I bought the clean start laundry system and after 1500 washes it requires part replacements. The problem is there is no place to find these parts. I need part number ***** but there is no place to buy the parts. Also there are two other parts that should be replaced but I can't find those anywhere either.RainSoft

I bought this water softener system because of the salesman saying he was very honest, and plus the demos he did. Now my system has been down for almost a week know and the company will not contact me back, I am a senior citizen that can not do very much, I called 3 times for help and the lady tell me some problems they are having and promise to get back with me but never does, is there a way maybe to get some kind of help returning this system for a full refund or a partial one. Can you help me with this matter?RainSoft

insane that Rain Soft is A+ rated. They are absolutely horrible! From paper work to the installation all horrible! ***** who came to my house set up the application for financing gave me all the wrong information. He said we didnt need to have the homeowner sign up for the loan that I could do it into my name. He said I could just apply for the ********** credit card and that the homeowner (my father in law) did not have to apply. He also didnt tell me I needed to be approved for $10,000 so they can charge the full cost of the system and I just pay back **********. I was told they would charge a month payment of $105 to my ********** card. I even told him I was approved for $500 when I first signed up he said that is fine. Weeks go by and they couldnt process a payments. They even called me several times and asked for a different card they could charge the amount owed of $85 when in reality they were trying to charge the full $8,500+! and didnt say this. They came back out to try a different financing and said now the homeowner needs to sign up and run their credit. This is not what we wanted to do or I wouldnt even have signed up. During the installation the installer *** drilled a hole into the side of my house to plug in the system which was not approved by me. They created a penetration where water can now leak into my home. They also decided to install an R/O drinking water system in the kitchen without my approval. They took my already installed R/O system and faucet out and replaced it with theirs. I told them I just bought it new and ** said well enjoy the new system I only agreed to add a mineral filter after my R/O. I have all the paperwork/agreements I signed ******* its been over 2 months and they are now scheduled to removed the system due to their failure to give me all the proper information. Please purchase elsewhere. I will be filing a complaint if they dont return my equipment and repair the hole on my house to the way it was before.RainSoft

I regret buying Rainsoft. It is overpriced and the sales person makes it as if we are saving money. But in reality, we have to buy the salt almost every month and we still use our laundry detergent. I don't think it washes as it promised. We really want to return the product. When you try to reach the customer service, they will say to talk to the local dealer. Don't fall for the trap. They explain it as the hard water will cause so much trouble in your health, but do you have any proof? Please let us know what I can do to return the product that's been sitting in my garage doing nothing (we tried to fill up the salt, we just can't keep up with it. It runs out so fast).RainSoft

I thought this was a great idea. The salesman made it sound so great. After it was installed wrong (before I knew), a pipe busted leading into the rain soft system coming from the main line and was leaking out gallons of water. I'm a single mother with 5 children. I decided I don't want the system anymore. I'll just use that money to re-pipe my underground system with a REAL plumber. The people that install your system are NOT real plumbers. **************** was rude and said it passed the 3 or 4 day window to cancel which I was never informed of. It was installed at around 6pm on the 8th and the leak was discovered the 13th. It was a small leak at first. I thought it was the Florida rain. The next day, the 14th at around 5pm (when I got home with all the kids from school) I saw the water gushing out of the side of my house. It was just a horrible experience. If you're going to spend the money, you better make sure you want it. I fully regret the purchase.RainSoft

5 starsWe have the rain soft and we had a leak and they had to send someone out he came out and fix it he was very nice and he knew what he was doing and if I have to have someone come out again I want his man his name is **** and he knows what he doing and it does not take him all day to get the job done he was at our house about 6.15 p.m.and he got done at about 7.30 p.m.hedone and finally heading home rain soft I hope you know what you have when it comes to this man he knows what he doing and he very nice and even though he was hot and tired he still never complained about it he is a really nice person From 1-10. I would give him a 10 if he had been the that put it in are if he had been the one to come out Monday we would not have had to call them out again because he knows how to get the job done Thank You so much ****Review fromJosh L

