      IMPORTANT WARNING: General Sales Manager **** (GG) was a hateful liar to loyal Napleton customers (I don't like writing this review - but it was towards my wife who is not white and me her husband who is); **** negotiates and agrees to a car deal but then reverses course and pretends none of it ever happened for some reason - so very strange how everything changed and went downhill after **** ***** my wife's accent. We are really disappointed with **** and this dealership. This is not a proper or professional way to treat people or do business. Extremely dissatisfied!--->Should have done better research on Napleton - from the ************************ Government on April 1, 2022 - FTC Takes Action Against Multistate Auto Dealer Napleton for Sneaking Illegal Junk Fees onto Bills and Discriminating Against Black Consumers Napleton Auto will pay a record-setting $10 Million in case brought jointly with the State of ********.

      I live in ******** and bought a car in Sept. from Napleton in ********. Illinois sales tax was paid at that time to the dealer. In April, I received a penalty notice from ************ because the taxes werent paid until December, two months after purchase. I called and left messages with Finance and Sales Manager and never received a return call. I called for the Title processor and the receptionist told me she was a new employee, but not even in the office that day. She would only take a message to give her. Again, no response has been received. I had to call Illinois *** on my own, get instructions, and submit documentation to prove my case asking the penalty waived to me. Now it could take 2 months to get a decision from them. I should never had to do any of this in the first place, and absolutely no one from Napleton has contacted me to discuss this.

      Avoid this dealership. They think they can overcharge women. I had been a client for the last 12 years for several vehicles. They tried to scam me into paying for costly, unnecessary repairs. A second opinion revealed that the $4000 they wanted to charge me was totally unnecessary. I believe it isn't the first time they have done this in the last two years, but it wasn't so blatant in the past, and when safety is involved, you want to trust your dealership. I wonder how illegal those practices are?I won't expand on the bad customer service I received on top of it that day, but it was bad.

      My father-in-law had a lease with ***. He died recently and we are returning the car to ***. An appointment was confirmed for pickup, but no one came for the car. We contacted *** to get information and just got repeatedly transferred. Six different *** employees provided no assistance and simply said it wasnt them and transferred us to the next person. This is by far the worst customer service *** experienced and would never buy or deal with *** again.

      Napleton ******* had our car for 3 weeks before they told us they couldn't do the warranted engine replacement due to rear bumper damage. After we towed the car to a body shop at our expense, repaired the bumper, and towed it back to Napleton, they had the car for 3 more weeks and did not contact us or reply to phone calls, or texts. When I stopped in to speak to them about the car, they had no record of our case and could not find the keys. After 30 minutes, they found that they had closed the case and eventually found the keys. That was 41 days ago and the car is still there. The engine has been ordered as of late last week, but there is no *** on when it will arrive. After telling us we could get a loaner or rental, they informed us they won't loan us a car until the engine arrives. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any business and would never recommend them to anyone under any circumstances. I would not even give them 1 star but this form won't allow me to do that.

      Don't buy any maitnance programs , they changed oil but not oil filter, I think that is common practice at this dealership

      This dealership is an absolute disasterhands down the worst car-buying experience Ive ever had. I bought a car wrapped in matte black, except for one glaringly unfinished door. They swore up and down theyd wrap it to match perfectly after the sale, promising a brand-new look. What a load of garbage. It took over a month and 10+ desperate phone callschasing them like I was begging for charityjust to get them to do what they already owed me. When they finally bothered to wrap it, they slapped on a totally different color, turning my car into a mismatched eyesore. No apology, no accountability, just pure laziness and dishonesty. This place is a scamunprofessional, unreliable, and downright pathetic. Steer clear unless you enjoy being lied to and ripped off

      They over charged me for two different vehicles with hidden charges and service department is terrible bought brand new trackhawk show room floor and it was in service two days later and almost every 500 miles after

      The service department is adding a Miscellaneous Fee of 10% to all service orders. This seems a little underhanded to me. They should just be strait forward and add the cost into the listed service price.
