I brought my 11-year-old daughter in after a fall during cheerleading with a suspected concussion. At triage, they seemed to think she was there for a ****** lip even though I repeated that I was concerned about her disorientation. Once we could finally see the provider (who was quite nice and seemed to know what she was doing), she spent less than 5 minutes with my daughter and said she needed to be immediately seen in an ER. I received a bill for $309.99 for less than 5 minutes with the provider. That is predatory. They did not treat her, just referred her (and I felt like I needed to shepherd her case through the front desk and triage. Besides the provider, there was no sense of urgency which there should have been). As a side note: My daughter was seen at Lutheran General in the *** admitted, and given a CT scan and the bills for those things were less than the 5-minute encounter.

They have illegally double billed me for the same procedure twice. I've spoken with their billing department multiple times and they apologize and promise to reverse the charge and then months later I get another bill.

I called to ask if they could provide me with a service. I was assured they were able. I registered, talked to the front desk, explained again, waited, met the intake nurse, she took my vitals while I went over my reason for visit again. Finally the provider comes in to tell me that they can't prescribe a controlled substance. Which is whatever, company policy. I get it. But they had THREE chances to let me know before I saw the doctor. I asked said provider to double check the policy and when she came back, she said she could write me a 1-week "holdover" script. I declined and as I left I was told I would be getting a refund for the office visit. Now they're saying that the provider's compromise counts as an "assessment" and refusing to refund me the $125. This clinic has no idea what they are doing or their own policies. If you have an issue, they'll farm it out to their corporate "customer advocacy" line that they don't even know the hours of operation for.

I went to MEC in ********, ** saw **************************, needs better bedside manners, she's rude, disrespectful & I felt discriminated. I went there after trying to ride out a stomach bug that left me vomiting, diarrhea, fever, body aches/chills, no taste/smell. Thankfully by 12/16 the fever broke but I still was sick to my stomach. She condescendingly questioned why I didn't go sooner because my test were negative thankfully, says u probably had COVID, or have the virus going around. When I asked about a return to work letter, she assumed I wanted FML, I have no idea where she got that from. Then had me followup 12/18, assumed I wanted more time, even though I was still sick to my stomach. I didn't request more time, but after waiting over 2.5hrs (not complaining) due to how swamped & they accidentally put 3 patients ahead of me. I was not going to have enough to drive the note to my employer. She says to lower my mask, says you look better to me, she's not giving me an extended vacation (again never asked for more) & all I wanted was the correct date 12/19. Not even my employer gave me a hard time. They want me 100% not running back still sick. I didn't appreciate her preconceived assumptions or implications. I went there because I couldn't get a quicker appt with my primary not to be scolded or judged. I'm a single mom, put everyone first and work very hard, for her to pass that type of judgment. Especially when I wasn't asking for the things she assumed. I felt disrespected and couldn't believe she was treating me that way. I'm a humble and kind woman. I worked in the medical field many moons ago, so I understand the pressures, however, she's there to address my medical needs, not everyone heals ask quickly as another. I'm 45, have manners, never disrespected her, but did make her aware that I didn't appreciate her biases and found her to be very disrespectful. The staff on the other hand are WONDERFUL! Kind, prompt, respectful and professional.

Zero review for ************, administration are rude and unprofessional. They refused treatment to a sick toddler because of there laziness and repeated errors. Sent a toddler a bill ($300) to collections. ******* has always had a primary ppo and secondary ppo plus a third insurance provider. They only chose to submit one provider instead of all three. Once midwest ******** billing department told them there terror was fixed ( on conference call) billing services told them that They may see my son and they still refused service to my child who had an ear infection. Midwest has made this error to four of my family members and friends They actually told my daughter when she once visited that they only need one of her insurance cards when she tried to submit both. They sent her a bill that I also had to correct later. By the way the end that was the most unprofessional was when she said with a nasty tone " what you wanna do? Pay the $300 bill or leave?" ***************, ******* refused service***Big thanks to ********************** urgent care for helping my child and allowing all three insurance providers to pay them.

We brought our son in on Monday November 13th to have his finger x-rayed/examined after hurting it while in gym class at school. Our son was brought back to get an x-ray and then was examined by the doctor. The doctor stated that he reviewed the x-ray but didnt see any breaks, he proceeded to place a splint (the wrong kind, the wrong way) and said to wear the splint the rest of the evening and that he would call us after the radiologist read the x-ray, if it was in fact broken. He said if we didnt hear from him that it was ok and the splint could be removed. He NEVER called! Fast forward to Friday Nov 17, we brought our son back to have his finger examined again and to get a note to excuse or allow our son to attend gym class. When the doctor came in to examine my son, she told us x-rays that were done on Monday were suspicious for an avulsion fracture and that they needed to do more x-rays. We did have more X-rays done Friday Nov 17, that did in fact show there was an avulsion fracture and that my son needed to see an orthopedic specialist. So, my son went an entire week with an avulsion fracture that we were never made aware of!!! This is absolutely unacceptable! My sons care was neglected.

My little sister came here on 10/28 for a physical for a new job. She was instructed to bring back her shot records or pay $175 for immunizations. I explained I had no insurance. Lucky my mother had my original records and when I brought them back on 11/5/23 I was told that I had to go to another facility to have another physical done. None of the doctors would sign off on the physical, they did not offer any suggestions like we can do the physical but because their provider left I have to go somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE they even make you come back for test results. It’s all about the money and not the care of the patients. YOU ARE A CLINIC….. Kannel was very helpful and patient with my attitude I had with the questions. My rating is zero. Well Kannel made it a one star because of her service.