Oh let's see. ********** sales pitch. Overpriced but I was sick of working on the house. Big mistake.Misses install dates (made me have to fix), screws up my financing (made me have to fix), plumber doesn't put in the bypass I was promised (tells me it'll be fine), then the arm on the cam breaks off within a few months of owning it, brine tank won't fill. At least it wasn't the OTHER arm in the cam that broke off.Wants a fee to come out to repair, at which point I said absolutely not.Now there's a software update or some glitch in their pretty little matrix causing my softener to regen around 90% capacity. Manufacturer is useless, though to open a request it has to go to the manufacturer anyway in their garbage system.You need to get out of the old days of thinking I have a fridge magnet with the local distributors information on it.Oh, and don't bother getting their RO filtration system, it's a complete scam designed to keep you locked into their inferior product, you can't even bother to do a regular trip to ********** to get them, complete joke.Local distributor is, ok. Company itself peddling overpriced garbage.RainSoft

We apologize for the difficulties **** has experienced with his system. We are working with our dealer in ********* for more information. It appears his system was installed in 2021 and the dealer is not aware of any issues since the first year. Regarding RainSoft filters, they are propriety and can only be purchased from our authorized distributors. All of our **** products are certified for contaminant removal by either the **** or WQA. The **** has one of the highest contaminant removal certification of any Reverse Osmosis on the market. In order to maintain the quality of the filter and its ability to remove the contaminants that it has been tested for, we have to be sure replacement filters cannot be substituted by a cheaper, inferior product. We purchase the the whole house water filtration system, Water Treatment System, and 2 Reverse osmosis systems in October 2023. The very first week we had the ** system the faucet leaked all over the counter and onto my wood floors. They sent someone out to fix it, however it started leaking again. This time they sent someone else out from Pure Water. He changed the filters in one of the ** Systems and supposedly fixed the leak in the faucet. He charged us $348.00 just to change the filters in only one of the ** systems. He left everything from under my kitchen sink on the floor of my kitchen. Did not put the ** system back where it was under my sink on a rubber mat to protect my cabinet. He left water all in my custom wood cabinet under the rubber mat, which is now stained. I called RainSoft to let them know and asked if there was anyway that we could change these filters our self. RainSoft told me that we had to go through this company "Pure Water" as they are now our dealer, that we could hire a plumber but they would have to buy the parts from Pure Water. I am very sorry that we bought this system and I would not recommend Rainsoft to anyone or Pure Water as they are very expensive.RainSoft

According to our dealer in **********, *******, the system was installed by another RainSoft distributor who is no longer in business. Pure Water in ********** corrected a problem with the customer's floor drain in March, but there is no mention of an issue with the reverse osmosis. Everything in these reviews is trueAt the end of the demonstration of how our culligan water was so terrible, he asked, its an easy choice which water you want. And he displays the two glasses of water (his rain soft and our culligan). I then tell him my husband and I will talk this over tonight and let you know our decision. He then tells me, why it is an easy choice. (Said in a addressive voice, and growing more impatient) he then says, what is there to talk about. I told him I honestly am going to ****** you on the better business bureau and see what the reviews are. Then he responds with, why dont you look it up on your phone while I clean up. I then do so, I find all of these reviews explaining what has been happening with us. He asks me on what I found and then I tell him, your company has a 1.25 rating on the BBB, so no we will not be purchasing from you. He then says more aggressively we have over ****** customers of course there is going to be some bad reviews and those bad reviews arent even from your area (****) I said thank you for your time and have a nice drive home..This place is a money scam.RainSoft

I was told during signup that I was agreeing to a fixed rate installment loan, instead I was forced onto a credit card style set up with compounding interest. I was also told when we moved, the uninstall and reinstall would be a flat fee of under $200 each but had to pay over $300 for uninstall and was quoted over $750 for reinstall. I now have a system not even hooked up, taking up space, and a "credit line" I have no access to saying it will take almost 10 full years to pay off at the monthly payment they quoted me. This is the biggest financial scam I have ever seen.RainSoft
