We bought this vehicle at top book price, it was not actually running at that value. The vehicle started blinking the dash lights would blink like Christmas lights the headlights did the same and the engine would miss in time with the blinking. We couldnt even drive the vehicle at this point. We explained what was happening to *****************************, who said sorry its as is, you owe a payment and if you dont pay we will repo you have 24 hrs he said we were 10 days late on our payment but we were only 7 and we were trying to dispute any additional fees due on the vehicle because we already paid tip book value for a vehicle that we could not drive and didnt have the additional money in our budget to fix. We wanted to call it a wash we offered him to take the vehicle back and forgive what we owe. He refused. He then said after a few days that if we did not return the vehicle to him immediately he would come tow it and gave us a $500-$5000 estimate for the fee of the repo. We then drove the vehicle to his lot. I filmed a shot video as I pulled in of the blinking and to document any nasty words he may have for us when we showed up. The lot was empty we left the van and left the property and ended the video. A few days later we got the letter I attached in the uploaded photos which stated that he was going to resell the vehicle and if he made enough that would go toward our debt or if we wanted the vehicle back we could pay $1079.75 which is now our balance. After financing $719.99 (including dmv fees that was covered through our financing agreement and the $500 principal we still owe). We were obviously confused as to why the balance increased so much so we called him. We let him know we did not and could not afford to take the vehicle back and that ethically he shouldnt resell the vehicle and scam someone else like he did us. Then we asked why theres was an increase in our balance and he said that he charged us $350 to repo the vehicle even after we delivered
