I took my vehicle in November 2023 for a free estimate. My car needed to replace the Hood, Bumper, Fender, Radiator Support. When they finally got back to me, it was far more than I expected. Also lost my job, i explained my situation that i wouldn't be able to afford the repairs now. But he had no heart and still wanted me to pay almost $4k just to get my car back or pay almost $6k for repairs. Had no choice but to use my last savings for the repair deposit. Weeks passed, I'd call asking if the bumper ordered had arrived but after never got more updates. Only until February 14th, I was told that they got the parts and will be finished the following week. By this time I still haven't found a job and stressed how I won't be able to pay the remaining amount yet. They sent their financial site that I didn't get approved for. Feb 19th they messaged me that my car was ready. In the pictures, the car looked fine. I Explained how I needed time to get the money to pay the remaining 3,400$, but he still had no heart and said I can take all the time I need but he'll still charge me 180$per day that I don't pay and *************. Feeling pressured, I had to max out all my credit and debit cards. The day I went to the shop to make the payment, I was not taken or offered to see my car in person beforehand. They asked for my ID and Cards and took pictures and copies of them which my bank told me they are NOT supposed to do. After paying, they took me to see my car which they had just left in the ally unsecured. I was so upset with the results of my car. The parts weren't aligned right, the bumper has multiple big cracks all over and punctured holes, Sticking and curves out. The radiator support was charged as New original, but it's a used one with dents. Dissatisfied, still had to ************* to avoid getting charged. I feel completely tricked and taken advantage of. They NEVER had contacted me or the company about having issues. Till today, still haven't resolved this.

To whom it may concern, this is a fraudulent dispute. This customer supplied the bumper that we put on the vehicle declined repairs on it and just wanted to paint it which is what we did. The reason the lining is incorrect is because he has two busted headlamps that he declined to replace their broken on the vehicle and just sitting on the car and thats the reason the fender and bumper look the way they do theyre actually on their perfectly the headlamps need to be replaced, all the repairs were done on this vehicle correctly . We can send photos of the before and after repairs if you would like. This vehicle sat at our shop for several months before the customer finally gave us a deposit of $1500 to repair the vehicle and then once the vehicle was done, he stated that he lost his job and could not pay for the repairs. He shouldve told us that before we continue to repair the vehicle. We even went above and beyond for him and let him pay on several credit cards which you can see in their photos.

My car was towed to Aim collision on 8/26 to get repaired. I have ********************* Aim collision submitted the estimate and supplements needed to get my car repaired. There was a delay in the responses from State Farm. On 10/18, someone from State Farm was sent out to view my car and deemed it a total loss. At this time Aim collision had been paid 17k and some change. I went to the repair shop to get my belongings and saw that my car was in the same state it was when I dropped it off. Nothing had changed. ***** informed me they had started working on my car. When my car was picked up by copart there was a 12k + storage bill that needed to be paid in order for the car to be released along with other fees. I explained to ***** that the money from the 17k will need to be accounted for. That he would have send to insurance company a detail of the parts paid for and they will need to be returned with the car since State Farm paid him for them. State Farm will not pay him for the parts and he gets to keep them. He stated co part sent a flat bed to the shop to get the big parts. I was given a reference number for copart that did not work and when I finally got in touch with them they had no record of any truck being dispatched to pick up parts. Aim collision is saying they have completed 17k worth of work on my car along with the price of parts. I explained to them that they should indeed get paid for their work and time but State Farm will not pay them for parts and they get to keep them. They claim they dont have the parts and the money is accounted for with work but there is no work done. Furthermore if the car was being worked on why is there a bill for storage? They have been very unethical in this process and I explained to them this is coming from my pockets. I am unsatisfied and will like the parts and money sent back so that I can get another car. They are not cooperating at all and to charge 30k for a car that was a total loss is insane.

Sorry for the late response I am just seeing this email. None of this is true. State Farm decided to total the vehicle out after we had said it should be totaled from the moment we received the car however, they did not feel the same way. They decide to move forward with fixing the vehicle. It took us a month to get them to come out and look at the vehicle where they finally did Deemed the total we had already spent over $10,000 on parts, which were not returnable because they had been prepped , opened and ready for paint the parts were given to the tow truck company and the first small parts were all left in the trunk of the vehicle. I dont know why the customer is being told otherwise and why State Farm is refusing to pay the customer. We Still waiting on State Farm response because we do know we need to refund some labor. They have not respond to us since. They were charged storage administration fees from the date of the vehicles arrival it is in our policies that if any work is denied, customer or insurance company is liable for storages from the date the vehicle arrived.

      Complaint: 20839667

I am rejecting this response because:

The business is not being truthful. To begin, when I initially filed this complaint he received the email and stated he would not help us until I recanted it and he would need to get his lawyer involved.

