    12/18/2024 I received a text from a company claiming they were Glass Mountain Capital LLC and they were attempting to collect a debt. I call them to see what it was for and they told me it was for Parkview Orthopedics and was a collection dating back to April of 2022 so I asked them to send me a validation of the debt. Received another text on 12/20/24 (text from *****) Received another text on 12/26/24 (text from *****)Received a phone call on 3/7/25 and told them they still have not validated the debt and I will not move forward until I received a valid claim a phone call or text is not enough. They claim that they mailed me a letter in April-2022? I told them I do not recall ever receiving anything from them. On 3/10/25 - I called and talked to **** from Parkview Orthopedics and they said there was a medical debt was paid by a collection company called *** at the time and total debt was $377.78 and was paid in full to CCA by ***** ******* and CCA paid $272.00 to Parkview Orthopedics to satisfy the claim in full. No balance is owed or due and nothing more should be collected. Also, they do not know who Glass Mountain is and have never used them for collections and do not know why they would be trying to collect any debt for them. **** from Parkview Orthopedics said it sounds like a SCAM.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to add that their response is not actually fully correct as they told me on more than one occasion that the debt was for "Parkview Orthopedics". Seeing all of the other complaints for this exact nature of attempting to collect a debt that does not exist raises a big red flag that they are trying to take advantage and they should be investigated.

    I am writing to file a complaint against Glass Mountain Capital LLC regarding their handling of my debt collection for ********************* Below are the details of my complaint:Company Information:Company Name: Glass Mountain Capital LLC Address: **************************************************** Complaint Details:Original Creditor: Upstart Network, *** (assignee of Cross River Bank)Account Number: ******** Total Balance: $20,695.75 Settlement Amount: $9,313.09 Payment Agreement Dates: March 2021 - June 2023 Issue: In March 2021, I entered into a payment agreement with Glass Mountain Capital LLC to settle my debt owed to ********************* I fulfilled my obligation and completed all payments by June 2023. However, as of March 21, 2025, I have yet to receive a paid settlement letter from Glass Mountain Capital LLC. Additionally, ******* claims they never received any money from ************************* September 2023, Upstart sold my full debt to ********************. Upon providing ******************** with the settlement agreement, they issued me a Form 1099-C for the remaining part of the debt. Despite this, Upstart continues to report the full charged-off amount of over $20,000 on my credit report, claiming no knowledge of the settlement.Attached Document:Settlement Agreement: CC-********- Client Settlement Letter (2).pdf Resolution Sought: I am seeking assistance from the BBB to resolve this matter by:Ensuring Glass Mountain Capital LLC provides the paid settlement letter.Confirming that ******************** acknowledges the settlement and updates my credit report accordingly.Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your assistance.

    The account was reported as settled in full to our client, Velocity, in 03/2023. I show that we have produced and sent 3 "zero balance" letters to you. Since you have not received any of them, we will send another. We have no contact with Upstart Network and have no way to assist in their credit reporting processes. You will need to contact the company that owned the account at the time of settlement. We will have the settled letter emailed out to you today. Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I would like to clarify a few points regarding the ownership and reporting of my debt.

    Ownership of Debt: Velocity was not the owner of the debt in March 2023. The debt was owned by *************** at that time. ******************** purchased the debt from ******* in September 2023, as stated in the attached documents.

    Failure to Produce Valid Documentation: Due to Glass Mountain Capital's negligence and failure to produce a valid "zero balance" letter to Upstart Network, I have experienced undue stress. Neither Upstart Network nor ******************** recognize the letter as valid.

    Credit Reporting: The credit report shows a $0 balance, not because the debt was "settled," but because Upstart Network sold the debt (when they shouldn't have), and ******************** subsequently wrote it off and issued me a 1099-C.
    I request that Glass Mountain Capital take immediate action to rectify this situation by providing valid documentation to Upstart Network and ********************, ensuring that my credit report accurately reflects the status of the debt.

    This business is personifying All State insurance when they call people. I missed a call and when I called back a woman named ******* said the company was called Glass Mountain Capital. ID spoofing is a federal crime and it is absolutely wrong to attempt to contact people under false pretenses.

    I got a settlement for a credit card bill and they never told me there was a time period on it, that it had to be paid by January 31st, I contacted them to see if I could pay in February and they told me I would have to pay ****** instead of the settlement amount of *****, I can't afford it right now and I told them that, that I could pay it in February and instead they have me paying ***** on the 31st and the rest on the 12th of February, I asked them if I could pay half on February 12th and the rest on the 26th and instead they conned me into paying some this week when I told them I couldn't pay it till February which I'll be able to do

    repeatedly receive text messages from this company saying they are attempting to collect a debt which I have none. I called them about a year ago and they verified that I had no debt and would not hear from them again it has started back up multiple time per day

    Your company claims that I owe $1440.32 for a Glass Mountain Capital LLC account . However, I want to understand how your company assumes this debt is mine, especially since I have not entered into any agreement with your company in the past, and no information regarding the debt has been provided to me.     On 12/24/24 I received a text message from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with a phone number to call and a link to pay a bill. I am not aware that I owe any outstanding/unpaid debt, and nothing is showing in any of my credit reports. Therefore I do not know what debt they are attempting to collect from me. I have not received any letters from them or other parties concerning an outstanding debt. I never gave Glass Mountain Capital LLC permission to contact me by text msg. I request that this company correct this error, discontinue contacting me, and remove my contact information.

    I received a letter from Glass Mountain Capital LLC on Nov 23, 2024. They are writing to me trying to collect a debt that already belongs to a different collection agency. I have been making the payments regularly to the actual collection agency. I called my debt collector to confirm that the debt wasn't sold to Green Mountain Capital LLC, and they told me they did not. The debt still belongs to the original debt collector. Green Mountain Capital LLC is trying to collect money that does not belong to them

    This company robo calls me every day anywhere from 5 to 10 times each day even though I told them months ago to remove me from their calling list
