1 starI am very dissatisfied with RENU Property Management. As the primary breadwinner in my household with school-age dependents, I was obligated to pay a $60 application fee for every adult, despite them being my dependents. I asked for a refund for myself and my dependents, but two months later, I have not received anything.The lack of responsiveness and accountability is inexcusable. Imposing unnecessary fees and then neglecting to process refunds promptly demonstrates poor business practices. I would not suggest RENU Property Management to anyone seeking a dependable and trustworthy rental company.If you are thinking about engaging with them, be ready for inconvenience and delays. I hope they enhance their customer service and refund procedures, but at this moment, my experience has been entirely disappointing.Review fromAlexis W

1 starME AND MY FAMILY HAVE BEEN IN OUR HOME FOR 6YRS WITH **** ONLY BEING THE PROPERTY OWNER FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS BUT I JUST RECENTLY BEEN DEALING WITH A ROOF LEAK THAT WOULD LEAK ONLY WHEN IT RAINED IN MY LIVING ROOM SINCE 1.9.25 THE REMEDIATION TEAM CAME IN TUESDAY 3.4 TO DO THE **** FOR WHERE THERE WAS MOLD AND NOT HALF OF MY F****** LIVING ROOM LOOKS LIKE A F****** PLASTIC BOX AND WHEN I RECEIVED THE PICTURES BACK OF THE TAKE DOWN IT WAS F****** MOLD EVERYWHERE!! THE TEAM THAT DID THE TAKE DOWN STATED IT WAS WORSE THAN THEY EXPECTED!!! MY WHOLE FAMILY OF 6 IS ALL ASTIMAC!!!!!!! AND **** DONT CARE! I STATED THAT I KNEW THERE WAS AN EMPTY UNIT AT THE END OF ********* AND I WANTED A TRANSFER, AT THIS POINT, I AM NOT COMFORTABLE HAVING MY FAMILY NO LONGER LIVING IN A HOUSE WHERE THERE WERE AND STILL IS AND MIGHT BE MOLD! They do their best to keep our hard earned money. They took off $1800 out of my $2200 deposit - and have yet to explain why. I have videos and pictures of how we left everything - for that same reason. While we lived there, I had a hole in my second floor form my third due to ongoing leak that was never fixed. Light fixtures has water in them and electric box kept tripping because of it - I have screenshots of my maintenance requests. They have the audacity to keep my money for no reason. I normally dont say much but this time -I will even look into a lawyer because Im not giving them one cent from my money anymore!RENU Management LLC

I have reviewed your move out charges which did total $1814.95 for damages. You were provided with the detailed invoice of the charges which were beyond normal wear and tear. Things like paint, cleaning, and carpet cleaning. The total cost to repair this home after your move out was $3740, and your portion was $1814.95. I would NOT rent from them EVER again!! Myself and 6 children were left without a working stove for 3 weeks and without a working refrigerator for 4 weeks. I kept getting the run around about when the appliances would be delivered, I had to send multiple emails just get these basic appliances and no one seemed to care. The vendor took 3-4 days to send a quote that was denied then resent and left sitting on someone's desk but they had to take personal leave and during that time no one followed up. But on their maintenance site it fraudulently stated that the work orders were complete when indeed they were NOT! This was also during the 40 degree snowy weather in **. And when the oven finally came, it was sitting in my dining room for a week. So I spent nearly $2k just to feed myself and my 6 children. I have asked for reimbursement for the food I had to buy and the food I had to throw out since the fridge was NOT working. Just human decency, its ridiculous what I had to go through. To think I was going to renew another year with the company, I think NOT!!RENU Management LLC

1 starBE CAREFUL RENTING FROM ****!! Just looking at the generalized copy and paste message they are using to respond to complaints should show their lack of empathy and compassion!I am ending a year lease here. I have had the worst experience with this rental company. I dealt with a roof leak and huge hole in my roof for almost 6 months of my lease. The communication with me was absolutely horrible. The hole in the roof (which occurred during hurricane season here in *******) caused a slew of other issues such as the floors holding moisture, high electricity bills, moldy fiberglass falling out the hole daily. I called to express my concerns and get updates, only to have my privilege of filing maintenance requests revoked from me. After countless emails and phone calls the property manager ****** ******* never called me back but to email me a generalized copy and paste email and I never heard from her again. ***** ****** finally called me over a month later and finally got the roof tarped and hole covered with a thin piece of ripped plastic after my constant complaints of it raining in my living room!!! There is now a 2nd leak which Ive reported and they have yet to address. At this point Im just so glad to be out of here in January and I will not have to deal with that. The call center is full of people that do absolutely nothing for u besides take notes that dont get followed up on. I will never rent from this company again.Review fromAnthony B

1 starCommunication is horrible, supposed to send air filters every 3 months (which I paid for) and only sent them one time which coincidentally was the month before move out, and promptly told me there was a $50 fine if I didnt send photos proving they were installed THE SAME DAY THEY ARRIVED. I asked about getting reimbursed for the filters I paid for, never got a response. now dealing with them hitting me with a $300 cleaning fee, which is separate from the $300 pressure washing the driveway fee, which is separate from the $100 pressure washing the front door fee. When I questioned who I can speak to about this, I was given an email, as they dont accept calls, and the email sends an automated response saying wait 5-7 business days for them to review the email. absolutely ridiculous considering the house was cleaner when we moved out than when we moved in. Horrible company to deal with and I wish I had the time to fight them on these unreasonable charges, but I dont have time to wait 5-7 business days for a half-effort response from their useless team.Review fromTim S

1 starMy experience with RENU Management has been frustrating due to poor communication and lack of accountability. The *** began issuing lawn maintenance violations in May, which **** received but failed to notify me about until Septemberfour months later. By then, fines had accrued significantly, yet **** held me fully responsible despite their delay in relaying the notices.When I requested documentation of when they received and forwarded the notices, **** ignored my requests and instead blamed the situation on the ***. To make matters worse, they automatically withdrew the fines from my auto-pay account without informing me.RENUs unprofessionalism, lack of timely communication, and refusal to take responsibility have caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. 1 star***WARNING***This is the absolute worst company ever! They will rob you blind!!! You cannot get your money back. You cannot get ahold of anyone. They will run you in circles. They will only email you. You have to take them to court! Or you can't get anything done They will double charge you the security deposits. They will put miscellaneous charges on there as well. They will say that their maintenance team has done something that they didn't do and charge you for it, they will also charge you for appointments that you didn't make for maintenance, on top of double charging you for utilities. It is concerning that the management did not prioritize my well-being, focusing instead solely on rental payments. 1 starWorst management property. Do not rent from them. They entered my home prior to me moving out, without approval and notice. They charged me double for a utility bill and never refunded me. All correspondence is through email, and they will take weeks to get back to you. If you are going to move into a home, take a lot of pictures and protect yourself because they will steal hundreds and thousands from your deposit. You will pay a monthly resident package and they will not honor any of the benefits of the package. Unprofessional people and business.The home was not clean and perfect when I moved in, but expected that when I moved out. ***** this company.
