Request to counsel my policy. Stated would take 7-10 days. Almost 4 weeks laer,ill have not received the check. We had to deal with a woman called Olivia. She has continued giving us the wrong information. First she stated we were not getting our money back.then she sent us a form that had names of people we didn't even know. These forms had people personally information on it. This is so wrong.Pekin Insurance

1 starThey have admitted to running my policy wrong, constantly tell me one thing and do another. Knew my value.of.my truck and jnderbid.me on purpose only for.me to find that same info from. Somone else in there company. 3 days ago josh was gona dive into this situation and get back with me. Never heard from him. Talked to a snooty Lindsay today... answered the phone and she says real nasty like.. what can I help you with... I said idk start doing jobs right... hold folks accountable. Staty training folks proplerly.... your tactics have already cost me 3500 roughly as it stands... from yalls mistakes.... I have to pay for them??? Didn't see that in the policy. So 2k rip off on value.if truck and about 1500 in wasted rental money out of my pocket due to some other lady giving me wrong info.... did I mention72 hours before the rental was due back I asked about the rental extention, recipes foe the truck and if I was doing something wrong.... no response Thursday Friday Saturday sunday.... so guess who starts calling to complain first thing Monday.. this guy.... it's now Thursday night... was suppose get evaluation done today... nope still nothing... *** good thing everything has been recordedReview fromLeslie S

In dealing with a claim on an accident my son was in, the representative requested pay stubs and information from my employer regarding "Lost time" due to the claim. After submitting the information and being told "I'm going to pay you. I just need the documentation", I was told they don't reimburse lost time. Getting any response from the representative required multiple attempts (emails, voicemails) and often required reaching out to someone else in the company. Needless to say - they made an already bad situation significantly worse due to their unprofessionalism, while also invading my privacy for no apparent reason.Pekin Insurance

1st they dropped my local agent so I had to "in writing" ask to continue coverage with them direct. Now a year later the are increasing my premium with no explanation from $1500 yearly to $2800. No accidents, tickets, only a cracked windshield replacement. I had been a loyal customer including my home owner policy for 20+years. Being retired and on fixed income that seldom drive over 50 miles a week is outrageous.Pekin Insurance

Had universal life insurance with Pekin for over twenty years. Every year I paid my premium on time. Last week I received a letter that my cash value of my universal life was near zero and that I needed to send $2100.00 to keep the policy up to date. What happened to over $14,000.00 that I had paid to Pekin over the years? Bad investments or is Pekin charging me exorbitant cost to manage a life insurance policy? The agent was not helpful and could not explain what happened to the money. I had my home, car, and life insurance with Pekin. When I moved to Florida, they would not insure my house or car. I guess they did not want my life insurance policy either but took me for over $14,000. DO NOT BUY ANY INSURANCE FROM PEKIN OR ITS SUBSIDIARIES!Pekin Insurance

It has been a year since the insurance claim was filed at Pekin. The assigned adjuster at Pekin said it will take time and we don't know how long. We are working with insured party and approve the claim. Stop calling us. After continuous follow up, I was ignored. No response to my phone calls or emails. Does it really take years to investigate and resolve property damage claim? Neither anyone from Pekin showed interest from upper management nor any person came to the sight to look at. I have sent tons of pictures and videos of the incident but no one cares in this company. What a joke! Hope I get someone's attention.Pekin Insurance

Our car was hit by another car, not our fault. They encouraged us to handle it through Pekin and nothing would affect us. Well we have to pay for the rental and the $500 deductible. Have asked several times to get our reimbursement from the other parties insurance and our rep has been no help at all. They lied to us! With something that wasn't our fault shouldn't cost us money and take this long to get reimbursed! It's been 3 months now with nothing! Unacceptable!! Do better! The cost of living is a struggle as it is, so $500+ rental is no joke in our household! Don't use Pekin!Pekin Insurance

Thank you for your review. When more than one insurance carrier is involved, the claim can take extra time to resolve. they don't return phone calls, nor emails, can't get a hold of anyone. filed a claim in January 18,. 2024 still not resolved. filed a complaint with the department of insurance, have reached out to my attorney, waiting further direction from him. How do they expect one to live in a house without a kitchen, without a sink, without a stove or oven, without a floor, had a huge hole in the kitchen with a sheet of one inch plywood 4 x 8 feet covering the hold to keep my dogs from falling to the basement for weeks.
