On 4/22/2025 at 8 AM, I received a text from Halsted stating they are collecting on a debt due to **** and Credit One. I do not have an account with ****. The ********** account this company is illegally attempting to collect on was discharged in a bankruptcy. It has been noted in my credit file and **** removed the alleged owed balance. I am requesting this company ceases contact with me immediately and remove any negative marks on my credit reports. On 4/19/2025, I received an aggressive and unsolicited communication from ******** Financial Services, claiming that I owe a past due balance to ************ This is factually incorrect, as I do not have any past due accounts with ***********, nor have I received any prior notice or validation of this alleged debt from ******** Financial Services.This company has failed to provide debt validation as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA, 15 U.S.C. 1692g). They are pursuing a collection action without verifying the accuracy or legitimacy of the debt. Their tone was unprofessional and intimidating, and their behavior amounts to harassment and deceptive practices, potentially violating 15 U.S.C. 1692d and 1692e.I am concerned about the potential impact on my credit, and I take this matter seriously. Halsted is bombarding me with text messages for an Integra Credit(CCB) account with which I have no knowledge or account. Someone used my phone number to perpetrate fraud because it's not me. The reference number G6n7n, which is attached to their website, asks for a social security number. I am not providing this information as I am not validating a debt that does not belong to **** would like them to cease sending me text messages to ************ and add my number to the *** list for their organization.
