Well this company has a tshirt fundraiser project that they do, each tshirt bought is $5 to the the business or school that did the fundraiser. Great right?!?! Our dates for the upcoming play were given to the company they knew their deadline, and we knew ours. We had to have order forms and money turned in by a certain time. We did our part were not late, sent our order electronically and sent our money same day via **** *** to the business. I inquired about our order several times. They finally "sent" our shirt order out on the first (shows started the 4th keep in mind) and stated it was sent priority two day shipping. Which I was already mad about, as our order should have been completed and sent to us well before that time, talking about trying to cut it close. At this point we still have not gotten our order for the ********* and the tracking number comes up sitting in limbo not even a destination at this time. I've jumped through so many hoops trying to locate our "package", filed claims on the tracking number with the post office. Found out the business lied all together about how the package was even shipped. They sent the package regular ground mail no special expedited shipping or anything as they previously stated. I tell the company at this time I think it's best if you just refund our fundraiser money so I can pay everyone back since the fundraiser was play specific . company tells me sorry about my luck, they did their job and won't be refunding us. They also said if people want a refund looks like I'll be the one paying for that as they will not. As of today we still haven't received any products, so I've tried to report the business to **** *** for this hoping that allows me to get the money back at least to refund the people who got the shirts. they sent the business owner a request. If the shirts haven't showed up bythis week or they haven't refunded us than I am going to be left to refund all these people's money.

This complaint comes with both facts and stretches of the truth. I just a very small business out of my home. I did offer this a fundraiser for their organization and when given the time frame I informed them that it would be tight but I could make it work. I did get the orders on time and shirts made for what I thought the length of **** would take them to get there. I have shipped further in that time so figured that it would make it. So once I got the order to the post office, the mail worker was very frustrated and overwhelmed as she was the only one there in a very busy post office on lunch breaks for most other places in town. I informed her i need it to be priority. I was told she put priority and paid for the shipping (which i had been told by the person making this complaint that she would pay for out of her pocket when the time came) and left. I sent her the tracking number and told her what i was told. I also tracked the package and called multiple times to get an update and eventually my own case with them to track it down as it wasn't their when it was to be expected. When the option of refunding came up, i simply said that the package was in the mail and on the way. They would get their order soon but it ultimately wasn't that i didn't send the package it was the postal service that had their package in limbo per say. After she didnt like what i had to say she decided to be very disrespectful in the way she was talking to me and blocked all ways of contact, at that point i reached out to the director of the organization to solve the issue at hand. I contacted him letting him know that i was absolutely sorry that this happened and would refund him any of the fundraising money they earned that was put back into product and if they got them before the next shows could obviously sell them as well. He told me that he understood. People make mistakes. He has requested I use the money for their next shows design and give them free product instead as he would still love to work with me for future endeavors. He informed me that the complainant was never going to have to refund out of pocket and would make sure of that. Im not sure how this complaint is relevant as I will still be working with said organization, the package was received in time to sell for 100% profit, and no money came out of this persons own pocket. This just happened to be an instance where the exact timeframe wasnt completely followed to an exact want of a customer and then when the postal service took longer than I had been told or expected the customer became disrespectful. The customer now has the product and is out no money and the organization is actually making profit as i will be giving free product their next show and they sold the ones i had already sent. This has since been communicated with the director of the organization and I will no longer be working with the complainant in order to keep the fundraisers going.

I am rejecting this response because:

We actually aren't working with her any further. And this is now being handled by a local business for furture shirts. The initial shirt order was short two shirts which I personally refunded(not the person she tried to go through to fix this) and paid them for. Also due to the fact that these shirts weren't on time we didn't have time to sell them and are stuck with shirts at the end after shows are in fact over. Either way you rushed the job, and didn't meet the deadline and were in the wrong. Business is business, and this business should not be shipping anything to anyone that has a deadline. Also yes absolutely no want or need for any further direct contact with this business. The fundraiser is a great concept, I'll give this business that but they are in over their head as far as their ethics and follow through. Send all the free products you want, it doesn't take from what you already did.
