      OWC admitted in my complaint on here the sale price of an item is determined on the day the item is sold and shipped. They commandeered my item and kept both the item and my money without telling me anything at all by redirecting the shipping back to them. Apparently, they had sellers remorse and did not like the price they sold it for. They had possession of MY merchandise at that point and chose to steal it as opposed to letting it go for the agreed upon price already paid. Attorney General complaint filed in their home state still unresolved but Im hopeful. Issuing a refund several days later does not absolve crooked theft of someones merchandise. Nor does it absolve shady business practices. Nor does it absolve **** poor customer service. I had to call YOU in order to find out what was going on, but your greedy, money grubbing thieving employees were right on re routing MY package back to them. There is NO SHAME in this organization.

      Hello *****, thank you for your feedback. As previously communicated, our ****************** of Sale states, "OWC reserves the right to cancel any order if there was a typographical error on the Site concerning the pricing or availability of any item you ordered when you placed the order." We did recall the shipment, and have processed a refund back to you. An order is considered to be still in "our possession" during the shipping process, as we are the liable party for that shipment, and the insurer of that shipment.

      Beyond disappointed with OWC **************** I purchased a brand new iMac 27" Retina 5K with a memory upgrade to 64 GB. I had problems right out of the gate with the machine randomly restarting. Contacted tech support countless times and they blamed my OS, applications, etc. Eventually, techs determined it was a *** issue and offered me a whopping 10% discount to replace the *** they sold **** cannot express my level of disappointment with the customer service I received after years and years of being a loyal customer.

      I purchased a laptop from them and it worked for about five months. Then, one day, it would not start up again after shutting it down. I had purchased a warranty when I first bought the computer and was able to send it in for repairs.When I got it back, it still wouldnt power up.They said that it might have to send it back in for repairs a second time, but that I had to wait because their system wasnt allowing them to set up another return.I asked if a refund was an option with the warranty that I had purchased. They said that it was not.I shared with them that I was disappointed in how they were handling this issue.In my last email I asked what the next steps would be, and never heard back from them since then. That was about two weeks ago.I have all the emails that went back-and-forth between me and them.I ended up getting the computer fixed by a local tech. It cost me $250 to get it fixed which shouldve been covered by the warranty. However, I never heard back from them.I will never make a purchase on their website again.

      Bought a $2500 RAID drive. Started getting imminent failure notice within days. Contacted customer service & got jerked around for 10 days & repeatedly told to "just be patient". Finally spent half hour on the phone with tech support who agreed they should replace it. After wasting a ton of time "updating their new system" (new in the last 10 days? Really?) he agreed to send me a new drive, if I forked over another $370 hostage fee. Umm, you already have $2500 bucks of *********** me a brick. WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

      Hi ******, thanks for reaching out. I do see your conversation with our team member. He was correct that in order to send out a new drive, prior to receiving the predicted to fail drive, there would be a charge, which is refunded as soon as the failing drive is returned. With the value of these items, we do need to have that insurance that the failing item will be returned. Alternately, you can go ahead and ship in the drive predicted to fail, and we will get a replacement shipped out as soon as that drive arrives.

      I ordered a 2017-2021 IMac and was lead to believe by the webpage that it would ship the same day as ordered, the 29th of January.The representative I just spoke with indicated he still had no idea when it would be shipped. The order was cancelled.

      After being an OWC customer for many years I've stopped. I placed an order on Sunday Dec 3rd for just over $2500. On Monday I received a call from OWC telling me the iMac I ordered was not available. I was asked to select another model. When I selected one I was told I would not receive the **** week discount I had received on Sunday Dec 3rd. I ask to cancel my order. That took three phone calls (overseas), two chats (overseas), and three emails. As of Dec 6th my order is still not cancelled. Goodbye OWC.

      Do not waste your time. They are selling subpar products to their consumers, and misleading them into thinking that they are of a good quality.Find some of their competitors, they are doing a better job at being honest and direct.

      Hello ****. I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to fix an issue you've had from day 1 of receiving a machine, when it is not reported to us right away. We stand behind our products, but also request that you report an issue in a timely manner. I do see you left a review on TrustPilot on June 1st, which stated, "Great prices, and unexpectedly fast shipping. I was not 100% satisfied with the ranking of the refurbished device. I think it should have been fair vs. good, but I am still 90% happy with the item I received. Great Macbook Pro price!"I now see that yesterday, 11/29/2023, you did modify that review as well, to reflect your unhappiness with this machine.The machine did come with a 90 day warranty, though 8/23/2023. We would have been happy to look at the machine and address any issues with it, however, due to the length of time it has been since the machine was purchased, we can no longer file any claims for shipping damage. Additionally, as your warranty has now been expired for over 90 days, we are not able to make any exception to bring this in. I would highly encourage you to follow up and contact any company with whom you've made a purchase that has issues as soon as the issues are noticed, so they can address and rectify them right away.
