      On 4/25/22 I bought a dryer from Barnett Furniture and Appliances for $150 that came with a 30 day warranty. As soon as I plugged it in I noticed it didn't work at all. Shortly there after the timing mechanism stopped working so it no longer automatically stopped. And not long after that it stopped rotating at all and is making all kinds of noise. I called to see if I could get it repaired again and they told me that not only would they not send someone to fix what wasn't properly fixed in the first place, but that they no longer even sold appliances because THEY KNEW their technicians were doing a terrible job. At this point I just want my money back and to warn others against doing business with them. A quick skim of Google reviews shows that my problem with them is a reoccurring theme with that place.

      Business Response Mr. ****** did purchase a dryer on 4/25/2022 with a 30 day warranty on the unit. On may 3, we sent out a service guy to repair the dryer, it was fixed the belt came lose and slipped on the tub. So a few days befor he filed a complaint with you, he called the store, and i told him unfortunately his warranty had expired, and we were not in the used appliance business anymore, he began cussing me over the fact I closed our used appliance divison, due to losing to much money each month. Then he began to bash us on media. At the end of the day when he called if he would have been under warranty we would have fixed his dryer without any questions asked. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When I called again to try and get it fixed the second time, they first told me the warranty had expired. Then I told them I would pay out my own pocket to have their tech come and fix it again. They then told me they DIDN'T EVEN HAVE any service technicians anymore and that they had let them go as they weren't doing appliances anymore because their technicians consistently did such a bad job they were losing money. So saying the lack of warranty was the issue is a lie because again, according to them they no longer had service techs when I called. So even if I WAS still covered under their warranty they wouldn't have been able to fix it.