Secondly , I have continuously reached out to the company to get an itemized list of the work he would like to be paid for and a refund for the work not done and he actually sent State Farm an invoice stating we still owe him $300.

Aim Collision stated the parts were picked up by RG EXPRESS. I  also contacted the manager there and they stated they never picked up parts from the shop and the cameras should show who picked up the parts if any. I have spoken with the Manager at RG express and he stated AIM collision is not being truthful. He also stated he called them and they stated it was not him but told me it was RG EXPRESS. The manager at the salvage yard took pics of the trunk there were no parts in there and also I drove out there myself to take pics. The parts are nowhere to be found. This business has stolen the parts and since he was the last with them he is held liable for them.

Aim collision also is holding my money for work done on my car when indeed no work was done at all. I have attached pics of my car when I had the accident, on 10/18/23 when the adjuster came out and told them to stop working on the car which they had not started and also on Nov 14th when I went to the salvage yard. No work was completed on my car.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

Weve already explained the situation on this vehicle. All the parts were picked up by the tow truck companies the insurance company State Farm is aware of everything and they still have you at the contact us for any type of a refund we did Purchase all the parts they were all sent back. Unfortunately ********************* is lying and did not receive anything. We can forward photos of the Parts if youd like as well.

      Complaint: 20839667

I am rejecting this response because:

I have contacted RG EXPRESS about the parts. The manager has informed me that he was never dispatched by State Farm to pick up any parts from AIM collision. He stated he called and spoke with the manager at AIM COLLISION and ***** told him he didnt mean to say RG Express. The tow company has pictures of my car on the tow truck as that is part of their process when being dispatched. They do not have pics of the parts because they were never paid to come pick up the parts separately. Per the pics the trunk is empty and no parts are inside. Per the pics the car was never worked on. The last company to have seen and touched the parts were AIM collision therefore they are liable until they can show proof they sent the parts to somewhere else. How do you give away 10k in parts and not take pictures or have someone sign off on it to show proof? My car is still in the same condition it was when I dropped it off and the parts they supposedly purchased are now missing. This company is very fraudulent and I would like my 17k refunded as I am still without a vehicle. I have filed a police report with *********** as well.

      Complaint: 20839667

I am rejecting this response because:

I have pictures of the parts that were supposedly purchased also. However the parts were not picked up from Aim Collision. AIM COLLISION has yet to show us proof that they sent the parts with another company. The company they stated picked up the parts does not have the parts and is willing to write a statement to support this. Aim collision did not send any parts with my car as they stated some of the parts were in the trunk. Per the pics that was not true. They will not locate the parts and will not return the money given for the work not completed or the parts purchased with the money I provided.

      Sincerely,

attached is the invoice of what was completed and what parts were perched with invoices and taken by the tow company. we did all the R&I for to he driver front and rear  doors removed the bumpers. They were reinstalled once state farm came out and deemed the vehicle a total.  Im sorry that the tow company is giving you false information. we have no need to keep parts for a vehicle that we are not working on and would never keep a customers parts. We are family ran company and live off are reputation. We are still owed . $293.60 by state farm for the repairs prep work and R&I work that was not paid to this date. Your fight is with state farm. if we did anything wrong they would have never paid the storage fees and admin fees of to remove the vehicle from are shop.

Unfortunately you are not being truthful. State Farm paid you 10k in storage fees to release my vehicle because they could not leave it there and incur more fees. I have spoken with the manager at State Farm as well and I have written statements from the people involved stating you all were negligent to provide services and parts we paid for. If you removed the doors and bumpers to replace them why would you take more time out to put old damaged parts back on the car when the adjuster came out. Thats unnecessary time and work when you knew they would more than likely total the car out. My car was dropped off to you all on 8/26. The adjuster did not come out until 10/18. The doors were already prepped for paint per the pics you provided me. It does not take 2 months to paint doors and replace them. You stated you need to be paid because you removed the inside panels of my doors to put them on the new doors and that is not true. It makes no real sense to spend time to remove doors and then undo the panels to put them back on the old damaged doors when you said the car shouldve been totaled. The car shouldve been left in the state it was when you were told to stop working and whatever was completed wouldve been paid for. However no work has been done. No panels were removed and we cannot pay for paint work on parts we can not see nor touch. That makes no business sense. State Farm has handled their part as my insurance company. They have paid you over 30k. As my insurance company their job is done. That is what Ive paid them for. My issue is now with you being fraudulent and knowing you have been lying to commit insurance fraud this entire time. *** worked with you before paying out of pocket and this time you saw dollar signs. You have no proof you sent away the parts. State Farm and RG express has covered their tracks with phone records and pictures. It is their word against yours. You were the last one to have the parts therefore you are liable. State Farm has closed my claim as their job is done. I will not let you keep 17k of my money. Im sorry. I cant do that.

      Sincerely,
