1 starI received an email from Halsted Financial Services on Feb. 17, 2025. It states "This is in regards to your *************** (*****************************) account that was opened on 6/22/22. It has been placed in our office for collections by our client ****************." I called them today and informed them that (1) I never had an account with ***************; (2) I never had an account with ****************; and (3) provide me with a copy of the alleged contract I had with ********** or **** Funding. I asked for a phone number for ********** and they stated that it would take them a few days to obtain that number. I found ***************'s phone number through ****** but they are closed today. I am disputing this letter they sent me. In addition, they asked me for my email address, they have my email address. I give them 0 stars.Review fromScott F

2 starsThis Company is fraudulently emailing me. I have never had an account with the company they are claiming to represent / collect from, (***************). I called *************** and they have never had an account from me or even a family member. A call to Halsted left me with a rude conversation from their staff and threats.Review fromCa G

1 starI received a text stating that they (Halsted Financial) are a debt collector for a credit card company I have a CC through and they are attempting to collect a debt. I am current on my CC payments and I have gotten no notifications from my CC company stating otherwise. This is a scam and they are trying to obtain personal information. They provide a link to "set up payments". Beware!Review fromKim S

1 starI have received numerous emails stating that I owe a debt of $470.56. I checked my credit report and there is no such debt. The most recent email received now states my account is in default. It further states that "per our prior communication" of which I have never been in communication with this company. This appears to be a scam as I show no record of such debt owed. 1 starJust hung up with supervisor "*******". My account was hacked! An EFT was released from my business bank account and paid to *********************************************. The name on the check is a ***************** or Jal. When I asked supervisor ******* how they plan on investigating she advised they may not do so. I asked does ***** work for Halsted, and she would not deny that he didn't.Review fromRick L

1 starApparently the same scam about ******** that is reported all over the internet, but nothing about it on these scabs website? ****, I bet theyre in on it. Halsted Financial working with some shady *********** in ****** called BlueChip Financial. And cannot get any help from Halsted Financial either by email or calling without first giving them ALL of what is called HIPPA information. Protected by federal law from being collected in the way Halsted (hereafter referred to as Those Scabs) is collecting it over insecure internet connections. And THAT is a Federal offense. And HIPPA is about Privacy, not just Healthcare Portability. As any dope who has worked in IT security for a month would know.Review fromKyrus L
