NelNet is responsible to service my solar panel system per my contract and this system has been down and not collecting electricity for several weeks. The company keeps making deadline promises for an update to my open support ticket and continues to blow off those deadlines with no response. In the meantime, Im still having to make my monthly payments for the system and my electric bill continues to climb. The company also collected a portion of my **** payment because theyre responsible for the warranty work and their negligence is financially costing me now and potentially in the future if I dont produce enough kWh while under contract for my **** credits.

Nelnet (GRNE) installed solar at my home in *******. When I had trouble with my inverter 2 years later, they were no help. The only things they did were to tell me to turn it off and back on again and to tell me (more than once) that they no longer have installers in *******. Thanks them not responding for weeks, I lost hundreds of dollars in missed generation until I could find someone else, (who then cost me hundreds of dollars to investigate and fix an otherwise warrantied issue)The co-op offer claimed ** *********** come with a 15 year workmanship warranty (including 5 year roof penetrations warranty) from the installer and a 50 year labor warranty for manufacturer equipment claims**I paid $249 to another installer and would like that reimbursed by Nelnet since they originally agreed to warranty labor for this kind of work, as noted above and in the attached document.
