    This company reached out to me and i returned their call. The individual i spoke with was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. Mind you, i was not combative or arguing with them i was actually trying to resolve the collection. They definitely need assistance with customer service. They can reach back out once they are willing to resolve

    Harassment. Charge off. They are contacting me for a charged off account from 7 years ago. I am ill and have a brain tumor and our contacting me for account that has already been charged off.

    I live in apt building and during my call there was a test with our smoke detectors I used the word **** ** it really scared me as I wasnt expecting it until I got the text from my apt place after the call and the lady said we do not tolerate profaine language and immediately disconnected. I called again to explain that I was frustrated bc the first ***** hung up on me and she said we dont tolerate that and hung up on me as well. Needless to say they are no help and very unprofessional. I didnt know the word dang was so profaine and I am sorry if I offended anyone

    They called me for three months about a debt that was never mine. I told them several times that they had the wrong number they continued to call until I had to threaten them will a call to the BBB and the ***. I am unsure if this is a real collection agency, It feels like a scam but regardless they exhibit horrible business practices. This company should be under formal review.

    Unifin called my mother in laws residence on New Years Day at 6pm requesting to speak with me. This company has my address and cell number on file, yet called a number that is not associated with me nor where I ever resided. I have filed several complaints and if this company continues to call my mother in laws residence, she will also file harassment against the company. I had requested the company send me something in writing showing what the debt is for and an amount. Over a month and still have not received anything.

    Am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the way Unifin collects customer information. It is concerning and unprofessional to request sensitive or important information through a simple text message from a random number. This approach comes across as suspicious and untrustworthy, making it difficult to discern whether this is a legitimate request or a scam.If Unifin is genuinely attempting to gather information, the company should adopt a more professional and secure method. Clear communication, proper identification, and transparency are essential to establish trust with customers.I urge you to review and improve your practices to ensure that customers feel secure when interacting with your company.

    Wish I could give zero stars. Why are they providing me with someone elses first, last name, and last four of their ssn prior to even verifying they are speaking with that person?! That is so unsafe and this shouldnt be volunteered information

    This company is trying to get me to pay $658.99 in bad debt but they refuse to give any information regarding the debt (who is the debt from, when, etc) and they cannot verify the last 4 of my social or birthday. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful with little to no information but demand and harass repeatedly for personal payment information.

    Unifin as conducted its practice contrary to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). They are engaging in predatory harassment by refusing to identify themselves in the phone call. I specifically requested what organization they were calling on behalf of and the individual said they could not tell me, which is a violation of the ***** requirement to disclose the company association. Furthermore, they called me seeking to speak with a relative. I understand that the act restricts debt collection agencies from speaking to family members about the debt specifically, yet the individual hung up on me when I requested where they got my information from. The government has a responsibility to limit such behavior by corrupt organizations and I request that the Better Business Bureau look specifically into the call procedure guidelines for this company. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of oversight.
