple times and had to do my own research to find out what happened with my package. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. UDS is a horrible delivery service. I would rather pick my package up from the store. As I know Nordstrom have accounts with different delivery companies. This one is the worst! Any time they are used my package is alway delayed due to carrier not wanting to deliver to my place of work. No other delivery company has an issue. My current package was supposed to have been delivered 5/12. It is 5/17 and its still showing delay. When you call you get the run around. Agent advised yesterday that my package would be delivered today. This is for a function that I am attending! At this point its useless!United Delivery Service Response

This is definitely an instance that I wish ZERO stars was an option. I had 2 instances with UDS within 3 days and it's enough to last me a lifetime. On 11/9 I received an email stating that my package was delivered. I was confused because I had been home ALL day and my doorbell never rang. I go outside to find an empty box. I immediately contacted UDS (via email because as others mentioned, what number?) and a few hours later received an email because saying it was delivered, here is the pic and if you want your package, contact the vendor. Thank goodness the vendor, *********, refunded my money.3 days later on 11/12 my doorbell rings. I go to the door and a GREAT woman has a package for me. on This package was delivered to her house, MILES away from my home. I am thankful that the person who received my package was honest and delivered my package to my house, using her own transportation. This is an EGREGIOUS error and the second time this week I have had issues with UDS. Again, I emailed them and received the response "we talked to the driver." I have never seen a company with so little accountability. I am not sure how any company, particularly a multi million dollar company like ********* uses this company. I hope ********* ends their partnership with then because people spend too much money to have their packages stolen or delivered to the wrong address.
