I filed a claim against Geico for my 2017 **** Explorer. They made a total loss but still charged me $183.00 monthly for insurance. I would like the $183.00 taken on December 15, 2024, given back to me. They are now billing me again this month for $183.00. I would like my money back, and these actions to cease and desist.

My Name is ******** ****, my policy number is *************. I'm a retired veteran on a fixed income. I'm having a hard time getting an answer. I recently renewed my auto insurance policy in August 2024 for $2167.83 I was not able to pay the entire amount. I called in to have my payment split in 6-month increments, my first payment was due August 1, 2024, for the amount for $318. In order to receive the discount, I had to sign up for auto pay. I did not have a valid debit card at the time so I had a family friend Name ***** ******* add her card until I could get a debit card. She agreed to having her card debited every month. She had to agree with her voice to accept the responsibility. I find out that my insurance was cancelled the end of September when I called to change the payment to my new debit card the end of September, I was told that the insurance was cancelled due to non-payment. I was told that the auto pay was never set up. I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told that it would take 24 hours until I get a call back. After no call back I called 4 different times to talk to a supervisor I was always told that the supervisor was in a meeting and supervisor would call back. Within the four call it was said that the auto pay was never set up. It was said that I didn't pay the right amount of money for my policy, it was said that I owe $195 because I didn't pay the correct amount In August. The total of $318 was only for August 1, 2024, thru August 20, 2024. I just need clarification to why my policy changed from auto pay to me making the payments monthly when clearly, I needed the discount that the company provide for having account set for autopay. Now I don't have insurance and can't get no one to give me the full reason to why Geico made a mistake, and I have to pay for it.

Geico insurance failed to give proper communication on insanely high deductibels. We pay them monthly for car and home insurance and when we actually need us they tell us that $1000 deductible doesnt apply to wind and hail damage that one is almost $6000. What other damage is there for a roof!

I signed up for insurance and two weeks later I added my brother to my policy. Geico accepted my brother and even gave me a new quote and then a few days later I saw a notification on my app stating that my insurance policy will be canceled on 9/11. I wasnt called or sent a letter in the mail. due to my brothers driving record (i wasnt aware of the details) my insurance policy would be terminated and I wasnt given the option to remove my brother and keep myself since my driving record isnt bad at all. My only option was to get new insurance. I paid $116 to start this insurance and they want another $33 on 9/11 and I have been pleading for a refund because this was horrible customer service. How was I to know that my policy would be cancelled due to his driving record? There should be some sort of warning or a yield page before submitting to let you know that your policy COULD be at risk do to a bad driving record and then there should be details regarding what qualifies as a BAD driving record. I couldve avoided this if they communicated properly.

I have been used Geico for my auto insurance well over 20years now, but for the last year have been having issue with that rate increase hike. I have noted that every renewal my rate has increase instead of going down. I have been in no accidents and no tickets, but rate continues to significantly increased.
