This is my mortgage company for an investment property. The first payment of $3092.74 was due on 2/1/2024. I made a payment of $7500.00 prior to the due date. The company then sold my loan to ************************** and did not credit my principal for the extra amount paid. If the additional $4,407.26 isnt credited to my principal balance before the next payment is posted it will cost me additional interest. I initially brought this to their attention on February 20th. At this time, they told me they would get the information over to the new company, and it would reflect correctly within a few days. I called again on the 26th and was told they had not sent anything over to the new company yet. She said they were trying to get an address. Its been another week and the new company still has no record of the additional funds. American Portfolio is not answering their phone now.Business response

We were able to reach this client and discuss the situation yesterday 3/19/24. We are working with his servicer now and will insure his payments made post correctly and to the correct date such that no extra interest on that princpial reduction is charged. We cannot always control the timing of when the servicer will make the corrections, but absolutely will make sure it is done correctly We will continue to keep the client updated as we work with the servicer to get this fully resolved.Customer response

12/22/21 American Portfolio mortgage received a check to be applied to my account from DAS *************** LLC for the amount ******* Check was cashed by APM and cleared 1/6/22 through senders DAS account. I had to research myself and send copy of cancelled check over to APM and still no resolutions. They see and tell me they have all the proof they need.I have called over 5+ times about the funds never being applied to my account.Each time I am told they have to open a case and I'll hear back in 5 days. Not once have I received a phone after each time a "case" has been open. They deleted my payments I made and reapplied them. My taxes weren't paid on time so I had delinquent taxes and my property was sold off. My home insurance was also cancelled due to non payment. Those 2 matters were fixed after 2 months. American Portfolio mortgage now has sold my loan to another company without resolution of my funds. This feels like it's been stolen out from under me. I have proof they have proof. Horrible business!!Business response

Our servicing team is investigating and will have a response to the customer shortly. This complaint has been escalated and will be dealt with quickly. We will follow up with the customer this week to ensure that the customer's issues are solved.
