At closing there were rust marks on our front concrete entrance that they refused to clean at first, after contacting our lawyer and refusing to sign the closing papers they did cleaned. One of the trees died and they refused to replace claiming that the tree was over mulched ( the tree was dead before the mulch was placed)Terrible customer service

Thank you for sharing your concern. We value any issues our homeowners may have. We are happy we were able to resolve the items covered under warranty.

First time New construction home buyers. Absolute horrific experience so far. All issues very similar to the past reviews. Fridge leaked all over brand new kitchen, after not being able to get ahold of them (even through their emergency lines) we called the supplier. And hartz is claiming they have no record of such damage. Currently hot water running to our main toilet, not considered a priority or rush job to them. Cabinets and doors damaged from poor craftsmanship, terrible drywall work, tons of walls not painted. All of this was documented and never addressed. We agreed upon closing, the village will let us close on our new home, without final grade, sidewalks or a driveway. With the agreement, hartz will complete this contracted work once the weather breaks and the concrete company's open for the spring. MONTHS of being in this house, and months of begging this company to return to do this work. We have watched multiple surrounding homes receive this exact work that we are owed. Our yard is a swamp with overgrown weeds, mosquitos, washed out entry ways.our neighbors are complaining to us and the village. Our new floors and carpeting are being ruined from all of this mud. We are getting into summer months with out being able to enjoy our new purchase. We have rescheduled our fencing company four times now, with all the false hope of them actually coming when they say they will. We were told, the village will no longer allow this contractor to close on homes without this work completed. So my family's brand new home is push to the back of their priority list, because we no longer make them money. Hartz does not care about their customers safety or their integrity of work. We have documented all this unethical and negligent feedback, and are still currently waiting on a yard.
